This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. My wife and I decided to go here for our first dinner as a newlywed couple and we were welcome by such a beautiful and romantic venue. The dining area just takes your breath away and the mood is very relaxed. Our host and servers were attentive and informative. The food. Period. This was one of the best meals I have had in my life. Course after course just progressed into a new and wonderful culinary adventure. This is easily a two star destination restaurant. I would not be surprised to hear the Michelin Guide give it a few stars in the future. Phenomenal work by Chefs Chris Long and Shelby Stevens.

Natalie's is a high end restaurant located in the Camden harbour inn. The menu contains three Prix fixe options: four course menu, a five course lobster tasting menu, and so called Beard menu where the options from the four cause menu are preselected. We went with the lobster menu which was $119 for five courses without wine. The dishes are very creative and beautifully presented. I enjoyed the flavor combinations. The service was very attentive. This this a nice place for a special occasion.

Spectacular food, service, and setting. For sure the best in the region. Had a better and more pleasing meal that I had in many big sophisticated cities in New England. Highly recommend. Beware, fixed menu only. Not a cheap option.

The food was exquisite and the staff was 2nd to none. We stayed for two nights and the staff knew us on a first name basis. Sean was extremely helpful and accommodated our needs. I would definitely reccomend staying here at the hotel and dining at Natalie's.

Service & atmosphere were great... But food quality didn't match those, specially considering the prices.

Unfortunately the food did not match the staff, setting and prices. Staff were wonderful and attentive. The food needs significant improvement with less focus on flashy presentation and complexity, with more focus on taste and reasonable portion sizes. Owners need to visit the French Laundry and make some changes...

Excellent fine dining experience. Great vegetarian prix fixe and well chosen wine pairing. Extra thumbs up for the awesome sommelier!

Great Food, Attentive Service.

Natalie's is a terrific restaurant but very expensive for Maine. We had the five course lobster tasting menu. Each dish was very innovative. Dinner for two with tax and tip was $320, we don't drink so that was with no alcohol.

Honestly from beginning to end an amazing experience. I suggest anyone who eats here take 2 or 3 hours and do the course menu. I promise you will leave with no regrets. The techniques used in this kitchen are few and far between in Maine restaurants. Wait staff is on point, attentive and knowledgeable. Glass never empty and every member of the front of the house made sure to be a part of our experience. As a chef I never leave reviews, I fell this place earned the right to change my mind. I will be back again without a doubt. I get 4 days off a month, I plan on spending at least one of those days at Natalie's.

My best food experience ever! We were served the most delicious food in Maine! Highly recommend Natalie's of Camden! James was incredible. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Delicious lobster tasting menu. Never tried anything else. Funny scene, like you're in your parent's country club but a cooler talented chef took over the kitchen for a night. Some diners take this place VERY seriously

Last night we had an extraordinary meal at Natalie's. The food, wine, and service were all perfect; we were treated to the nines by everyone. The experience of sublimely crafted food is a very special one, and we will remember this dinner with delight. Thank you!

New Year's Eve 2012 - quite a disaster. My wife and I went to the 8 PM seating for the 8-course meal and the first course wasn't served until 9:40. Our drink order didn't come out for 30 minutes and it was incorrect. The entree wasn't served until 11:45. They obviously had a meltdown somewhere but the worst part was they did not even acknowledge there was a problem nor make any effort to address it. The management was non-existent in this regard and the staff was clearly just trying to make it through the evening. While the food was generally good, it was extremely overpriced and I would not recommend Natalie's nor will I return. Very Disappointing to say the least.

Classy, romantic spot. Excellent food and service. Expensive.

We were guests at Camden Harbor Inn and it was very appealing to see that the Inn had such a high caliber restaurant that would accommodate my soy allergy and my dad’s vegan diet. We had not planned on eating more than the complimentary breakfast in the restaurant every day, but it was so delicious that we kept going back! The restaurant has a sommelier named Greg who is incredibly helpful and patient with us!! Nick was a standout server as well! We did have our Thanksgiving meal at Natalie’s which was nouveau with a traditional third course of turkey. Apparently the locals go there for their special occasions too because it was very busy!! We highly recommend Natalie’s!!

A group of 5 of us who haven’t seen each other in years all met at our friends house in Camden. One of our friends actually flew in from San Francisco the previous day. We had a great time catching up and the evening flew by. We had no groceries and were all hungry. We called Natalie’s within an hour of closing and a gentleman named Mike (I believe) answered. He said he would take care of us in the “lounge.” We all felt terrible that we were coming so late and were under dressed since we sprinted to the restaurant straight from sailing. Mike provided 5 star service, making us feel as we were the most important guests in the building. He provided us the bar menu and walked us through everything as if we were there for 5pm dinner. The food was fantastic, but Mike made the experience. Thanks Mike.

Great experience. Great food. Great service!

The service, food, and wine were all top-notch. We both had the pre fixe option with the premium wine pairing and loved every second. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and expertly paired every course. We ate on the patio overlooking the harbor and hills. Perfect.

Fabulous dining experience. Very elegant. Plan on this meal taking at least an hour or two; it is meant to be cherished slowly. Each course was an experience of its own. Staff is friendly and the food was a delicious adventure. Highly recommended!

Extraordinary food for sure. They forgot the food was supposed to taste good! 9 course meal 3 being entrails. This was supposed to be one of our highlights in Maine, clearly a bad experience for us. We laugh today suggesting the chefs and owners are hiding around the corner laughing about how they have fooled people into eating what we would have thrown to the hogs and getting them to praise them as if they have ever eaten in good nice restaurants. Ate here last year...better to go to White Barn in Kennebunkport...done right there.

Really fantastic spot. So many perfect parts to the evening, not the least of which was much of the food. The rib eye main course was the highlight of the evening, with a perfect beet-tofu companion. Squash soup, and pork pasta starter, were also highlights. The smoky maple dessert stirred conversation; I thought it was a brilliantly executed combination of flavors, while others weren't in love. The maitake starter also left a divided table. The only miss was the brussles sprouts gnocchi. The cocktails were perfect, and the bartender received feedback and adjusted beautifully. Sven the host made us feel welcome literally as soon as we walked in the door. The rest of the service staff was also on point, yet for the price I expected truly fine service: Reaching across me to place a fork instead of going around the table is a little detail that has to be nailed for the price. And the server grating the cheese used the cheese plate to push one of our forks across the table, an inexcusable error. Our server was on the job for only a couple weeks yet was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, well done to her. Though I didn't need to hear "this is going to be a unique experience" from the staff as many times as we did, we just needed everyone to deliver. Ultimately the meal is priced comparably, if not a bit higher, than 5-star meals elsewhere in New England (Chillingsworth) and across the country at this level. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars, but I'm going with 4 as the price mandates a slightly more perfect experience. Still, if you're looking for a special meal in Camden it's definitely worth a trip.

On a cool spring evening in early May, my husband and I ventured to Camden for a dining experience. We stepped up to the bar at Natalie’s and were warmly greeted by Michael, the bartender. He was extremely knowledgeable about the libations and also the dining menu. We enjoyed the bread presentation, the molded butter balls were flavored with our choice of specialty salts from Portland Maine, our favorite was the ghost pepper. The depth of flavor of the lobster stew was a journey that we were glad we took and the rest of the meal was memorable, we can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful restaurant and we had a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend. Also a great stay at the Camden Harbour Inn. We will definitely visit again as we love the place and the people.

Lovely setting, beautiful presentation. Very pricey and kind of pretentious. The food was good but definitely did not warrant the price-tag.

By far the most amazing dinner ever. The atmosphere along with the very professional yet friendly staff make this a night to remember. Now on to the food.... Where do I start....The local oysters are to die for. The crispy truffle fries served with Truffle Aioli and Parmesan Cheese will make you never look at ordinary fries again. The salads and steak and desserts are a culinary masterpiece. This is a "must try" that should be on everyone's list.

This was the best dining experience I have had in years. The service was good. The items recommended were great. The atmosphere nice. But the food was memorable. I had a truffle infused panna cotta that I can still taste. Likewise the squid. I had a key lime dessert which, likewise, I can still taste. It was amazing, and this was after having gorged on my and my wife's pre dessert dessert. The crust was a hard graham crust. It was tasty but I would have preferred a softer crust. The bread tasted like it had just been cooked. It was warm, and tasty Best of all I did not feel rushed. We were there over three hours. The meal was not cheap but it was a bargain I have never posted anything. But this restaurant was just st the best

Expensive & Exquisite My husband & I had our Thanksgiving dinner here with a 4:00 reservation. We arrived at 3:50 and were told to wait in a lovely room with a large fireplace. There were many people waiting to be seated but everyone seemed to be enjoying the fire & ambience. When we were seated it took a while to order our drinks but it was obvious the staff had many people to accommodate at the same time. The wait staff were all handsome men who knew the menu & enough about wine to help us decide. It was a prefix menu with five courses. The food, service, music, and atmosphere were exquisite. The presentation was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. Allow at least three hours to enjoy the experience. FIVE STARS to the chef.

Absolutely the very best in Maine and beyond. Dinner was extraordinary and service the very best we encountered ever. Not inexpensive but worth every penny!

We had the lobster tasting and wine pairing, which was probably the most expensive meal I have ever had in my life... but it was completely amazing. The taste and presentation of the food, the surroundings, service, and wine pairings were all superb. Natalie's is a definite must when visiting mid-coast Maine.

The food, staff and atmosphere here is amazing (drinks too) I’ve been to a few places in Camden and is one of the best around. Everything is delicious and they take even simple things, like fries, and take it to another level. I can’t pick one thing I had as my favorite because they all were good. So no matter what you decide to eat here just know it will be better than what you expect it will be like.

M. C. Casterline

Food is excellent, service was great until about 1/2 way through the dinner. We had the exact same experience several years ago which is why we stopped going there. Cocktails were perfect too. Maybe if you eat at 5 there's a difference. I don't know because we never eat dinner that early, nor will we.

This was the best meal I have had in many years. The people were wonderful, and the food was exquisite. The flavors were robust, the textures were varied, and the taste of everything was a luscious adventure, from the amuse bouche to the fresh, dreamy dessert. Can't wait to go back!

To be very clear, Natalie's is not only one of the best dining experiences in Maine. It's one of the best in the country. And we have eaten at high-end restaurants all over the country. We chose Natalie's as part of our honeymoon dinner weeks ago. They not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. It wasn't enough for the staff to make us feel like a million dollars, we felt like 10 million - from the moment we walked in to the moment we left (and we didn't want to leave). High-level professionalism throughout the entire time we were there, unpretentious, high-level service, high-level execution from the executive chef team, ingenious menu choices. Everything was precise and spot on. The design and purpose of this establishment was centered around making us feel special and comfortable. We had the 7 course tasting menu- outstanding. And we went with the wine tasting to accompany- outstanding (and highly recommended). We can't be more pleased with Natalie's. It's more exciting every time we re-live the experience telling to friends. Anyone who appreciates good food and great service and hasn't been to Natalie's?... this is where you need to go.

Service was great just a little above my class level Ml

Two in our party ordered a rib eye course. The beef was tough. When we brought this to the attention of the waiter, he pushed back saying that rib eye was always tough. No sympathy. The waiter stopped being all smiles after that. In addition, I ordered a Rose that was $16 a glass. The waiter poured me a different rose telling me that they were out of the one I ordered. The one he poured was $20, a fact I discovered only when I got the bill. The service was well below what I would have expected even from a restaurant at half the price.
