Burgers are 2 for 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Food is always good. Never been during summer season and found it much busier and took a while longer than usual for burgers to come out. They have two outdoor patios to eat/have a drink on.

Great variety of burgers. Fries and tater tots were perfect. Fried pickles and buffalo wings were delicious. Somehow this place has always been on our list to visit but has been elusive getting here. Glad we did. We’ll be back each summer that we stay at Hampton.

They have very funny staff members and the prices are very affordable and you get a lot food. The burgers are a little on the dry side, but overall the experience was great. I even got to put up a dollar bill on the wall.

Fun pub one block off the ocean. The black and blue burger was delicious...juicy and just the right mix of toppings. The poutine was just ok...gravy was a little watery and not much cheese. The bad lab IPA was good and I liked that it is locally brewed (Somersworth, NH).

Stopped in for a beer or 3 while walking through Hampton and was pleasantly surprised by the Goat. Friendly and casual atmosphere with more locals than tourists. Bar service was a little slow at first but then I realized that they were changing shifts. Once the new bartender got settled in, service was great. The Goat felt like a "hole-in-the-wall" hidden gem for those who enjoy the feel of a real pub. I didn't eat anything but the burgers and apps coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled tempting. **2019 update** Visited the Goat several times during this year's vacation and was blown away!! The burgers are amazing and the pulled pork Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had! Savannah was our waitress and she was excellent!! Very friendly and pleasant while providing great service! I didn't catch the names of our other servers but they were all wonderful. The atmosphere was fun - live music and happy customers combined with personalities of the staff make The Goat a "must" visit!! We pinned our dollar on the wall, among thousands of others, and we plan on updating that dollar with every yearly visit.

Drinks were good. Food took over 40 minutes to come out and once it did our food was cold. The waitress didn’t apologize or give an explanation as to why it took so long. The place was not crowded at all and I wish the situation was handled better. We will be back for drinks but will not return for brunch.

They really should make a +/- rating on Google . Went here for breakfast ordered coffee and my wife ordered chocolate milk we waited for 15 min for our drinks as the bartender and waitress argued who was going 2 go get more chocolate syrup. When we got our fro,la the coffee cup had toast crumbs on the rim ( no food at our table yet ) and the chocolate milk had ice in it like a mixed drink ( you couldn't even stir it ). That was enough so we was out . Good luck with this place its a dive bar dressed up

The Goat serves such delicous food and has such a fun atmosphere!! The burgers, quesadillas and the bacon bucket are favorites and you can never go wrong with their breakfast!! The staff is so friendly and accomodating!! I need to mention the following talented and friendly bartenders and waitresses who have served us: Abby, Leah, Terry and Melina....and Larry and Eric are excellent managers!!!! We always feel special and get awesome service and the entertainment is so talented!! We definitely recommend and are frequent customers!!!

Decided to go to The Goat as a last minute choice. We were not let down in anyway imaginable. The atmosphere was so different, with a bar like feel and money scattering the walls with memories it get homemade. The food was amazing, we got a burger with sautéed onions and peppers, a fried egg and bacon and it was cooked to absolut perfection. The buffalo fries were also delicious!

Although staff was very nice and I did enjoy the atmosphere of the building, I feel as though the bartender was slightly under experienced (we were sitting at the upstairs bar), I Personally had only one drink that evening, and the group of friends I was with had not had more then two each as well (this was the first place we stopped for the night) She told one of my friends she was cutting him off because he had had to much to drink, that was not the case at all, but as someone who has worked in the industry for years, I knew she was only trying to do her job and may not be familiar with the bar scene yet. It was just a shame to see her letting good money walk out the door I personally thought. Other then that its a very nice starter place if you are out and about and looking for a causal place to grab a bite to eat.

Really good food with friendly and attentive service in a chill atmosphere. You can't go wrong with a burger and tots. If you can find space on the wall you can staple a dollar bill. They pass out sharpies and staplers witch is a fun way to crowd source decorations and let customers leave their personalized mark.

This is the place where you meet family & friends for drinks and dinner. Drinks.... as in anything you want, they will make you & they do so with a witty word and a friendly smile . One downside is if you choose to sit on the upstairs deck, you are limited to the bar upstairs, which had few selections. We couldn’t dine on the deck and order tap beer downstairs, which was odd, since the wait staff still had to go downstairs to get our food.

I have never had any food or drinks here but I am writing this review based on how I was treated when I tried to enter this bar. My friend is of oriental descent and they told her that she could not enter due to the fact that her eyes were “half closed”. My friend told the security member that that’s how she always looked and they repeatedly made racist remarks to her. I felt very uncomfortable about the things the specific woman who works there said and she said I was not allowed to enter due to the fact that I was wearing high heels and I was “wobbly” on the heels I was wearing. The woman and security member were absolutely intolerant and very hurtful to the people in line. The woman who worked there even had the audacity to push me aside to the point where I felt very unsafe and had to call the police. I rarely rate places this poorly but the way I was treated there I would advocate publicaly to never go to this place. I am going to write about this experience on my personal blog as well as the newspapaer. This place deserves to be closed down.

The food and atmosphere was awesome. It's a little tight in there but I assume when it's warm weather this isn't a problem. The only issue we had was that the online menu and menu at the restaurant were different. We had decided what we wanted before we went and had to change when we got there.

This place is more about the atmosphere, decor and the bar than the standard fried food fare on the menu. Come in and tack up a dollar bill with your most clever inscription possible. It took us a good 30 minutes to decide how we'd deface our single. Great atmosphere all around.
