Everything about Old Vines is fantastic! The owner is honestly one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet, and his combination of positivity and professionalism carries on into their entire staff, and everything they do. They are tremendously friendly, experienced, and creative, and it shows. The unique menu of appetizers, small plates, selection of cheeses, salads, and pizzas, are paired extremely well with their eclectic wine list, and diverse cocktail menu. This is a must stop if you are in Kennebunk, or Kennebunkport!

My wife, family, and friends go here on Mondays for service night. The food is always fresh, consistent, and delicious. We've had many different servers and the service is always great. Overall, this restaurant is expertly run and I highly recommend it.

Nicely decorated, good food and helpful staff. Small 'by the glass' selection of wines. We sat inside and the noise level meant that you needed to raise you voice to be heard over the din. I would definitely go back, but would arrive early enough to get a seat on the patio.

This place has the feel of a nice neighborhood place, Comfortable and cozy place to meet friends. You can enjoy a glass of wine with friends inside or out in the fresh air and then take a bottle back to your seaside room at the local B&B. A really good selection is available here and I bet you'll be delighted with anything you try here.

As part of a family trip to Kennebunkport to celebrate a birthday, we did the small group cocktail class at Old Vines Wine Bar and had a fantastic time! Would highly recommend that activity as something to do, especially on a day when the weather is such that it’s bettee to be inside than out. Aiden was our bartender and had a lot of fun with us. The food and cocktails were great, too!

Lovely atmosphere and nice selection of cocktails and wine. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you are celiac, this is gluten-friendly and they have a dedicated GF fryer. The serving sizes were generous, even for small plates. I didn’t give 5 stars because our filet came well done when we requested medium and if you want items perfectly timed it doesn’t happen. Very casual and comfortable. We will return.

We really liked this new wine bar in the lower village of Kennebunk. Good service, and lots of wines at very reasonable prices ($7.00 - $7.50 a glass). They also serve light fare. We had a small cheese plate, which comes with grilled bread and almonds. The wine bar is in a beautifully renovated space. This is a pefect spot for a date or to meet a friend for a glass of wine and a snack. We had a great experience there.

Excellent service here. We got a very warm welcome and the staff was very accommodating at finding us a table so that we could be near the live music. The staff was very knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. There are happy hour specials available and uncertain nights live music. We very much enjoyed the appetizers as well as the Greek board. Can definitely recommend this place.

Came to the Old Vines Wine Bar for Friday night happy hour… It was super crowded on the main floor so we went upstairs to the bar & dining room. We were met by the bartender, Aiden and a couple of other friendly waitstaff. We had the happy hour wine which is 50% off any glass of wine & a delicious cheeseboard.It was a great experience as always. I highly recommend that you try Old Vines Wine Bar out soon!

Old Vines has been our go-to local place for a couple of years. It was going to close after Prelude 2015, but a couple of great guys stepped up and have created an incredible location to have great creative cocktails and amazing wines hand-picked by the staff. To top it off, their new chef has tweaked the standbys, and added a couple incredible new dishes. Not that I want to have to fight harder for a place to sit, but, if you're in Kennebunk or Kennebunkport, this is *not* a place to skip.

$$$$ but worth it. Beautifully staged restaurant with both communal farm tables are normal tables. Wine and cocktail menu is out of this world and somewhat reasonably priced. Try the Bees Knees drink..its small batch gin that is so incredibly smooth. Food is small bites, and all perfectly cooked. We (3 adults) got calamari, filet, halibut and duck. Lovely evening out on the lit patio.

Very very nice spot with tapas style dishes. Amazing food! The flavors were great! The place was a little small and the tables were really close together but it had a nice friendly feel. We went in the evening for dinner around 7 so it was a bit crowded but our wait was only 10 minutes. The lighting was nice and dim for a relaxed feel. They also have a nice outdoor area with tables and a fire pit but it was a little too chilly to enjoy that. The staff were all super great and accommodating. The bathroom was very clean and nice. Pleasant time had by all!

I love this place! They have an impressive selection of wines, along with fancy craft cocktails. Everyone I have ever taken here has thoroughly enjoyed it. They also serve some food, but I have never tried it. The bar itself is also super inviting, with comfy seating and a modern barn sorta feel. Definitely worth a visit during your next trip to Dock square!

Cocktails intéressants, belle sélection de vins, alcools et bières. Musique et petit band. Puisque la saison touristique était terminée, l'endroit était tout ce qu'on recherche d'un bar local. Grande terrasse extérieure, bien situé. Les propriétaires étaient cordiaux. J'y retournerai lors de ma prochaine visite dans le Maine.
