Great food and specials! Loved the firecracker burger! Great staff, manger visited three times! They even directed us to watch fireworks from the rear seating area. Great experience and decent prices. Kids love it and want to go back!

I had the BEST burger at Abbey Burger. I chose the Kobe burger with cheddar cheese and onion rings and it was fantastic. Our server (Chuck?) was very hospitable and very funny. There were four of us and each one of us had the best food and the best time. We will be back!!

This place is a somewhat hidden gem, they really do have the best burgers in Maryland! All of the appetizers were delicious; we got crab tots and old bay wings. Our waiter Peter was very nice and attentive! Will definitely return when I’m back in ocean city!! Love this place.

Got carry-out from here. Said it would take 15-20 min but it was more like 30. Had two different types of wings, and the cheeseburger egg rolls. Wings were large and sauces good. Def not as spicy as anticipated. Eggrolls had good cheeseburger flavor, hearty meat. Will have to go and eat inside next time.

Abbey Burger was fantastic. I got a kobe beef burger, with provolone cheese, pickled red onions, and garlic aeoli sauce, while my wife had a bison burger, with cheddar cheese and bacon. They were cooked perfectly, and I also had crab tater tots, and my wife had waffle fries, with a giant pretzel, that was the size of a dinner plate. We will most definitely be back, our next time in Ocean City.

Food was good but their sides were fries (french fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots, crinkle fries or coleslaw, no veggies what so ever but you could order a salad??? Really? I wanted veggies to counter balance the pulled pork sandwich I had. Other than that everything else was good.

Ordered a burger med well with no pickles. Got one med rare with a pickle on top. Ordered a salad just lettuce and tomatoes. Got an onion salad with some lettuce and some tomato. Guest ordered Brussel sprouts which were cooked in the worst oil. Another guest got the wrong burger (Which was replaced) Tater tots tasted like they were kept warm in San oven rather than freshly cooked. We skipped dessert to get out of there. Only positive was waiter did check on us often.

Beef was very dry. Does the beef get put in a freezer? The wings were slightly undercooked. This place has the potential to be really good. All the recipes seem great. Restaurant probably just needs to return to its former glory.

They get a giant F for customer service. Worst customer service in OCMD! Waited over an hour after we ordered food. My wife went to the restroom while I was in the arcade area with my grand kids, the wait staff cleaned off our table and took our drinks away! Not to mention my grandson won an arcade game and the machine failed to dispense his prize. The hostess gave him a spikey ball prize to appease him. We can't rate the food because we were never served. The management there is a complete failure. We decided to leave rather than waiting another hour to get our food. Apparently the kitchen lost our order! We went next block over to McDonald's to get dinner. A Clown provided better customer service than Abbey Burger Bistro!

This is a throw back to our home in Bmore. We love the original location in Federal Hill. It was good though it probably would have been better if we hadn't carried out. Overall, the food was good!

Great service and a really cool ordering system. They give you a paper with everything you could possibly want on a burger and you check off what you want. The food comes out hot and is clearly fresh. There are some vegan options. For vegetarians, the mac and cheese is great. Drinks are good, too.

Whenever we are in OC, we stop here at least once. They have really good burgers and lots of different kinds! There is a small area for kids to play and the staff is always friendly. We've never had to wait, guessing that's because the location is a bit off the beaten path.

As an out of towner on vacation, food is a very important part of a vacation. After being in the mood for a burger and reading the "great" reviews about The Abbey Burger Bistro, this was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had in my whole life at a resturaunt. It took well over an hour for our party of 6 to receive 6 burgers. BURGERS. Sub-par burgers at that. Definitely not worth the wait and not at all worth the price. We kept getting excuses not only from our server but the resturaunt manager as well. "Everything is being plated as we speak" - 15 minutes go by and still no food. I would highly recommend anyone to stay far far away from this burger joint. I would have gone to five guys if I would have known it was going to be this awful.

This place was a huge disappointment. It took well over an hour to bring out food, and the food was definitely not worth the wait. This restaurant was far from ready to “reopen” in time for a big event like Cruisin’. Would not recommend!

Great place for families and young adults. Prices are high but it offers a wide variety of meats and topping. Be aware that even mayo, lettuce, onion, etc can add cost. If you are older, it's noisy with arcade games close by dining area. Burger was good, but my bacon was overcooked and my guest's bacon was almost raw. Our waiter, Peter, was great and tried to make it better..

Last year on Father's Day, they were truly understaffed. This year was an improvement, but please keep trying. The food is delicious! There are some very unique high end items you bring together well. Remember, Fathers Day and Air Show (same as 2018) brings in the first big parties of summer! See you next year!

Great bartender. Great beer. Medium burger was over cooked too well and dry especially for $16.50. Owner is a drunk embarrassment dropping loud multiple F bombs over the loud music while doing more shots. My 3 young kids and I heard him swearing about customers while he stood behind the bar repeating himself from across the tables. We had much higher expectations. I was a corporate bar manager and this guy has no professionalism or shame . We took our food to go once he kept getting louder . bad experience . Not family friendly

Expected much more after reading the reviews and seeing the overall rating of this place and the photos. Surrounding and atmosphere nice, food was really nothing special there, the burger did not have anything special you would expect from a location that has it in its name. The big fail was the hotdog. You pay over 7$ for a joke - but a bad one. All in all nothing that wants me to go back there. Cheers

A nice place to grab a bite. We sat at the bar and had quick service late Saturday night. The burgers were juicy and delicious! I had their Farmers Market Turkey Burger and it was by far one of the best turkey burgers I have ever had. It was juicy, it had a sweet/spicy raspberry habanero sauce,creamy goat cheese, and a tasty peach salad on top. Everything about this burger was perfect. Paired with a delicious potato salad! ( and I hate potato salad) Can't wait to eat here again!

I was surprised at how much I ended up enjoying The Abbey. The food was great, the wait staff were amazing and didn't mind my daughter running around like a fool because she didn't want to sit down. And they even had a little area off to the side so that the kids can play. It was full of toys and coloring books and crayons and they even had TV's set up in their for the kids to watch movies. The only problem we had was getting our kids to leave the play area when it was time to go. Definitely going to be going here again in the future

The burgers were good however mine was ordered to be medium rare and came rare. The portions were generous. Waffle fries and onion rings tasted terrific. The selection of craft beer is somewhat limited. The adult milkshake was awesome. Service was great!

Nice atmosphere, food is interesting and good! Variety of meats you may not have tasted...camel? Kangaroo? Alligator? This is a place for adventurous eating. They do have a gluten free bun . I was able to keto adapt the green chili cheese steak to be bunless and the presentation was spot on. My husband had the peanut butter burger which was very good...they could take a bite and add some bacon marmalade to it that would knock it out of the park ;) chili waffle fries as an app was also good and I think if you asked for a few more tomatoes and on half and avoided the waffle fries this would be another great keto choice. The chili fries have avacado, tomatoes, cheese sauce and reg cheese with jalapeno and chili. Great friendly staff.

We have an Abbey Burger in our neighborhood back home in Fells Point but our first time at this location in Ocean City and we loved it. The staff is super friendly and the price were awesome for happy hour. Best part of all, I discovered that the owner is a fellow Loyola Don!

Just returned from our vacation in Ocean City. The Abbey is our "go-to" when in town. We typically will have two or so dinners there with our kids and a cocktail at the bar once or twice if we go out alone. I love this place. Firstly, the food is delicious!! I crave their burgers and sometimes we'll make an hour trek to their Baltimore location just to satiate my cravings! The outdoor space is inviting and relaxing and the indoor dining room is available in case of bad weather. This week we were able to watch fireworks after dinner from our table and another night, we had low-key live music to accompany dinner. The kids love the food too. We went out after the kids went to bed last night to have a cocktail and saw the previous poster (1 star) and their family. There was a patron using foul language; however, in defense of the owners, it was a patron, not an owner, and the poster had kids there after 11 PM in a BAR. I wouldn't take my kids to a bar after 8 PM or so, but that's me. Anyway, I finished off my vacation with a spiked shake and wrapped up a great week at our favorite vacation spot. Enjoy!

My husband and I ordered burgers medium well. They were completely rare when we got them. We told our waiter who agreed they were raw, they sent them back to the kitchen. The burgers we got back had clearly been seared on the outside and cooked no further on the inside - still totally raw. At this point, our 4 month old baby is crying when a manager stopped by and asked us how our dinner was. She told us we’d receive a discount since I didn’t want to wait for them to cook our burgers. The discount was only 15%! The food was INEDIBLE and all they gave us was a 15% discount. Ridiculous. Don’t go here. And don’t order the tater tots either - a $3 upcharge for frozen tater tots you could buy from Food Lion and cook yourself is a rip-off.

Their happy hour specials are great. The burgers are the hero here (I love their bison burger). The servers are friendly and usually on top of things. Definitely sit in the bar area or outside on the deck versus the standard seating available.

Okay. I've had good Burgers before but this place is known for out freaking standing Burgers! You'll have a variety of meat choices including bison, beef, etc. and can fill out/in a build your own checklist for your version of perfection between a bun. The atmosphere is very laid back and there is often live music from a local musician on the deck out back. If its Sunday night, enjoy the fireworks from the 127th street park. Or another night of the week take your -well behaved- family pup to also chill on the deck. My family visits here each vacation and always enjoy the casual feel and awesome food. Oh yes, do consider the adult milkshakes made with items like Rum Chata, Baileys Irish Cream or Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. They're a wonderful conclusion to a good meal.

Terrible service. Arrived before 6pm plenty of tables but we were told 30 minute wait. Proceed to place a takeout order and was told it would be 20 minutes. Manager came out after 30 minutes and told hostess all to-go orders would take 1 hour. Mind you they weren't overly busy and still couldn't provide service. Left 40 minutes after takeout order and still no food.

There is nothing good about this place. From bird droppings on the table to warm flat beer or an under cooked hamburger with zero taste. I should have known when I walked in on a holiday weekend at dinner time and the place was 3/4 empty and smells musty. Took 30 min to get a flat warm beer and it went down from there. I would not be going back to this place ever. The worse hamburger and service ever.

I Tried this place for the first time with my boyfriend and a friend last night. The place was not too busy for Memorial Day weekend, the atmosphere was fun and friendly, and the staff was absolutely phenomenal! There was lots of space to sit at the bar, unlike many other restaurants in the area. The food was delicious! I loved everything I was served. I would really recommend the alligator bites and the waffle chili cheese fries. The burgers were on point and perfectly cooked. I had a build your own burger and it was amazing and worth every dollar. My boyfriend had the Baltimore Burger, which is an Angus burger topped with crab and cheddar. He was able to sub in swiss for the cheddar at no extra cost. It looked juicy and just as good in person as it did on the menu. He loved it! The bartender had excellent beer recommendations. I asked for something fruity, and she suggested the Früli strawberry wheat, which was perfect! She even let me try a sample before I ordered! This place also appears to be pretty family friendly, with a few arcade games and a little area with games and seating for kids. I may have found a new OC favorite, and I will definitely be returning!
