Very friendly & accommodating server, Ally We went around 2:30 pm and it wasn't busy. They're currently renovating the lower part of the restaurant so we ate upstairs that had a beautiful view of the water and the lighthouse on Goat Island. Order: Clam Chowder $9 - good portion, left me satisfied & full , plenty of clams & not too creamy, loved that it wasn't a thick consistency chowder Onion Strings $11 - loved how it was thin - it was so delicious that I didn't really use the bbq sauce it came with ***NO military discount***

October 17, 2017 My wife Dianne had dinner at the RAMP Bar & Grill this evening. We love this place, it is small, comfortable, generally the customers are friendly and happy. And the food is very good to excellent. The employees are professional, fun & customer focused. Tonight Matt was the bartender and Cantle taking care of the customers who we dining at the tables. The place filled up and as customers left new customers quickly filled the empty tables. We were amazed how two people handled the full house with Cantle taking drink orders then clearing tables and taking desert orders and more. Matt was doing great with drink orders and taking care of a full crowd at the bar, most having dinner as well. Matt and Cantle worked as a terrific team. With just the two of them running the pub, the atmosphere was relaxing. Dianne and I enjoyed a hour and a half of great service and great food. Cantle and Matt were fantastic.

I can only review our experience today. I am from Maine and my friend from NH (locals) and we decided to give this restaurant a try. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient .... however, the food was horrible and it was a total waste of money. I ordered the 'Chile Lime Shrimp Wrap' ... 95% of the wrap was spinach ... got two shrimp and the avocado and tomato salsa were pretty non-existent. My friend ordered the 'Burrata Grilled Peach Salad ... again, mostly all greens and not what was expected. Sorry, but we will never return.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. rude servers. had us wait OVER AN HOUR when they said the wait would be twenty minutes. they didn't apologize AND they seated people before us. they seated us at a small, wobbly table that would be better for one person instead of three. the environment is also unpleasant. there are flies everywhere. it's loud and has very ugly decor. this is more like a man cave instead of a restaurant. IT IS FILLED WITH NEGATIVE ENERGY. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I visited The Ramp for the first and last time yesterday with my sister who was visiting from Ireland and my cousin who lives in Maine .Clam chowder was a tan color that looked like glue was tasteless and gelatinous with few clams . Onion rings and french fries were extremely salty ,we had fish and chips, the batter inedible but the fish was good when batter removed .My cousin had a lobster salad and had difficulty finding the lobster .??? I mentioned to the waitress how salty the food was and her response was I will tell the chef .My cousin was paying for the lunch so I did not want to embarrass her by complaining or returning the food ,it was obvious by the food remaining on the plates ..I have had meals out in Maine several times over the years and was expecting a high standard on seafood but this meal left a lot to be desired . Its only the beginning of the season ???

Cool and unique place to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The potato chips (crisps) are unbeatable. While you can't go wrong, the Portuguese style muscles are one of my favorite items on the menu. I've also had some fantastic daily specials. While The Ramp is too good to give any less than maximum stars, be warned, the coffee is terrible. It's like a bad joke and it pains me to witness people ordering it but it kinda suits the campy demeanor of the place. I kinda wish they kept some instant around... just for particularly good customers.

my favorite spot in kennebunkport. been coming here for years. unbeatable location on cape porpoise harbor with a view of the sunset. political and sports memorabilia worth a visit on its own. food is great but only part of the allure. some say the kitchen has lost a step under new management but if so it hardly changes the draw. long lines in season but put your name on the list and get a drink and sit outside and watch the sunset. it’s worth the wait.

Food was excellent...as always!!! Our server Allie was EXCELLENT!!!! My husband and I each had a bowl of soup & split a sandwich. Each 1/2 of the sandwich was brought out on it’s own plate with fries in which we didn’t expect as we were sharing. Our server Allie asked them to do this!!! She was very attentive to us as well as everyone that came in & was the only server on duty! Great job Allie!

Beautiful pier and a beautiful restaurant. This place has the best decor in a lobster shack: lots of buoys, ropes, and lobster traps. The drinks were excellent, my negroni was well mixed. There was a short wait but the patio was comfortable and social. We started with the Mediterranean salad which was pretty good but could have used more cucumber. The falafel was baked and not quite crispy enough. My wife and I each had a lobster roll. The bun was perfectly toasted in butter. The roll was delicious, but I felt the lobster was a little over-dressed with mayo, onion, celery to the point that it almost tasted like tuna salad. The lobster should stand on its own. Overall an excellent experience with very friendly staff.
