I was extremely disappointed by the food. I haven’t left a review before, but I was so shocked by the food we were given from a place with 4 stars. I ordered orange chicken off of the “Thai ME Signature” section, and I was immediately let down. The breading wasn’t even on the chicken because it was so soggy, and for some reason it tasted and looked almost exactly like an Italian marinara sauce. The meat was really hard and dry and tasted like it was cooked in the microwave from a box. We picked it up at the time we were told to, so I didn’t think it would taste so old. It’s not fair to judge a sit-down restaurant on their takeout, but this specific dish was really bad, especially for the upscale looks of the dining area (it came with baby carrots cut in half). We also ordered two pad thai dishes with the spiciest level of heat and they didn’t add any spiciness to the sauce by accident, but the pad thai itself was really good! Overall, my meal the worst takeout food I’ve ever gotten, but the other meals were good and the staff was friendly, so I will give them credit for that.

Our experience has always been positive with Thai Mai. When placing a delivery order recently, the amount was more expensive than what I anticipated and I cancelled the order and hung up. About an hour later the delivery person showed up at our door; thinking we cancelled the order we advised him we didn't order anything. It wasn't until I looked at my phone and saw the missed messages that I realized the delivery person was from the restaurant. I called him back and had him return to our residence and explained the situation and apologized. The delivery person was so gracious and professional; something I didn't expect after the situation, but appreciated. They even gave us a gift certificate for what they perceived as inconveniencing us, however, it was a mutual misunderstanding. We will definitely return and have and will continue to recommend Thai Mai to others.

Thai ME is a great place to get Thai food in Biddeford. It has a wide variety of choices, and has a few gluten free options as well (including some of the Pad Thai). The price may be slightly higher than you expect, but the serving size is quite large, I usually have enough left over for the next day. Thai ME also does take out, which has been a convenient option on several occasions.

Love this place! My friends and I go there quite often. Their food and service is always consistently good. Update 08/18/2013: We had a large group of people (14 people) and I was amazed by how great their service was. There were 3-4 other tables in the restaurant, but they handled our large group really well. Everything came really quickly and the waitress did a great job separating our orders and bills. Everyone ordered appetizers/sushi along with our entree and we were able to finish our meal is about 1.5 hours.

Best Thai in Southern Maine! The ingredients are always fresh and the food isn't laced with copious amounts of sugar, MSG, or anything else that doesn't belong in food that on it's own is yummy. The curries, pad Thai, Tom kha soup, and General Tso chicken are favs. The decor is cute and clean and parking is never a problem.

Really delicious. The crab Rangoon was full of crab (more than any other place we've been) and delicious. Mango curry was dreamy. Drinks were fabulous. Only downside of the whole meal was the Pad Thai was a bit heavy for my taste. Edit: Downgrading one star for consistency. We took a friend there recently because we had liked it so much and all of the meat was overcooked, the fried rice flavorless, and the sauce on another dish WAY too sweet. It was our first negative experience so there may be some inconsistency in the kitchen staff. Presentation was still beautiful but flavor lacking.

They're food is good, but they've gone down hill recently. I like that they use recycled plastics for their take out and delivery containers, but for the quality they're heading towards the prices might not be worth it anymore.

Tonight, after an extremely hard and long day, we ordered two pad thai’s and one spring roll with shrimp. The spring roll had no shrimp, and the two dishes were ordered one with two stars and one without. The one without was for me, 19 weeks pregnant and can’t eat spice due to severe heartburn. When we opened our bag, one was labeled two stars and the second was labeled one star, both looking the exact same. Again, we order 2 stars and ZERO stars. I tried to eat it and simply could not because it was extremely spicy. When I called, a gentleman answered and proceeded to tell me that it absolutely didn’t have spice on it because he packed it himself - yet it was labeled 1 star? Did you taste it sir? I don’t think so. I told him he had no place telling me it had no spice when I absolutely could not eat it. I work in the service industry and try my best to rectify any wrongdoing that may have occurred. This man did not even attempt to make the situation better. We absolutely will not be back and I will be telling everyone we know to go elsewhere. Shame on you for your horrendous customer service.

Lo mein noodles had weird texture hard to chew. The pad thai was supper sweet almost tasted like orange chicken. Some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten in my life and I eat this all the time.

The owner is very rude and far from professional. I have had numerous occasion where my food was made wrong, and i was pretty much told oh well. I highly recommend avoiding this place due to lack of care for their customers, and extreme lack of respect.

Having come back to Biddeford after a few years, one of the first things I was looking forward to do was paying a visit to this establishment. Thai Me brings forth food and tastes in a combination I have rarely seen at any other restaurant. From its chive cakes to a variety of fried rice, this is the place to be.

i use to really love thai me but that last couple of times weve ordered the chicken in the pad see ew & panang have been so tough they aren't chewable. wish they had fresher ingredients & were more authentic. pretty decent food for the area, get the tofu or hells beef

Wow, this is my new favorite Thai place. Cozy, nicely decorated restaurant. The service was great and the food was so good (and I'm from NYC). We started with Thai teas served in cool case-like glasses and the Maine Crab Rangoon - what a treat! Then we shared the Mango Crispy Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. Now I know where to go in Saco the next time I visit :)

Had the mango chicken, general tso chicken, egg fried rice (absolutely amazing) some super thin noodles, coconut shrimp and crab rangoons (my favorite of everything) Everything was presented great, fair portions, hot, and very good service.

Live in Biddeford and tried the place 3 times, because it's close, or another place was closed unexpectedly... Anyway, I think the fresh spring rolls are over-priced, the Tom Yum has a decent broth, but other than the broth is just pieces of chicken and mushrooms... maybe that's standard, but didn't do it for me. Tried a chicken dish another time and disappointed. Tonight the place smelled. Seemed to be the bathroom which is right near the entrance. Place has never made me sick, but it's my last favorite Thai place ever. Sorry Thai Me, but you really need to up your game.

I normally order take out and the food is great. Haven't seen my friends in a long time we all went to Thai me to dine in and catch up, but the service was terrible. One order was wrong the group waited another 20-30 minutes for them to fix her meal as the rest of ours became cold due to waiting. No drinks were offered to our table of 5 which I found odd water was poured but no one returned to refill once dinner was brought to the table. My friend had to ask to waiter if she could order a drink that isn't water. No one even came to check on us to see if our food was ok. Another meal was also incorrect but she didn't want to complain and wait another 30 minutes for them to fix the meal. Very disappointing on top of that they messed up a few of tips given adding dollar amounts than what was written in.

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and haven't seen too many Thai places so I was excited to try Thai ME as the two places I tried in Scarborough were fairly disappointing. The food was decent as were the prices. Service was great very prompt and friendly. I don't know if I'm spoiled because of the great places I'm used to in Portland or what but I have some higher expectations. It maybe worth trying again and getting something different.
