I absolutely love Quiero Cafe. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The cafe is decorated beautifully and staff is always super friendly. The menu options are really interesting and don’t seem to be Americanized, which is hard to come by. Highly recommend the puerco empanadas!

I had two empanadas and one was practically empty :( pretty much just a shell, the other one wasn't as bad. Not as much filling as I had their last year but perhaps it was just a bad day. My juice drink was plentiful and good.

Never expected to find this cozy Colombian restaurant in Saco, ME. The cuisine reminds me of street food with high quality ingredients. Their empanadas are actually very nice, not greasy and with a wide variety of fillings. Each empanada shell is stamped with what the filling is - beef, chorizo, pork, chicken etc. These are far better than any Mexican empanadas I've eaten! The place is very child friendly. We were here with my 15 month old granddaughter and she had a blast cruising around the spacious seating area. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The huge Colombian hot dogs were delicious!

Love the maracuya drink, is passion fruit, love it, t h e empanadas are yummy, love the carne and puerco empanada. The ambience is awesome, owners are great, great service, and really the only place in this area that has some Spanish, not Mexican flavors. Try the sauces, garlic. Chipotle are my Fav.

One of my favorite places to get food from since I moved to Saco. I love how the empanadas have the flavor printed on them and I can stop ordering the fried cheese. I have personally ordered a few different smoothies which I have been happy with and my partner orders the iced coffees which he loves. It has such a nice atmosphere and I wish I could eat here more

Really delicious. Everything was super fresh and house made. We've eaten here twice now getting different things and it's just amazing food. They also have non dairy options, gluten free options and vegetarian and vegan options. They really cater to everyone. Hubby loves their empanadas and I really love their fried plantains in all their shapes and forms. Especially the patacon. I also had their mango margarita and it was delicious made with fresh mangoes. I want to be upset about how difficult it was too drink at the end with all the fresh muddled mangoes but I just can't. It ended up the perfect dessert at the end of the drink: boozy mango. I was also very impressed by all the little ways they were environmentally sustainable.

Cute cafe with unique offerings for the area. I just stopped in for a quick snack, not a meal. It was a hot day so I got the Rosa smoothie, and it was great. They have some pastries and desserts, as well as different granola bars, in addition to the menu items. Not sure if I'd pick this place if I had a big appetite, seems more like a 'small bites' type of place, but I do want to come back to try more!

This is a delightful little breakfast and lunch place featuring mostly Colombian specialties. Prices are reasonable and the food is really good. Specialties to go for include authentic Colombian patacones and Cuban sandwich. I so wish they would expand their hours to include evenings, but breakfast to 2:00 PM seems just about standard around here.

This is a new place in downtown Saco, around the corner from Rapid Ray's. Open and loft style feel with a friendly staff and big restroom. There's even a place in the back corner where you could catch up on work. I had $3 empanadas that were pretty delicious! I'm looking forward to visiting again!

The food ranges from good to OK. Going there is mostly about nostalgia for me because I'm South American. I like the menu and all of the drink options. The coffee is good. The space is nicely decorated and has a good feel to it. That makes it a great place to hang out. The owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming. I've gone in by myself with my baby had they hold the door for me and bring me books to read to him. I liked the patacon way better than the empanadas. But I think they are Argentinian empanadas maybe? I prefer the shell made out of corn masa rather than baked wheat dough.

If you're looking for Cuban cuisine this is a good place to go. The staff here is very friendly and the food was not disappointing! Except the one time they added pickles to something I didn't see coming! I just happened to be disgusted by pickles and they jumped right on making me a new meal at no cost! Nice little cafe in downtown Saco. So far what I've tried has been amazing. There yucca fries are absolutely delicious and the sweet corn arepa is bliss. The coconut limeade was the perfect summer drink. There are a few tables you can sit at, but this is mostly a takeout option, which is perfect for lunch or dinner on the way home. Service was quick and the prices aren't ridiculous.

It's nice to see another cafe enter the area. Quiero cafe features some delicious food and drink. The employees are very friendly and it's a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The biggest downside to the place is there is no dedicated parking and it can be tough to find a spot, depending on the time of your visit. If you find a place to park, it's well worth the visit.
