The ONLY saving grace of this place is it had quick service. After that good goes right out the window. Let me start on the environment. While it seems clean, there were more then FIVE flies flying around my table at one time. Makes me wonder what’s going on for so many to be flying around! Next up, the size of the drinks. The water cups they give you when you walk in made me think it was some kind of a joke. They’re about three and a half inches tall and they fill it with ice, so it finishes quickly and you have to get another one. The “large” (as the waitress called them) cups are maybe 6 inches tall, also filled with ice, so the same thing applies to these. Apparently there aren’t free refills, so you have to order another and jack up your bill. On to the main course: food. I ordered the “fresh” Haddock burger basket. What I recieved was actually insulting. I got a cold, crunchy fish (probably wasn’t even haddock) that was slapped haphazardly between two stale plain burger buns, with fries scattered randomly around my plate. To top it off, I was given a small plastic tub of KRAFT tartar sauce, still in its tub with the logo proudly displayed. I understand that restaurants have to get by, but at least try to hide the fact that you go to the 99¢ store to get your condiments! Speaking of store bought, that’s what my haddock burger tasted like. I’m sure behind the kitchen doors they had frozen fish sitting in the freezer in whatever store brand box they came from. The entire time I ate I was pestered by the flies that I mentioned prior. They tried to land on my food and on my drink several times. I probably spent more times swatting flies then eating. So now that’s out of the way, would you like to know how much this excellent meal cost? A whopping $10.30. For $10.30 I should’ve expected it to be the best haddock I ever tasted. Guess that was wishful thinking. In the end, please go to a McDonald’s or something and save yourself the stress and embarrassment of getting servered something that belongs in a high school cafeteria.
