I ordered a tender combo a plain biscuit and a sausage biscuit. When i got to the window she said my total was 16.37 i handed her a 20 dollar bill. I looked at my receipt and saw she had charged me for an extra 4 piece tender and i told her that wasnt right. So she tries to do a refund and takes 16.37 out her drawers and tells me my new total is 10.88 so she takes 11.00 from the 16.37 and gives me back 5.12. Im like thats wrong if my total is 10.88 and i gave you a 20 then my change is 9.12. Her and the manager tries to argue me up and down then she tells me to pull down so she can count her drawer down. She finally brings out the 4 dollars that was owed to me and apologized. Smh

I like Bojangles’ in general, so this review is specific to this particular location. I would give them zero stars if I could. I used to occasionally stop by on my way to work for a chicken biscuit. I say USED to, because on my last visit, I was served chicken that was absolutely raw in the middle. We’re talking completely pink and uncooked. I spoke to the manager on the phone later, and I have to say he was very polite about the whole situation. He offered a full refund, and asked me to bring the chicken back in, if possible, so that he could use it to review proper cooking techniques. When I went in the following day to do so, I spoke with another manager on duty who was very rude. She never offered an apology, and was incredibly short with me. When I explained why I brought the chicken back in, she said nothing, looked me straight in the face, and threw the bag away without even opening it or addressing what I said. Additionally, she didn’t want to refund my entire combo. I explained that I couldn’t eat any of it, because I was so sick from the chicken. I found it quite surprising that she had the audacity to offer anything but a refund for the entire meal after such a gross mistake, especially considering I provided both my receipt and the uneaten meal. I was willing to give this restaurant another chance until I encountered this employee. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere from now on.

Best Bojangles I’ve ever been to. Staff is friendly and they work magic with their biscuits. Every other fast food breakfast place of the same caliber falls short of this particular location. I cannot day enough nice things about. If you’ve been wanting to try Bojangles, do yourself a favor and make it this one.

Chester SC Bojangles is very unprofeesional. Staff has a nasty attitude! Everytime in the past when I pull to the window they are laughing and joking and serving raw chicken! Roaches are running around the hot plate area!. Get it together and get people that are serious about a job and not just a check. Disgusting!!

This restaurant was all right. Not one of the best in this chain that I have ever visited, but certainly not the worst. My food was hot, and served relatively quickly! Staff was friendly enough, and no problems to speak of. The restrooms could use a good cleaning however. Just saying.

Holy smokes this is the BEST restaurant for biscuits and gravy! Actually ALL the food is delicious and the staff was awesome. We told them this was our first time there and they glad went on to let us know all about the restaurant. The location in Chester has HORRIBLE service at the time we visited. Place was dirty. SUPER slow. Ordered tenders and fries but the workers didn't drop the fries till after the tenders we're done. Duh!

Worst Bojangles I’ve ever been to in my life. Tried to order at the drive thru but the lady kept saying “fries” over and over when I tried to order. Went inside and waited 20 minutes just to place my order because one person was taking an order then filling the order. Tried to place my order yet again but the same lady from the drive thru walked over and started saying “fries” again! She then took over at the register and proceeded to get my order completely wrong. Not sure if she thought it was funny or if she was on drugs of some kind. Most bizarre behavior I’ve ever witnessed from a restaurant employee. Will never go back.

I was visiting from out of town this past weekend and will never go back to this location! I arrived at the drive thru around 10:20 pm with only 1 car in front of me. It took the woman 5-6 minutes to take my order. I though she forgot about me and when I called out she said "just hold on one minute". During that time two other cars pulled up behind me. Once my order was taken (mind you they had no grilled chicken for the salad and she kept yelling do we have this or that) and I got to the window the night staff were on their phones, playing music, taking pictures or videoing themselves, laughing and joking around rather then tending to customers. I saw one worker using his bare hands to transfer food with no gloves, in fact no one who was handling food wore gloves but the others were at least using tongs. We finally got our food at 10:42... way too long for a drive thru when no one was there. When we pulled off the other 2 cars were no where in sight and I deduced they left... which I should have done too. I concluded that the lady (well, maybe teen girl) was unable to take more than one order at a time and had to wait until it was filled before taking another order. NOT GOOD! We ordered a some other non-fried chicken type salad since they were out of the grilled, a 3 piece all leg meal w/ mac n cheese and a bo-berry biscuit. Well when we got to where we were staying my 11 yr old was in tears since they messed up his chicken pieces giving him a breast and 2 wings of which he doesn't particularly like. It was too late and we were too tired to go back and complain so I made him eat the wings and his mac 'n cheese which was only about 1/2 filled. Wish I could give negative stars for this location. I have never had such bad service at a Bojangles and my 17 yr old works at one where we live.

Most unfriendly staff I have ever witnessed. Asked for the freshest and hottest chicken they had. When I got it, it was only luke warm. Ate the first breast. Started on the second pulled off a piece to put on my biscuit and the biscuit was like a hockey puck not to mention the chicken was undercooked with blood in the center. Wife ordered a fresh hot grilled chicken and told them she didn't mind waiting the 8 minutes. This was not her first rodeo. Less than a minute after we sat down they brought her biscuit. Needless to say it too was only luke warm. Completeing our meal we dropped off our tray at the station where a male was working he didn't didn't say thank you, have a nice day or come back again. Sorry this had to be a bad report but we visit BJ at least 3 - 4 times a week at different locations and by far this was the worst.

I'll be the first to admit that the primary reason we stopped here was because of Bob Dylan lyrics, but that aside I still anticipated some manifestation of KFC or Church's, but even those modest expectations proved a bit presumptuous. Let's get the food out of the way, it's very filling and served relatively quickly, but not especially flavorful or appetizing, the chicken I had was dry, moistened only by the heaping glob of mayonnaise that was on the sandwich and the sides were pitifully small, almost toddler-sized portions. The location and staff stood out for all the wrong reasons as well. They were not rude, but they were trying very hard to give the impression that they didn't enjoy working there and that they could care less about your order. The seating booths were very unkempt, grease smudges, crumbs and soiled napkins peppered the dining area and the facilities were simply filthy. First time at a Bojangles and I anticipate the last.

I am a local and have been in this location quite a few times. Food is fair but order accuracy is terrible. The last time and mean last time I was there I ordered a 4 piece tender meal and discovered when I got home I had a two piece kids meal. All around failure. They could not get my order right I oredered 1 Bo round which they forgot! Along with 1 steak egg and cheese biscuit and 2 bo berry biscuits dark brown. My drinks were a large lemonade and a hot coffee with cream and sugar (which they forgot after I simply told them to place it in the bag)! The steak egg and cheese biscuit was cold and very light brown and cheese was not even melted and the egg was cold as heck. Even the manager was rushing things without making sure everyone got the correct orders. Welp it seems I won't be at this one ANYMORE! SHEESH!

Always delicious! Update:. I have become very negative about this particular Bojangles. Something changed over the course of the past 5 months or so. Maybe new management? I've given them countless chances. Food has been cold, unseasoned and sometimes overcooked or (what seems like) reheated. The final straw was when the manager actually questioned what I had purchased when I went back after they gave me the wrong food. He was undeniably rude and when he realized the mistake, made no apology whatsoever for his behavior. Not going back to this one.

I just have a quick question. Does the fry seasoning come out of the employees pockets? Like, if they use too much in a day, they pay a fine or something? Because the past few times I've gone, they got nothing on them. And if you politely ask that THICK sista behind the counter if you could have some more, she looks at you like you asked her for twenty dollars. And you already owe her twenty dollars. It's actually pretty great. That's why I keep going back. My wife doesn't give me the attitude she used to.

Overall our food was good and fresh, but it was frustrating to get home with our 12 piece meal and find that they had substituted a leg and thigh with wings without asking. Basically we had 3 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 legs and 5 wings. It ended up not being enough chicken for all the people we were feeding. Disappointing considering how much a 12 piece meal is. If you go here check your box before leaving. They are constantly leaving something out. Last time we got home and our biscuits were missing. When you live 30 minutes away you can't just run back up there.

I wanted a quick lunch that would be easy to eat on the road. There was no line at 1:15 so I expected no delays. I ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich with unsweetened ice tea. I went to the soda fountain and discovered only sweet tea, so I went back to order taker who said she would have to get it as it was behind the counter. After waiting a while I asked about my chicken sandwich to discover no one was working on it. With me and 1 drive through customer and 4 people behind the counter this should not have happened. So after 15 minutes I got an overcooked dry chicken sandwich.

I have been here twice now and the service is slow. The workers are doing their best, but it seems the managers are incompetent. And I say that because they can't figure or have problems on how to swipe a credit card with a chip. So type in the credit card number right? Nope, that takes too long and the manager is the only one able to use his access card to do it for the workers? Oh and the managers card doesn't work either apparently. This is trash service after waiting long periods of time to find out they can't complete your order. Love Bojangles, this place sucks though.

Wow, what a difference there--great Cajun style fried chicken. Bos place at Nippers Corner in Nashville has no taste, whatsoever, just the most bland fried chicken ever presented. I give up on BoJangles in Nashville. I will try another state's BoJangles, sometime soon. I hope to be pleasantly re-awakened to that great old Bojangles' famous taste-- sure not happening in Nashville.

Awful food. It was 9:30 in the evening and they close at 10 pm, and they were out of almost everything. The employees were extremely friendly, but very unprofessional. They were out of all the sides and they were out of iced tea. They do not close until 10 p.m. so they should have all foods available to serve, just like Chick-fil-A does. If you walk into a Chick-fil-A at 5 minutes before 10 and they close at 10 p.m. you can order anything on the menu, and it will be served to you fresh. Chick-fil-A wins again...

Thank the Lord they are opening Bojangles in the area! Their chicken is superior to any other fast food outlets. A bit spicy but in a great way! Their Dirty Rice is outstanding and, although not my favourite, everyone else loves the BoBerry biscuits (a sweet item). Great sides and they don't send the grease home with the chicken like most places do! As a matter of fact, we had Bojangles 2 nights ago! Like I said, now they're close... we used to make an 80 mile round trip about once a month!

Have loved Bo since first visiting NC six years ago. Now that I live here we go quite often. However, in the last 3 years it seems that breakfast biscuits have deteriorated to flat, bread-like things with stuff between. This goes for Bo's all around our new home, not this one restaurant. Still love the chicken and fixin's that all Bo's offer, but will find a new place for breakfast. Also, the pork chop biscuit this morning was terrible. Tough and stringy. Still trying to floss pieces out of my teeth. Don't know what has happened to breakfast time biscuits, but it seems to be systemic rather than localized.

I never expect much from fast food restaurant but what I got today was so freaking bad. I ordered a jambalaya bowl in the drive thru. When she handed it to me it seemed really heavy. I thought that was a good thing. This bowl was full of mushy rice that was the consistency of oatmeal. I couldn't eat any of it so I basically paid for 3 chicken bites and 5 little chunks of sausage. My biscuit was also terrible. Not sure how they screwed that up since it's Bojangles. Too bad I didn't realize all of this until I got back to work. If I ever come back here I'll make sure to check my food before I drive off.

Terrible service in drive thru!!! they charged us and missed half the order. So then we had to add another coffee and borounds on a second transaction. Okay, then they only gave us 3 creams for two coffees,when I asked for cream AND sugar for BOTH and no fork for my food. Then, as I start driving and try to fix up my coffee, I opened it up and coffee started splattering cause they filled it to the top! After working in good for 3 years, I know that's something you just don't do. Not only did all that happen but they had a bad attitude about fixing all the mistakes. I went to this location back on May 26th and requested fresh food and that I would wait for it and the cashier thought I asked for "free" food I asked her what?.She seem to be high or just uninterested. So the Manager came to assist at first she tried to make the situation right. My order was taken and the price was higher than normal I tried to converse with the Manager but she was too busy sitting talking with someone else about non work related events. Unplease with the Customer Service I recieve I asked for a refund. The Manager ensure it would be back on my card within 24hrs. After reviewing my statement and speaking with my Financial Institution I was charged twice and never received anything. I contact the phone number on my receipt's provided my information and never heard anything back. Today I am contacting Corporate and also disputing with my Bank for these chargebacks so beware of this location in the evening with the uninterested teenagers and The Manager who is missing teeth in the front.

The staff were surprisingly nice for a fast food restaurant, and food hot and fresh. — edit: just after posting I saw a comment about the girl with red hair being rude and swinging food around. I didn’t have this experience with her, she was very polite, made sure I had enough sauces, and came out from behind the counter to hand me my food. I’m not sure if she changed her behavior because of that other review, but I have nothing but good things to say about her and all the other staff I dealt with.

Bojangle's chicken is addictive. I have to get a fix every few weeks. It is hot and spicy, but never too hot and spicy. It's just right. Our local Bo's always serves meals that are fresh and hot.

As far as the big three chicken places go, I think Bojangles has the best tenders and far and away the best biscuits. This particular location has a few issues with delivering consistent quality however. Especially when it comes to the French fries sometimes they're deliciously crisp and perfectly seasoned, but often they're soggy or stale. The entrees themselves are a bit more reliable however. On the whole, would recommend, but am sometimes disappointed.

Yum. Bo berry biscuit was on point as usual. The legendary iced tea (sweet tea) was too sweet for me so I diluted it with water to perfection. The bowl is by far the best value. My child has allergies and the sweet and efficient cashier personally prepared her food to ensure no reactions! It's all about the service. It was pretty busy and there was a line but the wait was not long at all.

We use the drive-thru window on this visit through Chester. We picked up some biscuits for the children, and most fast food places have a difficult time with a large order. I'll have to say that this Bojangles did an excellent job packaging and understanding our order and getting it correct. We ordered over 10 items and everyone came exactly as we ordered it. The workers seem to be friendly at the window and very professional.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly but the mens bathroom has an awful smell. I've complained about the same odor many times but it doesn't get any better. Someone mops the floor but it needs a better sterilization than that. There are some homeless people living less than a block away and I think they go in there and wash up and that smell gets on the walls and under the sinks.

This was my preferred Bojangles until today. The boberry biscuits were awful. The employees were outwardly complaining about us ordering them. The manager joined in and complained. We brought a group with us from out of town because we have always had a great experience. It was extremely embarrassing. We felt unwelcome here today. We won't be back. I really hope they can find employees and a manager hat actually want to come to work.
