Interior design is so classy and modern, sitting on the second floor balcony has a wonderful view to the bar which is facing the street with showcase style. Food is very delicious, picked the special for today Saturday - Prime Ribs which is highly recommended... Dessert: went with the home made jasmine blueberry/raspberry ice cream.

This restaurant was the highlight of my stay at the Monaco. Had breakfast there both days. The breakfast was superb and the service was exceptional. Sat downstairs one day and upstairs the next. The food was great and cooked to perfection. The waitresses were very friendly and not overbearing at all. The ambiance for the evening was incredible. Even if you are not staying at the Monaco it's a great place to stop in and enjoy

I decided to check B&O Brasserie out since I was already staying at the Kimpton hotel. I must say the duck wings were very delicious and I highly recommend trying them. I had them as my appetizer. For my main course, I had the Mediterranean sea bass. It was absolutely scrumptious. It was so good I wanted more. I concluded my meal with a dessert that I particularly didn't care for. The brownie was too hard, and the bananas weren't sweet. They were kind to take it off my check. Other than that, everything else was superb. The staff was friendly and attentive. They also have signature drinks that are exceptional as well. I had the Manhattan which had a strong kick to it. Great service and food. I highly recommend this restaurant. 4 stars!

Ambiance was nice. I got the rib eye and it was quite tasty. The salmon tartar tasted like horseradish. I had to return it as it was unedible. Service was good but our server needed more help as she was the only one for the entire bar.

This was an ideal destination for Saturday Brunch. A contemporary ambiance seated in the mezzanine, I enjoyed a Chesapeake Bay omelette with blue crabmeat and ,bacon. Others had waffles and blueberries..... Homemade Doughnuts.... Chucky style home fries..... Sausages (pork & turkey). The service was excellent..... Seated immediately and served with a smile. NOTE: FULL MENU OF FLAVORFUL MOJITOS AVAILABLE.

In general the food is of real good quality. My only nitpick is the prices: $11.00 for a Caesar salad that is on the small side, and the entrees do not come with a side of any kind. So $39.00 for a Caesar salad and small swordfish entree.

It was ok . We had to wait some time for the guy to come out and seat us. The service was a bit slow for a Sunday morning and the food was average. Inside the place looks great though.

I lucked out and ended up here during restaurant week. Of course I had to order off of the special menu. My 3 courses consisted of the red hummus, citrus chicken, and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was good but the first two courses were really delicious. My compliments to the chef. I usually avoid bone in chicken due to the fat. However, this chicken was not fatty and melted in your mouth. The citrus over the greens with the chicken gave a really light but filling flavor to the meal. My husband had the same selection except for the shrimp flatbread instead of the tasty hummus that I had. He said the shrimp was the best cooked he's had with no fishy taste. Well done B&O. We were in town for a concert and the staff was amazing. They fired dishes quickly but without sacrificing quality to ensure guests made it to their events. This was a staff of pros.

Visited B&O after work with two associates because I heard they have an awesome burger. We had a couple of drinks before dinner. The B&O old fashioned was great. There bar tender and wait staff were very attentive and fast. Finally, the burger was amazing and cooked exactly how we requested. Steal fries accompany the burger and were good but I prefer thinner fries. But no complaints. Highly recommend B&O and I will eat there again.

Amazing food, great service great management. We had a 911 emergency and were staying at the hotel. Needless to say we had 4 children the restaurant was booked full and they still made room for us and did everything to make us feel comfortable. I feel like an idiot because I cannot remember our waitors name I believe it was Dan? Anyway he was so accommodating and an amazing server. This restaurant is a franchise but I would never have expected that. They treat you as their own family. WELL DONE! Shout out to Donal. He was the manager on staff and he is what every manager should imitate. Great professionalism and empathy from this man! The food was also amazing. Duck wings! Melt in you mouth! The pumpkin creme brulee and blondie brownie with banana icecream is to die for.

Great environment, service and food! They had unique drink specials made from local alcohols. The oysters were probably the best I've had with enough added to them to distinguish them but not overwhelm the taste of the oyster. Finally the lamb dish was very good. Cooked well and the bed of cheese, olives, and grains it was on was a great mix of flavors. All of this comes at a price, but you get what you pay for.

Came here because it was raining and near our conference. Took 5 minutes to get seated, it was not busy. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks. The hostess ended up bringing them. Ordered our food, my fiance got the crab cake sandwich, even though he ordered the burger. Took 30 minutes to get the food. Still not busy. Our drinks were nearly empty when our food arrived (someone else delivered our food). The waitress never came back to check on is, so my fiance simply ate what was brought to him. Food less than average for price. The chicken on my salad tasted like it had been in a Tupperware container in the fridge for two days. We stacked our empty plates and stared at our empty drinks. Finally, the hostess came and took our plates. By this time, it was 12:45pm. We arrived 60 mins prior. Finally, the waitress came for the FIRST time to check on us. We simply asked for the bill. Poor service, the atmosphere was cool, but very cold (temperature). Maybe would give a second chance if I lived in the area and had no other option. I don't like giving poor reviews, but I don't have any other choice. Don't go here, especially if you are from out of town.

Went here and had one of the best meals I have ever had in the city. Not only does were the appetizers creative and delicious but the cuts of meat were next level for both the strip and pork chops. Dont worry dessert did not dissapoint. Grade A here, be back next week... If not sooner!

What an absolutely lovely meal! Everything we had was fantastic! The ducks wings were spectacular. It was actually my first time having duck and I'm so glad it was. We also had the cheese and charcuterie play which was also fabulous. The home made beer nuts are delicious. For our main course we did the steak, that just melted in your mouth and the short rib, that literally fell right off the bone. Thankfully, we had left some room for their lovely chocolate cake as well! Such an amazing place to share a special event. It was my boufriboyfr birthday and I am so glad we eneded up going in. We both highly recommend anything off their menu! Also definitely have them choose a cocktail for you, they will make the right choice! ♥️

We stumbled on this place walking from out hotel and I was very glad we stopped. Love the ambience inside the restaurant. They have 2 floors with the bar downstairs. We had brunch and there were quite a few things we wanted to try. The biscuits and gravy were good. A little too rich so I couldn't finish it but it def hit the spot after a night out. Even the tea and orange juice were so fresh and good. Service was good too. I wish we found it earlier during our trip.

Based on the other reviews I assumed this place would be as good as a stand alone restaurant - however it's your basic hotel food, at least at breakfast. It's very good for a hotel restaurant and the service was great, but still not worth going to unless you're staying in the kimpton and in a rush.

Some of the best food and drinks we've ever had! The staff was friendly and exceptional and our host was hilarious. Not sure if their menu changes but I got the coffee crusted pork chop and the hubby got the NY strip steak and everything was delicious. We got dessert later which was also very good. It was 3 mini apples covered in 3 different things (candied cinnamon, chocolate and peanuts, and bourbon caramel) They also have a nice drink selection. The hubby loves hefeweizen and says the drink he got (called jailbreak I think) was one of the better ones he's had and is willing to buy it. If we're ever in the area again we're definitely going back. We even passed a couple leaving the restaurant and they asked us if there were any good places to go eat and we both pointed them to B&O. A little more on the pricey side (about $25-35 per plate) but we'll worth it.

I had lunch at the Brasserie. I ordered the steak sandwich with western fries and it was outstanding. The beef cooked perfect med rare with cheese made for a very nice relaxing lunch. The bartender recommended a California cab that paired well with lunch. The Brasserie is located in the Hotel Monaco 2-blocks fro$m the Inner Harbor and The Charm'tastic Mile.

Great place with an awesome location in downtown Baltimore just off of the Inner Harbor at the beginning of Charles Street. The staff is all awful friendly and it has a great kitchen, with a very good Chef. Their menu changes quite often, almost weekly, so if you like an item be sure to go back quickly or you'll miss it next time you go there. It is part of a very cozy hotel and really fits in with the rest of the architecture in that part of town. Not very big, making the B & O Brasserie feel more like you're at a neighborhood restaurant without the typical territorial regulars. Brendon the bar manager just happens to be the president of the Baltimore Bartenders Guild, so you will taste drinks which are definitely worth trying. Eric and Brendon make up the most amazing sips you'll ever try. If you're in the mood for a drink which is somewhere halfway In between tart and sweet ask for a Caipirinha. If you ever get a chance to try their Chesapeake jambalaya and you like spicy food it's a killer plate!

Our waiter and waitress were awesome they went above and beyond. My daughter was suffering from a bad cold and they brought her some chamomile tea and kept bringing it all through dinner. They both chatted with all four of us and had a great sense of humor when my friend jokingly handed them his plate (with everything gone but the garnish) and told them to wrap that up the waiter came back with the remnants in a little plastic container. That was awesome what a great come back. We shall return in 2019.

We had breakfast here the last two days and enjoyed every bit of it. When Jay came to serve us, we knew we were in for a treat. We left with a friend! From the atmosphere to the service to the food, we were not disappointed in any way. I wish we found this place when we lived in the area. The manager Donald took such good care of us too. He even helped us remedy a situation with our room in the hotel. The entire staff made us feel like we were so important we felt like we were the only customers. I recommend this place to everyone who can get to it!

Came here for a wedding. The food was amazing. I don't know who cooked the food for the wedding but that meat was done to perfection. Everything was well balanced in taste. The bar had this drink called the lemon drop. Was awesome. Had a blast. Hope to go to the restaurant during normal hours to get a taste of the food next time I'm in town.

Waited 10 minutes at the front door to be seated. No hostess at the door. Hostess walked by my party at the door five times, saw us, and said nothing. I went and asked the bartender if we are supposed to seat ourselves, and the bartender said no the hostess will seat you. Waited another two minutes with the hostess walking by and seeing us again but saying nothing. My party left and won’t come back.

I drove all the way from the Eastern Shore because I looked online at the Wasyu Burger. My mouth was watering because I love burgers. Needless to say, it wasn't that great. Very dry, I was looking for the cheddar, the onions was like no words for them. Not very pleased with the food but the service was great. I paid 18.00 for this burger and could of went to burger king and got a whopper for less.

Not the worst food on earth, but...especially for the price, nothing was good. Everything was average at best, and way overpriced because of it. The Gnocchi was undercooked, and all the meat dishes were way too salty. The flatbread appetizer was by far the best thing on the menu. I will not be back.

I'll start with the fact that the food being decent was the only thing that bumped this to a two star review. Decent food, not $$$ food and not $$$ atmosphere. -5 minutes to be greeted in a practically empty restaurant for an early lunch (11:45) -5 minutes after being seated before our waitress came. -Messed up one of two drink orders. -We were served our entrees 38 mins after we were seated. At lunch. -Waitress took our order and didn't revisit our table for another 35 min. -Never were asked for another drink. -Ordered a Wagyu burger, got a crabcake sandwich. Got sick of waiting for waitress so ate it anyway. Seriously, I'd expect this level of service during breakfast rush at a Denny's, but a $25 a plate lunch spot? Come on. I rarely give bad reviews, and I think this was only one of three times in my life I didn't tip the waitstaff (I usually over tip..25-30%).

Husband and I walked here from our hotel on the harbor, and we both really enjoyed our meals! The cast iron crab cake and wagyu burger were delicious. One of the most interesting cocktail menus I have seen. The dessert menu was also really unique, but unfortunately we were too stuffed from the generous dinner servings. The service was absolutely impeccable. We were a little worried about possibly being under-dressed beforehand (we were wearing nice t-shirts and jeans) but didn't feel out of place at all once we got there and saw the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Props for very stylish decor as well. Thanks for a great meal!

Alexis is the best waitress I've had in a while. She's amazing, and the crab omelette exceeded expectations and the bottomless mimosas were icing on the cake! Highly recommend!!

I'm a sucker for a good whiskey drink, and this is a great whiskey bar, and on top of that the food is wonderful also. The building itself is fascinating, and the vaulted ceilings of the brasserie give it a Gothic Victorian feel that suits the cuisine well. It helps to be a meat eater and to have a dinner companion willing to split the Tomahawk Ribeye - it was spectacular and served table side. I have dined here on 3 separate occasions and consider it one of the gems of the city.

Hosted a happy hour group here. The drinks were delicious and the gnosh our waitress ordered up was unique and packed with flavor. The happy hour drink was a gold rush. I ordered a couple . They were wicked good and hit the spot! We were able to enjoy a good conversation among our group (not a loud restaurant). Service was top notch.

Went with girlfriends for brunch on Sunday. Eggs were cooked exactly the way I wanted, bacon was crispy, potatoes were well seasoned. I also ordered the Cheddar Grits, which were the highlight of my meal. My friends enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, and the Biscuits and Gravy. We shared an order of the Old Fashioned Donuts (3 large berry donuts), which were also delicious. Peach mimosa and apricot mimosa complimented our meals. Looking forward to another visit in the near future.
