We had ordered delivery from this place for about 5 years with no problems. Tonight, we placed an order, and about 45 minutes later, the delivery driver calls me - she's belligerent and very rude. She tells me she's having trouble finding our address (even though we've had many other deliveries with no problems). As I try to explain the directions to her, she says "If you don't know where you are, I can't find you! I have other deliveries to make, I'm going back to the store to get the other food". Then I call the store to resolve this. I tell the woman on the phone (the same person who always answers whenever I call) about the issue with the driver and how rude she's been to me. I ask for my food to be delivered, and to get a refund for how I've been treated, and she says that's not something that they do. She says that this woman is the only driver working tonight, and would it be possible for me to pick up my food? I ask her that if I do this, could I get a refund? She says no. Congratulations, Wing Lee - you just lost yourself a loyal customer. Never again. SHAME ON YOU.

This place is one of the more decent Chinese restaurants in Portland. Maybe I should give them more stars, but they don't come close to the other restaurant that used to be at the same location.

I ordered takeout for a small get-together. I got 10 individual dinners plus the over 50 pieces platter. The whole order was ready within 1 hour. We did pick up instead of delivery and the order was perfect, everything we ordered was there, the food was warm, they were overly generous with the garnishes like sweet and sour sauce and there were enough fortune cookies so everyone that wanted them could have two cookies. We had so much left over we were all fed a second time the next day. All of this was for $75.00. I will definitely go back.

This place is amazing! It's in a strip mall and may not look impressive, but the food and service are both outstanding. You grab a menu and order at the counter, and instead of the whole table being served at once, your food is brought out as soon as it's cooked. So if you're polite, you'll have a short wait until everyone's served (we're not, each person waded in as soon as their order came); this may be a bit unconventional, but the food is so, so worth it. Things are FRESH - the veggies in particular; the meat and seafood is cooked perfectly, and the rice is exceptional. Portions are very generous - your leftovers will be enough for another meal. The cooks help the server bring the food to the table and will check back to make sure you're happy. It's a friendly, family-run little joint. Elegant? No. Exceptional? Yes. So good that we went there twice on our 4 day vacation. If you're in the area, don't miss it.

I've eaten here twice. Shrimp Lo Mein seemed OK but kind of bland. However, I also had the lunch special #5 (Crab Rangoons, Chicken Wing, Chicken Fingers and Boneless Ribs) on another visit, and the food was fresh, portions were good sized and it was quite enjoyable. Service seems quick and friendly. One criticism for the business. The many large and small goldfish that you have crammed in that tank out front is cringe worthy and hard to watch. The tank is clean and they clearly have food, but the tank is way too small! Please put those fish in an appropriate sized tank if you are going to keep them on display there for all to see. It looks awful!!!

When the only other option for delivery is Lang's express, it's not difficult to be the best place in town. That being said, they actually impressed me. Quick, friendly, and the food was a million times better than Lang's. It's sad there's only two kinds of Chinese in Portland, ridiculously overpriced "all organic, gluten free, no msg" tasteless crap, or deep fried cat. There's really no in between, until this place opened.

Surprisingly good. I was a little worried seeing their 3.6 stars (currently), but they were the highest rated of the local Chinese delivery. "So be it." I had fried dumplings and Singapore Mei Fun. The dumplings were blazing hot (temperature) and the Mei Fun was quite hot (spicy). While the Mei Fun could have used a little more salt, I enjoyed both dishes very much. My buddy ordered the General Tao's, and he said it was very good too. Oh, delivery was super quick! Thanks! Ryan

We ordered delivery to our hotel. Food arrived around the time stated. We really liked everything. I got Sesame Chicken with fried rice & my husband got Szechuan Chicken. We also ordered Crab Rangoon - by far the best I’ve had in a long time. Food was fresh & still hot. Would order again.

Honestly you might as well go to the freezer section of the grocery store and pick something out. Ordered the General Chicken and the teriyaki broccoli. Undercooked breading on my chicken with raw broccoli and beef jerkey on a stick were not what I was hoping for

This was our first time ordering from Wing Lee II and we are very pleased. Portions are good, food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. My Szechuan Shrimp is full of shrimp, veggies and a delicious sauce. Delivery man was speedy and friendly. We will order again!

I ordered delivery one evening my total was just over $30. After just shy of an hour had passed my food still hadn't arrived. I then call them and they confirm my order was delivered 20 minutes prior! I reply well it hasn't been received. They literally delivered to the next building down right unit wrong building. I go over to the next building and sure enough this older Veteran was sitting alone in his living room eating my families dinner, he not only accepted my food but signed my CC slip and left a decent tip for the driver. I explained to him how wrong this was on so many levels and called them back and they wouldn't bring me new food even though it was their mistake nor would they refund me, I was livid. Guess I should've paid cash!

Horrible service! Ordered food at 9:20pm received food at 10:59pm. Food was cold and lady who delivered made a comment about how she needed to pick up her kid first. Bag ripped opened but didn't look too bad until we had it inside to find half our food was opened and spilled everywhere. Because it was super late and we didn't want to re order food (also Wing Lee was now closed so we could not contact them) We ate what was savable and tossed the rest, along with what tasted like mold on some broccoli. Went in to have a person on person chat with the restaurant about our issue with the expectation of getting at least half of our $50 back (as we did eat the half of the food that was still ok). Trying to be nice and understanding, I told the Lady at the front counter what had happened. She then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and there was no way the food could have spilled out because she packed it herself. I asked to speak with a manager as I felt my request was valid and fair. Since I wasn't asking for a full refund even though honestly I felt like that should have been the case due to how late it was and how the food was cold. She then said she would call the manager and was laughing with him/her on the phone while i was in front of her. Then when she hung up she told me she could not give me a refund because I didn't bring the food back in to show her. You know, the food that was covered in sauce and dripping everywhere... Yes I'm aware I could have taken a picture to prove it but it was late and I just wanted to eat so I threw the opened spilled food away not thinking this would be an issue as most restaurants are pretty understanding. However I cant imagine what I was suppose to do with this dripping wet soiled bag of food in the meantime. At this point I told her I wont be coming in again and they have lost my business.

I saw the good reviews and thought great! OMG this was the most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever had. The pork fried rice was white, no flavor at all. The crab Rangoon tasted like fish, not crab, the bbq pork was spoiled. The smell that came out of the container when I opened it was horrid. It had brown spots on it. NEVER AGAIN!! A complete waste of money!!

Regular Chinese food in Portland is a mess. Sure, you've got great high end, sophisticated, locally-sourced, organically grown Asian food all over the place. But what about the simple desire for some fried rice, tofu and veggies in garlic sauce, a decent container of pork lomein at a price not to break the bank. Admittedly, I've lived on the border of San Francisco's Chinatown and in NYC and cheap, great Chinese food is all over the place. Finally, something good. Wing Lee II is the place to takeout from (or have speedy delivery from). Egg rolls that were crispy and filled with goodness with a hot mustard that wasn't like weak slop, but real, nose tingling hot mustard. Hunan Chicken (ordered at 4 stars) that actually had heat, and was cooked to perfection. You know its good when the broccoli in the Hunan Chicken arrives for delivery still crisp and bright green instead of in a soggy, muddy mess. It was perfect. My daughter wanted some tofu and veggies with spice. Not on the menu. No problem. They made it happen and the tofu was perfectly done. Dipped in cornstarch and briefly browned and then put into a great mix of fresh veggies and spicy garlic sauce. Is this NYC? nah, but I'm not sure Maine chinese food lovers are ready for that. But good? Yes. Really good? Yes. This is the kind of Chinese food made for Sunday nights, or that mid-week-I-don't-want-to-cook night. And it didn't break the bank. Full on, best "regular" Chinese food in Portland.

Tried ordering delivery, after a few phone calls back and forth they decided that my address was invalid. A half hour after I was supposed to receive my chinese, I decided to try to help them out by walking to the main street to pick it up. After I went to work hungry, my boyfriend continued waiting. He eventually called the store again only to be laughed at by the woman on the phone. When I went to the store to confront them, they refused to compromise with me at all. I really just wanted some good lo mein man :'(

Wanted to treat the family, and got disappointed. I asked the woman if she wanted my address four times waiting a hr and a half for it to be delivered to have them call and say they are at the wrong address. I call back and they are still trying to deliver the food that’s been sitting in a vehicle getting soggy . Called the store back and she hung up on me . Will most certainly not return .

Very bad service, girl screaming out back about our order because we asked for it to be heat up because it was frozen, I asked for a pick up and she had food open on table for 45 minutes. Asked for refund and she told us to call cops, while yelling at us. Unfortuently it's not against the law to refuse a refund. So we left with no food, upset, and $25 short in my wallet. I absolutely will never purchase food from Wing Lee 2 ever again and everyone I know the same.

Thank God the food is good because the restaurant is in shambles. Stickers all over the trim, no decorations on the walls. Out dated furniture, and don't get me started on the service. Menus thrown on the table, yelling across the restaurant at us, not even a smile or a "how's the food". Stick with delivery.

I question the spotty bad reviews.. I ordered delivery with hardly any voice, recovering from a bad cold and the man taking my order was very patient and thoughtful.. My litmus test for trying a Chinese restaurant new to me is, boneless spareribs, fried dumplings, crab ragoons and pork fried rice, my favs.. and i also tried the scallion pancake, never had them before.. The man said it would be 40 mins.. just under 40 mins later my food arrived.. the delivery guy was courteous, my food was all packed neatly and hot.. and its delicious !!! I'm eating the scallion pancake as i type lol.. found out I like them too.. I will definitely order from here every time I'm in town and will try the dinners..

Super fast take out. Lunch menu has large portions. Rice is just plain. No flavor. Just rice and onions with a few small pork pieces. The rest of the meal was tasty.
