Has been a fan for 10+ years. House fried rice(ask for Brown rice) is A+. The staff recommend the Empress Shrimp and Galaxy trio. Mapo Tofu is also a good one(5* hot makes it yum). The master chef is from Taiwan and he does make the meat, Chicken and Shrimp have a silky smooth texture to them!

Went with the family tonight. The food is 10/10, particularly compared to other restaurants with a similar culinary dossier. Wait staff 10/10. Booths would be nice. Tables only but you can't have every thing...where would you put it?

Steak strips tasted rotted. Crab Rangoon was shriveled, dry and chewy. Used to be good food, and used to eat there a lot, but 2 out of the last 3 times there, the food has been very sub par. Time for an extended break from this place.

I have eaten here MANY times, it is now my go to Chinese food place here in portland. I have tried many dishes and not once have i been disappointed. Most the time i just get take out, but the one time i dined in it was great, the decor of the place is fantastic, specially the fish tanks, they are gorgeous!! The service was good and they were all very pleasant, and as always the food was great!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for chinese food!!

Our waiter was impatient, pushy and when we didnt understand he was not willing to explain when asked he was very snippy when food came it was way to cooled off the amount of food was small compared to price. First time there and will not go back!

The staff was very kind and listened well, and they gave me coupons for when i return. The decor was quite splendid, especially the fishtanks. I received a take out meal and did not have to wait more than 10minutes to receive everything I ordered. Even though it took me 40minutes to get home and eat, it was the best food I've had in a long while. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is actually the best crab rangoon I’ve had yet! The filling is packed with flavor and the outside is perfectly fried! Very quick service and everything was fresh. The host greeted me immediately and was very kind. Love it!

Absolutely amazing, first time here and is by far the best I've ever had. We came on late in the evening during the snowstorm before valentines day, and the food was so fresh and delicious. My GF is a crab rangoon addict and she was floored at the flavor and texture offered in these little golden treats. The beef teriyaki was to die for, the rice so fresh and delicious, I've not a single complaint from first walking in to walking out completely full and with leftovers. The plate representation was truly beautiful, I cannot stress enough how well decorated every plate was. If you're in the area and are craving Chinese food out of this world full of color,flavor and taste do yourself and family a favor and take them here. I live nearly 2hrs north of here, and we WILL be back again even if it's a day trip planned here for lunch and some walks on the beach. Thank you so much Panda Garden for such an amazing evening with my love. I wish you and your family the BEST, I will forever remember my first visit here at your restaurant.

Greasy 'Americanized' Chinese food. Pretty much what you'd expect getting Chinese takeout. Restaurant itself is pretty nice, has a relaxing vibe. Overall it's just OK. First time I ate here I got food poisoning from some fatty chicken, but after that I have been fine each time so I'll chalk it up to a bad batch. Be warned though, their chicken is still fatty.

You don't stay around for 30 years in this foodie area and not have a quality product. Panda Garden's cuisine is fresh, professionally prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. Plus, the prices are more than reasonable and the pleasant ambiance enhanced by the most beautiful fish tanks around. The service is right on the button, too. Family businesses like this deserve our patronage. See you there!

I orded the Kung Pao chicken for $12. It was just one small tray that was literally more peanuts than chicken and the chicken was average quality. What they gave me was worth $5 or $6 max. I don't understand how places like this are still in business, these prices are completely insane. Absolute ripoff, don't bother.

For a Chinese restaurant in Maine it is one of the best. Our kid was spoiled rotten with coloring books, cocktail mermaids, and cookies at the end. Food was descent and we got $3 in "Panda bucks" which means we are definitely going back. :D

Wow was I disappointed, I ordered sesame chicken last week after reading the reviews. It was horrible..........and the sad thing, it was overpriced compared to other places in Portland. I even thought the staff was rude........never again

I always order the same thing here: General Tso's tofu, sweet & sour chicken and vegetable fried rice. It's great! I've also had the Lo Mein noodles which are good. My partner gets the Won Ton Soup which he said is very good. This is my go to Chinese restaurant because it's never too full, the food I get is good, and one of the guys there is very nice and has given my son a free Shirley Temple drink a few times. Also during Christmas they give out the candy canes to the kids from the Christmas tree. (Warning- the first time I went here I ordered the wrong stuff which I didnt think was good at all! I almost didn't go back. I'm so happy I gave this place another shot!)

Great wonton soup. 3 adorable little dumplings in the best broth. Amazing crunchy chips dipped in duck sauce. Get it to go tho. The atmosphere is to up tight feeling, the servers are not very polite. Quick.to fast paced. Generals tso is also awesome. Cute Nemo and Dory fish.
