Great little place. We were lucky to get there early (before 9) and there was no wait for a table for 6. Servers were friendly and attentive. Interesting choices including pancakes with fresh Maine blueberries. This will definitely be s top whenever we are in the area
A cute spot with delicious breakfast options. Their own coffee blend is delicious as are the mini blueberry muffins they serve before ordering. Service is attentive but slow, so plan for a long breakfast. The food will be worth the wait.
The best breakfast spot bar none. Excellent blueberry muffins and pancakes. Great build your own omelets too.
What a breakfast place enjoyed it very much
The blueberry pancakes are fantastic. I ordered the eggs Benedict and I really enjoyed that as well.
Breakfast was amazing. Wonderful, fresh fruit salad. Home baked muffin.
Good breakfast selection and attentive service with reasonable pricing
Well worth the drive and any wait you have when you get there! The corned beef hash is fresh, huge hunks of meat and it is THE BEST I've ever had. Blueberry pancakes are delicious and you get blueberry muffins as an appetizer in the summertime. It is our favorite breakfast place in southern Maine.
The best lobster rolls!
The people are friendly & the food is good, but the wait was quite long, even for the busy season. Despite ready tables the entire time we waited (over 30mins), many weren't seated supposedly because the kitchen couldn't keep up & they didn't want to overwhelm the waitstaff. Quite inefficient for this time of year. I recommend eating here, but I suggest you call ahead & make a reservation.
Went for dinner looking for romance with a 10 and 5 year old in tow. 1st impression was a tentative wait staff and an incredible piano player. Menu was simple fresh and indicative of Maine. Piano player took requests all night from my daughter who wanted to hear everything from Annie and Wizard of Oz. Food was stellar. Host was attentive all evening and may have poured my wife a bit of extra wine! Overall if you want an experience that surpasses your wildest expectations then please go here. Sometimes when you want to be treated just right you can be incredibly surprised. Hats off to this bunch. Very happy Upstate New Yorkers!
Amazing food. Best food and portions in Ogunquit, hands down. Took the family 3 times on our week long vacation. Very affordable considering the area. Highly recommend. Get there around 1, close at 2.
Good food and service
First, We had to wait like 20 mins for no reason plus lines after us but there were plenty of empty tables. Next the menu says "house potatoes" which it was actually hash, plus the bacon was overcooked only one piece and toast wasn't white toast more like wheat. Just a bad experience, barely ate anything left hungry.
Fantastic fair for a Sunday brunch, this location in downtown Ogunquit is as beautifully decorated on the inside as it's food is delicious. A great find for those of us who start a little later in the day as most of the other local breakfast places stop serving quite a bit earlier. If you are staying for a few days and want to stop in for a blueberry Mimosa this is definitely worth it!
Maybe we caught this place at the wrong time. There was more tables than Waiters. The food was okay.
how do i begin? 10 minutes for bread, another 15 for drinks, appetizers were far past that and who knows how long for the entree. Front of the house Sunday 8/21 was a total disaster. I will say though that the food was very good, if not excellence. our waiter looked as though it was his first day on the job, and based on working in the industry for a long time in a past life, that's just not acceptable when you are spending a couple hundred on a 4 top. the entire dining room was upset. the manager didn't stop over and the hostess never made eye contact with anyone as she knew the state of the dining room. if you can get past the dismal service, the food is great- however we would never go back. service was offensive.
Friendly staff and amazing food!!
We had the BEST Father's Day breakfast at the Wild Blueberry. My husband stated that it was the best Father's Day he could remember. We listened to Dennis play the piano, the lovely owner, Maria sing, and ate an incredible breakfast including the best blueberry muffin ever! Thank you Maria!
Good, fresh food for breakfast and a friendly staff.
Awesome food. Great place!
You may have a wait but it's worth it.
The food is excellent! The blueberry muffin is delicious! The prices are not bad. I definetly will come back again.
Waiter called us in to sit and when we got to the table the hostess rudely told us to wait. When we told her the waiter called our party of six back to sit, she condescendingly looked at me smirked, and said “could you at least let her wipe the table”. I was a bit taken aback by this. I wouldn’t have minded if the waiter hadn’t called us back and she wasn’t so rude about it. There were two adults and four hungry children in our party. The food was edible, nothing special. 100.00 bill for two adults and four children with basic entrees.
Goooooood foood!
Slow service good food
Awesome breakfast and lunch place in the heart of Ogunquit. Food was good and the staff worked together well.
Super delicious breakfast, bright and tidy environment. In our plans to eat there again for sure.
Nice restaurant, good service, the food was ok..a little bland.$$
Best ever consider beef hash
The absolute best breakfast you can get in Ogunquit or York Beach take the time to drive the extra few minutes it's worth it great breakfast and lunch place
Excellent Benedict meals, blueberry muffins and pancakes!
Great food can be a wait sometimes. But a nice laid back style for Maine
Had a wonderful breakfast yesterday. Gary was my server, very attentive. I have three suggestions, pepper shaker does not give pepper, get smaller grind pepper or bigger shaker holes. Blueberry preserves served with toast, your name is "wild blueberry". Hash brown could have been hotter. Overall a very good breakfast.
Great food, great service.
Great breakfast!
Fantastic food & beautiful atmosphere! The service was great.
Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Food was good, pancakes a bit too greasy.
Love the eggs Benedict! Ask for crispy bacon instead of Canadian. Their house potatoes are delicious...shredded hash brown potatoes. Yum!
Average breakfast. Pleasant servers.
Horrible. Asked for a bagel done on the grill- it was toasted. Politely went to the service counter to have her throw it on the grill- "no I won't we, we don't do that anymore- there's not room" from the service counter I could see the grill was 70% empty. Asked if they had hash browns or home fries, and waiter said both so I ordered home fries and got hash browns. Sent everything back. Avoid this overpriced tourist trap.
Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. Well prepared food and delightful service
Delish
Wild Blueberry pancakes a must❣️
Best breakfast in town. Long wait to get in but that was due to a lack of employees which is affecting all restaurants. All the meals were excellent including eggs, pancakes and french toast. We always visit when in town
Amazing food!!! Very affordable. Great seating in or out, especially on a sunny warm day. Very good coffee ☕️. Friendly staff.
Stopped in for brunch with the family and we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the food delicious; not one plate went back with a single morsel left. Dianne (Diana?) was a wonderful server and had many recommendations for good places to eat during our ten day stay, thank you! We'll certainly be back again during this stay and again next year; not sure how we missed y'all over the past 30 years we've been coming, but we won't make that mistake again!
The worst service. Beyond incompetent. Beware all ye who enter here.
Great food
Excellent ...one of my "go to" places
Great omelets and the best blueberry pancakes!!
Incredible breakfast, best in town
Big old house with open-door seating, very nice for a cool morning. Parking can be found behind the building in a public parking lot, but there's a fee. I had the Maine Wild Blueberry Pancakes which were delicious (see photo) and hash browns which were a bit greasy. I also got chocolate milk which was brought out in a wine glass and made with chocolate syrup (see photo) which was equally delicious and special. Great place for breakfast with reasonable prices.
Sign said 'open' so we walked in at 1:30 and stood in the lobby for a while. No one seemed the least bit interested in waiting on us. One guy was folding silverware into napkins and looked up at us several times but did not make any move to talk to us or wait on us. Totally ignored us. So we left and ate somewhere else.
This used to be our favorite breakfast place and went there often. I don't know what changes they made this year, 2017, but we were there in May and the breakfasts were terrible. One was passable but not up to what we had always gotten there. The second was completely inedible. We were so disappointed as we will be back in Ogunquite two more times this summer and will NOT go there or continue to recommend it to our friends. One star is too much.
Great service, mouth watering food, home like interior, can't go wrong. Highly reccomend.
Always quality food and service
Great breakfast and friendly service.
I am not certain I can even describe the service as poor. It was WORSE than that. I went with a friend for breakfast. Seated promptly. Unfortunately we were not waited on for 10 minutes. The couple at the next table were unhappy as well. He actually got up and went to get a pot of coffee, served himself and his guest and then served us. We then ordered. Took another half hour to actually get the food. All the while my guest and I were witnessing other servers treat their tables terribly. While the food was decent the service was deplorable. I would NOT recommend this place at all.
Terrible experience. Went on a Friday evening (2/28/14) and there were only 2 other tables of diners. Waiter was awful. He really did not care to be there or about the diners. 1. Had to ask if there were any specials. 2. When he was finished with specials he didn't even give me a chance to comment he just assumed I wanted the special. 3. I asked him if they had any small lobsters and he had to go check with the Kitchen, then came out and said they didn't have any lobster that day. (He didn't know this?) 4. I ordered some soup then the haddock dinner. Never got my soup and when I asked he had crossed it out. (Why?)))) He did comp my glass of wine. The meal was perfectly cooked and fresh but I'd never go back again. You'd think with their reviews and the fact that I was a lone diner (a secret diner maybe?) they would be a bit more attentive...especially when they only had 3 tables.
Everything was amazing great food fair prices great staff we have fpund our go to spot.
Foods great service was a little shooty for a single person eating alone.
yummy blueberry pancakes!
Cute place. We stopped for breakfast before walking the Marginal Way.
Awesome choice for breakfast or brunch. Decor is bed and breakfast style with different rooms laid out like a home. The food is amazing, with lots of choices that I honestly dont think you can go wrong with. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Portions are good sized and service is very attentive. Like other places in Ogonquit, especially near the center, parking is difficult. There is a parking lot on the side street that you can pay for, but it is easier to walk or take the trolley.
This place is absolutely awesome! The open-air restaurant was so relaxing and the food was delicious! The blueberry pancakes and banana/chocolate chip pancakes were fantastic!
The food and service was great!!
They have gluten free options and are very good. Pancakes are amazing. There is a lot of choices.
Amazing breakfast. Anything blueberry is soooooo awesome.
Whenever my husband and I come to Ogunquit we go for breakfast at the Wild Blueberry! It is absolutely delicious! And if you love blueberries than it's even better!
Was great sitting outside and the Avo & Egg sandwich I got was delicious. My fiancé got a caprese omelette and loved that too. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back!
Simply amazing and full of culture.
Quaint snd cozy restaurant that specializes in breakfast. They serve hot from the oven blueberry muffins to all their guests. Located right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Wonderful quaint old town on the ocean.
Not expensive with $4 beers. Decent food. Not too shabby
We went on vacation to Camden Maine. On the way up we stopped at the wild blueberry. Yummy and the service was great . Actually the kids and I loved it so much we went again on the way back down to Massachusetts! My 5 year old still talks about the wild blueberry. We will be back
Excellent breakfast! Don't miss the morning mimosa! Reasonably priced.
Just had breakfast. Not bad. Pay to park right behind the building.
Excellenz breakfast
Easy to get to from the center of town on Shore Drive. Perfectly delightful atmosphere. And the food is very yummy
I loved everything I had here. I will be going again.
Almost didn't go because we read the reviews. Relieved that we decided to give it a shot -- the food was fantastic (lobster benedict, AMAZING), the service was quick, and our waitress was very friendly. Maybe it's slower during peak season? Not sure, but for early May, highly recommend.
The Irish Benedict is fantastic. Service is great, and their blueberry mimosas were delightful! Make it a point to do brunch here!
This is a great place for breakfast. The coffee was the best in town. We loved the blueberry pancakes! They are very good. The staff was friendly and service was excellent!
Lobster Benedict for Father's Day was delicious. Hollendaise Sauce was amazing.,lots of Lobster
Great breakfast
Family's eggs & blueberry pancakes were great.... potatoes & veggies were very good....waffle with blueberry sauce was good...worth the long wait.
Super friendly staff. Shannon has a great smile- very happy. Food was wonderful.
Decent breakfast joint. Close to where we were staying. A little pricey. Omelet was cooked very nicely. Corned beef hash was more like just pulled corned beef brisket, but tasty. Large orange juice was kinda small. Hash browns were good as well as the coffee. Service was great.
Great service as soon as you are seated. They were eleven of us with a large variety of breakfast items and sides. Guess what? They had them all accurate and brought out together. That's a five star alone. Food taste was very good for a quick serve breakfast restaurant. I'm going to make this one of my breakfast places when I come to the area.
Food was great, but the service is very slow
Our favorite breakfast place when we visit Maine!
Wait long but worth wait blueberry pancakes good and coffee hot and strong
Food was excellent but took over 30 minutes to get it
Service was horrible. Very snotty. We wanted to move our table so we didn't bump into the people behind us, and a waiter very rudely told us to get up and move all of our cups, silverware, and menus by ourselves. Food was revolting, cold, mushy, bland, old, disgusting.
Fresh food, deliciously prepared, lovely setting.
Advertised brunch but all they had was standard fare breakfast food
Excellent pancakes, friendly staff, and won't break the bank.
Food and service are great. So nice that they accommodate special requests.
Always great! Veggie Benedict. Great service!
Food to die for. Service not so much. I see it changing though so it's good news. Food will always keep me going back
Wonderful surprise. Classic paella , fresh lobster ceviche plus a first class wine list. Warm and friendly
Awesome
Blueberry mimosas FTW
Blueberry Mimosas, waffles, and classic Bene all delicious! Great service!
A great place for an early Sunday breakfast before walking the Marginal Way. They serve the best gluten free pancakes I've ever had. We had a very friendly and efficient server.
Great staff, great food, great restaurant
Great food and staff. Fresh ingredients make the difference!
Service was terrible. Waitress completely forgot to put our order in. Waited an hour for pancakes and eggs. Once we got the food, it was good. The staff and management were indifferent to the situation.
Good food nice people
Food was incredible! Huge portions! Great service. Friendly wait staff.
Excellent breakfast. Great service. Popular place with a long wait time. 45 min we waited & worth it.
Good breakfast/brunch, a little pricey and touristy, but nice atmosphere
Awesome blueberry options. Ok everything else for breakfast.
Loved the little blueberry muffins, omelet was perfect with yummy sausage. Blueberry pancakes also delicious. Our waiter couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. Great experience.
Great food and always a good experience. Good to see Gary year after to year.
Excellent food for breakfast and lunch. Portions are smaller but adequate. The atmosphere is bright and open with windows all around. Optional dining on the front porch as well. Overall a good place to start your day in Ogunquit.
Visiting on vacation. We stopped for breakfast a number of times. The place feels a little bit on the fancier side but didn't feel uncomfortable wearing jeans and a T-shirt. Portions were large. Food was good quality.
Perfect little spot for a vacation breakfast. Quality food and service, I will be visiting again the next time I’m in town.
All the food we got was delicious including a blueberry cobbler. Our waitress was very attentive and kind!
Great food and drinks!
The food is very good and the ambiance relaxed and welcoming. The only odd observation is that somehow the guests of color were being served by the only waiter of color, who was an excellent waiter. Could well be a coincidence, but it was odd.
The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! Our waiter referred to my children as prince and princess and brought out mini muffins as soon as we got there. Highly recommend!
Always a great meal!!
Lovely place to have brunch. Lobster Benedict is my favorite. Blueberry Mimosa is amazing. Mojito is just so-so.
Looks very nice, but it’s taken almost 30 minutes for an order of blueberry pancakes, while the couple at the next table, who were seated and ordered after me, got all their food more than 10 minutes ago. I’m hoping it actually tastes good because at this point it’s not worth it.
Excellent breakfasts. Scrumptious high quality menu! Staff was very attentive and cordial. Enjoyed every visit. Loved this place so much, we decided to not have breakfasts anywhere else! Thank you Wild Blueberry, you're divine!
Best Eggs Benedict Anywhere! She got the Canadian version and I got the Irish version. Both were amazing! That homemade hash is sooooo good. Edit: I now compare all Irish Eggs Benedict against this one. Simply the best.
Great food, service, Love Jen!!
Delicious food in beautiful surroundings. Try (you guessed right?), anything with Blueberries
Food was good - eggs Benedict and build your own omelette. Mamosas and sangrias were also quite good. Service was okay, but they don't turn tables very quickly for a busy breakfast place.
Great service and food. Lobster roll was outstanding.
Very friendly staff and delicious food
Food was amazing and the staff was great! We will be back!
Service needs improvement, good ok
Lobster Benedict was great!
Relaxing, enjoyable place wth excellent food. French toast, blueberry pancakes, egg white scrambled eggs and fruit plate was very yummy! They gave Wiki sticks to my daughter to play wth, which is also a plus in my book!
Went there 3 times over the past week. Always saying to myself"it'll get better" Food was okay crisp bacon oily and hardly cooked Blueberry pancakes man hole covers Convience was the#1rrasom I went. The young hostess needs to find a new job. Most of the wait staff was friendly
Was a fantastic breakfast! I had Irish eggs benedict , poached eggs cooked perfectly on top of shredded corn beef , my friend had the California scramble, looked perfect, she loved it! Will definitely go back on next trip
Service,quality,kindness,attentiveness
great food and service. very enjoyable atmosphere
Nice ambiance, decent food and decent service.
Great food, great service
Great service, great coffee and delicious breakfast!
Delicious!
Great little breakfast/lunch spot..great location..and you guessed it..amazing blueberry muffins
Great food. Poor server
Tourist trap with crappy food but friendly pleasant waitstaff. I could barely eat my breakfast it was so bad....bummer
It was ok. Nothing impressive that would make me want to go back
Food excellent! Service quick and attentive. Located between center of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove. Perfect!
Delicious breakfast and great coffee! Friendly waiter. Service a little slow but well worth the wait.
Excellent food and service.
Breakfast of vegetable eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes. Fabulous
Had the lobster Benedict, delicious! Lobster was fresh and was presented well. Hashbrowns that came with the dish, nothing special but then again I didn't order it for the potatoes. Excellent service by Hailey!
Great food, great atmosphere, outside Cafe sitting is excellent in Ogunquit, Maine.
This is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or brunch. They have a few options is you’re Gluten Free. I had the eggs Benedict on GF toast. Soooooo good. They’ll also make gf pancakes. Not bad at all for the gf variety. Loved the blueberries. We can on a Sunday in June and we didn’t wait too long. The staff was very friendly. And the prices were more affordable than I expected. Good choice. My only constructive feedback, if they’re reading this... there are only two bathrooms. Would help if they were gender neutral because women always wait. They were out of soap and resorted to fill the soap bottle with water. Not something you’d expect at a nice restaurant. But all in all, a great experience and great food.
Great place in the heart if Ogunquit; delicious food, great menu options.
It's a little bit on the high $$$ side really good food
Great atmosphere and good food.
