Really great bbq! Not grilled and sauced and named bbq. Actual, made in a smoker, bbq. Jerk chicken, brisket, pulled pork, and of course ribs. I thought the 1/3 slab that is served is the perfect portion of ribs. I left fully satisfied but still able to walk! Maine Root sodas are served. Some picnic table seating is available. They are doing a great job here, check them out!

I'm blessed to be working just a few short steps from this amazing restaurant. Easily accessible with a beautiful view of the Rockland harbor area. The staff is super friendly and quick with a smile. The food is really hard to beat. The brisket was my choice, with the Kansas BBQ sauce. It was super tender, and smoky, just the right amount of heat. The side beans are also amazing, mixed with bits of smoked meat (pork, I think), the perfect accompaniment for a tasty meal. Be warned, they only serve until they run out, so the early bird gets the best meat.

I came to Rockland for the lobster festival. Texas BBQ is amazing believe me but damn this brisket reminds me of Franklin's. Just Wow you sir know how to BBQ.

Some of the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi! If you're looking for quality smoked Briscuit, Pulled Pork, Pastrami or Ribs, look no further than Up in Smoke BBQ. These guys know what they're doing and there's no better place than the waterfront view they have to offer. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

As an avid BBQ fan, I find Up In Smoke to be an amazing representation of quality, delicious BBQ and superb service. Everything from flavor, to texture was spot on. We had the brisket sandwich, with the Kansas City BBQ sauce, and the Pulled Pork sandwich. My brisket was so good, I couldn't put it down, and it was totally worth the mess I made. I would've visually documented our feast, but it disappeared as soon as the boxes were opened. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
