This was our second time eating at BeClaws and they did not dissapoint. The food is really delicious as the sauce has a lot of flavour. The seafood is large size and very fresh no matter the dish. The atmosphere is very hip with a young fresh staff.

I have been here twice. I also have had Uber Eats from here. The portions doing Uber eats is much better than what I got going to the store. Normally the seasoning is really good. Guess it depends on the time of day & cook. The crab legs are a good size and have meat!! Overall I like their food and will keep coming, just not as often anymore. The staff is friendly. The drinks are GREAT!! This was a $60 meal w/out tip.

This review is for the Hyattsville location, specifically. Visited this location for the 1st time to get my usual Blackened Cajun Catfish w/ a side of cornbread. My fish was extremely soft/mushy, like it had been cooked from a frozen package. Veggies were kind of hard & the cornbread was tough at the bottom. They were out of their seasonal Sangria at 2 pm on a Saturday and my wine glass had what looked like lipstick stains on it. (Ignore the big one u see in the pic lol. That’s mine) The beignets were hitting though! I’ll give this place one more try but the Wheaton location is where it’s at.

Everytime i come to BeClaws it is an experience. Ive been 4 times so far. Most of the time i get the seafood pot with the mild lemon sauce. Ive never had an issue, service was always wonderful. The presentation is awesome. I had been looking for a reliable place i could go to for when I wanted something great and im glad i found it. If you get a seafood pot with sauce dont hesitate to order some rice along with it. The sausage and potato inside the pot with everything is divine. The crab legs arent small, the crawfish are good and so is the shrimp. The clam chowder is AMAZING! The crab dip i would give a 3/5 it should be chunkier and have a bit more meat in it. The shrimp tacos were marvelous. A little messy but everyone has a way of doing things. The fried shrimp basket was ok, a bit overcooked but the fries (garlic) (yes you can choose what kind of fries you get )rescued the dish. The atmosphere is peaceful and its a good place to for a girls night or a family dinner. The price range is anywhere from 15-100 and up depending on how many people and your add ons. The staff is very accommodating and I cant wait to go back! TIP: when getting the lemon seafood pot tell them to go light on the garlic

LOVE their Caj-Sian sauce!!!! Soooooooooo good. I get cravings only that sauce can satisfy lol. Also love their crawfish mac n cheese, crab fries, bao sandwiches, great place! Service has been great, friendly .....but understated so they aren't coming to constantly bug us either

Came here last night (Thursday), with friends. There was karaoke and happy hour specials. I ordered the catfish with sweet potato fries which was really good, to me. The atmosphere was friendly, the bartender was cool but she could use a little more help behind the bar. Overall, I will return.

Be Claws the food was good! You need more wait staff, so the wait for the food was lengthy. I like the fact that management was walking around talking to the patrons. It was reassuring that she was checking to see how our experience was and how they were doing. I have been here before and I will come back! Thanks BeClaws!!

My husband and I went about an hour and a half before closing, we started with drinks and the crab dip (delicious), afterwards we ordered the snow crab pot (3) of them, we love crablegs so we had them to combine them in one pot, they were hot and fresh. I had the caj-sian seasoning (medium) next time I'm getting spicy, he had lemon pepper both on the side not on the crab legs, he didn't like neither. In the end we had food to take home because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs!!! Food was great, atmosphere was great, we ate at the bar. The bartender was nice, great customer service!!! Wanted to return the next day!!!! I gave four stars because it was warm inside, dont know what's going on with the AC, was here before and left immediately because it was hot!! Please when its 90 + degrees outside it shouldn't be 80 + inside!!!!

We waited a long time to get a waitress and then it seemed like she was avoiding our table the whole time, even walked backwards to avoid looking our way. It took us forever to finish our meal because of how long it took to get someone back over to our table. When someone came to our table she looked like a hostess not a waitress. Again the food was amazing, when we finally got it.

This site is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a fair lunch, this restaurant comes instantly to my head. outstanding and all kinds of food and a rich menu.helpful crew, and great vibes. Not less important, the bill is affordable. I praise this restaurant with no doubt.

I really wanted to like and support this business since its closer than Red Crab House in Laurel and Hook and Reel in Largo but unfortunately, that was not the case. They do not offer 1/2 lbs of seafood options or create your own seafood bags like the other places I mentioned. They are in a high rent area so I get why the prices are higher but if you want to charge higher serve quality food and give people EVERYTHING listed that's suppose to come with the meal. I ordered the shrimp to go (which upon getting home had the head on, which isn't stated on the menu), ordered the mix seasoning and medium heat. It was tasteless and I had to add hot sauce and Old Bay. I was missing the sausage AND not given the option of rice/noodles/bread/etc (which I didn't get either). It was not not busy so I dunno how that was missed. I also ordered the $12.95 gumbo and despite the price, liked that I could substitute the white rice with the jambalaya for only $1. The gumbo was ok but Hook and Reel makes an AMAZING and seafood-filled gumbo for half the price. The jambalaya was good and very well seasoned but shrimp was thrown on top and didn't looked cooked. I put the shrimp in hot water hoping they would cook but they continued to be gray (which I have never seen before). The one bright spot is the customer service; the employees were extremely nice and attentive. I appreciate great customer service and they were excellent. Unfortunately I won't be back.

Crab legs were amazing, chose the combination of both flavors, their own mix and I believe a Cajun. I love spicy food and their spicy scale actually gets very hot. Workers were nice but our waitress did not check on our table enough. Otherwise no complaints.

Awesome, friendly service! Tried the boiled shrimp, beclawed caj-sain sauce, medium and the crab fries. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly, sauce was well spiced with a good balance of flavor and light heat. Crab fries are a must try! Will be stepping up the spice next time.

Crab fries are on point. I would always visit the Silver Spring location, then it closed. I'm happy to know I'll receive the same quality of food and drink at the Hyattsville location. Service is slightly slower here, but once you put your order in it comes out quickly.

The manager Nia Tennyson is so unprofessional and ghetto. She has 3 kids with all different baby fathers. She is on welfare. The owner Kim only cares about money she is pathetic as well! She is rude and doesn’t do her job at all. They store the seafood on the floor in the back. I do not recommend unless you want to get SICK!! Oh, and service is horrible!

Ordered the jambalaya and was not pleased. The jambalaya was too spicy I was unable to enjoy the dish. Then I only received 1 piece of chicken, 2 pieces of sausages, and 3 shrimps (that were very dry) I know I am very petty. But I believe I paid around $11-12 for such a small portion. I am not sure if I will be back.

Got a mix of shrimp, crawfish and crab. It literally tasted like they just boiled the seafood in water. No salt or spice to it and i got the spicy level. Hot N Juicy or Urban Crawfish has way better seafood.

Very attractive place with friendly and attentive service. The food was good, not great for my taste. I was surprised that a knife and spoon wasn't given with what we ordered, but I'm sure they were available on request. I'd have preferred larger napkins to the small paper ones, but there were plenty of them. Our waitresses also have us latex gloves for our shrimp course.

Went here on Sat Mar 16, 2019, to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 3:30. It was Happy Hour. The Happy Hour menu had cajun shrimp...you get 6 large sized for $6. My son got seafood sliders for $6. You choose between catfish or shrimp. Sangria is on Happy hour menu, however they were out. So I asked our server to see IF they had Barefoot, Sutter Home or Beringer red wine. She came back to tell me that the bar had NO Red wine. I was blown. They had Chardonnay. I wound up drinking water with lemon.

Great place. We ordered the Caj-sian shrimp on the happy hour menu. Very good,The shrimp were big not tiny, you definitely get your money’s worth. The Caj-Sian sauce is delicious. The bayou sampler was really good as well. I would highly recommend this place. The drink in the picture is the prohibition, I loved it, it’s like a slightly sweeter old fashioned

The working mode of this restaurant makes me very confused. They put a lot of things they don't have on the menu. If you order lobster, you have to cancel the order and re-purchase. It will waste a lot of time.Today, I ordered lobster. They told me no lobster，and I have to cancel it by myself. After I canceled the order, I found that the restaurant was closed. So I called the restaurant. They told me that I could make a call uber eats support, they will help you to make an order. However, the staff told me that the restaurant was closed. This makes me very angry. Why can't the restaurant tell me they have already closed directly?

A fresh, clean, rustic yet modern feel. Happy hour deals are my fave! Bartenders are nice enough to find a drink right for you. Everything is flavorful and made with love. The chef and owner often come out and make sure you are completely satisfied. Love this place and plan on returning frequently.
