Went there yesterday with my teen daughter for a late lunch on the motorcycle. The food was very good and the staff very pleasant. I had the pulled pork sandwich that came with fries and cole slaw. My daughter had the cheesburger with fries. I received a big heap of pulled pork with a tasty homemade sauce that was a little spicy and not too heavy or overpowering which I liked a lot. The cole slaw also seems homemade, not a bunch of mayo, just well seasoned and tasty. My daughter's burger looked good and she said she liked it. I am pleased with the value (cost for what we got).

Normally good, my prime rib was tough, almost as if it had been beat up in a bar fight. They also need to upgrade their steak knives, half the battle was trying to cut through the prime rib. Awful.

Hidden away in Cornish, about 45 mins from Portland, is a great restaurant. We have been here for breakfast and lunch and have not been dissapointed. The food portions are almost too large, the service is exceptional. Everything we have ordered here was clearly made with love (one of the most important qualities of restaurant food). It is worth the drive from Portland to go here. That is truly a compliment considering the competition.

We came here a year ago but had to leave before we ordered because my husband was not feeling well. We're from out of state so I'd been waiting a year to come back. Krista's was worth the wait. The food is fabulous and the service is outstanding. They didn't have any problem swapping out some topping on my marinated Portabella mushroom sandwich. My husband said his burger was probably the best he has ever had in his life! Big compliment from a guy that doesn't say much about his food. Outstanding! Hats off to Krista's

Krista's is a gem in Maine. From the outside it is just a small town restaurant. Inside however is a wonderful establishment with a great feel and fantastic food. Comfort food and remastered classics. The desert tray hits home for the sweet tooth fan. The staff was super friendly. Our waitress, Aiden, was simply the best. Friendly, helpful and polite. She was awesome. Her recommendations were spot on to our tastes. If you don't eat at Krista's, you do yourself a disservice.

After seeing all the excellent reviews we decided to stop here for breakfast. They must only be great at the baked goods because my husbands hash was burnt, almost charcoal like and my cheddar cheese was also hard as a rock on my potatoes. Pretty disappointed. The homemade bread was good though.

What a delightful restaurant! I went with my mom who uses a walker and the staff bent over backwards to help her and make her comfortable. The food was delicious with generous servings. Their bread is to die for. My mom had the soup of the day (white bean chicken) ; thick, loaded with beans, chicken and vegetables. I had the "poultrygeist" with Thai peanut sauce. Perfectly made crispy chicken on a sturdy roll with lettuce, tomato and red onion. Plus the spicy sauce. Very good! We also liked the atmosphere and decor which is clever but not over done. I will return!

You will need a reservation to get in here because it is always packed. Everything was perfect. We had the maple bacon wrapped scallops for an app. They have a connection with someone who supplies the best scallops. Three of us ordered the prime rib. The largest, most perfectly medium rare rib that I can remember having. Leftovers for days, yum. Our fourth ordered the strip steak, also cooked perfectly. While we waited for our table, I saw a couple at the bar get their burgers. The burgers here are enormous and looked so good. I am currently on a low carb diet, but can't wait to come back here to try one of those. Staff were great and very attentive.

Great atmosphere, and staff were very welcoming and friendly. We sat outside by choice, which was great, until a truck unloaded in the parking lot right next to us. The food, a Cobb salad, was enormous! It was delicious and full of the expected delectable flavors, with avocado, bacon bits, Blue Cheese, tomatoes and booked eggs. My soy allergy was taken seriously, and care was taken in helping me choose an appropriate dish. Precautions were taken with the dressing, allowing me to substitute with olive oil and vinegar.

I would only recommend going here if you enjoy delicoius chef inspired food and a wait staff to back it up. The prime rib was cooked so well I cut it with my spoon... I went on mother's day, extremely affordable and a costome menu to really impress. Worth trying at least once, if you think your taste buds can handle it

Food was delish, staff friendly a little expensive but worth it! We had the eggplant parmesan - sauce was chunky and nicely seasoned, pork chops were super tender with a very tasty mustard glaze. The house salad was also very good with mixed greens, balsamic dressing and topped with onion strings.

I genuinely wanted to like it. A few members of my family have gone multiple times (sometimes even driving out from Portland) and really love this place. However I got butternut squash ravioli and it was pretty terrible especially for the price. It was in a very heavy cream sauce with sausage, and the overall dish was somehow both bland and had too much going on. There were piles of different competing mild flavors without any definite identity. You could barely even taste the butternut squash ravioli. When you are working with seasonal flavors like butternut squash it is best to let them shine, maybe in a light cream or brown butter sauce. Individually I'd probably give it 1 star. We also got the roasted brussel sprouts, which seemed over done and crunchy and once again lacking any good flavors. The one bright point where the chips with blue cheese, I liked those pretty well and it was a reasonable amount for the price (great for sharing). Just going of this one experience I'd probably give 2 stars especially considering the price point. (When you are spending $20-30+ on a main course it should be good.) However taking into account the good things I've heard from family members whose options I trust regarding food I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was an off day and we picked bad dishes.

Really pleasant, upscale atmosphere. Great prices, beautiful view of the little stream below (if you sit on the far wall). Service was laid back, which was wholly appropriate for a Saturday morning. Usually I'm really picky with my five star ratings, and give them to places which I can't find anything wrong with. But there were some things I didn't like. The AC in the waiting area was blasting arctic air and the iced tea was just alright, a solid 3/5 stars. I also felt that the tables were a tad too small. But everything else was soooo good. This is a beautifully designed restaurant, with unique antiques, knick knacks, and other thingamabobs all over the waiting area and beautiful lanterns covering the roof of the room where we ate. There was a rapidly moving river outside of the window next to our table and the linen napkins were pretty too. The mussels were delicious, but I must say, the pasta I had blew everything else out of the water. It was a spinach and provolone ravioli with lamb meatballs and a decadent lamb ragu that is easily in the top tier of pasta I've had. Absolutely delicious. The huge portions also easily make the expensive prices worth it

Great food! They typically offer a meat special, a fish special, and a pasta special and a few other specials - as well as the regular menu. I had the chicken salto-something off of the regular menu,which was absolutely delicious. Great drink too! I had a margarita which I really enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet like most places make them out of a bottle of margarita-mix. Instead, it had a great balance of sweet and tart, probably because the used real lime juice. It is a little pricey, but it is totally worth the price when taking into account the portion sizes and quality of food.

I did have one tiny objection, though. The muffuletta sandwich... it was delicious, but i feel it’s a matter of tradition here. First, there was no mortadella on the sandwich.

Went to Krista's for New Year's eve with friends. Been a few times before and let's just say Krista's never disappoints. We started with nachos (simple but delicious) and some kind of rice balls which resembled lite meatballs in a tomato sauce. Both apps were fantastic. They have a nice selection of beer and wine in addition to a full bar. If you're lucky Tammy will wait on you. She is, hands down, my favorite waitress anywhere. For dinner we had steak and chicken dishes that were to die for. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken (stuffed with cheese and onions) was out of this world. We managed to leave room for dessert (which I'm told Krista makes herself) and they didn't disappoint. We shared a salted caramel mousse with oreo crust and a dessert tower that tasted great but I couldn't begin to tell you what was in it because it had so many flavors. All in all, our meal was great. This is the best small town restaurant I've ever been to.

Driving home to NH from Maine, stopped in to Krista's for the first time. We loved to decor and table scales. We sat at the picnic table in the front room, had comfy pillows and funky linen napkins. What a gem tucked away in this small town. You will have a hard time making a dinner selection with all of the great looking choices. Be sure to make a reservation. That being said, my only real complaint about this place is that they don't always manage reservations well. We've had to wait 30 or 40 minutes even with a reservation and not much of an apology or comp after finally being seated. Food and table service is worth the inconvenience though.

Had high expectations for this place prior to visiting. Our calamari appetizer was absolutely delicious and so was the salad. For my entree I ordered the Primerib and was not happy, the primerib was flavorless. I also had to pay for a side of horseradish sauce, that tasted like mayonnaise. To top it off, my family and I had to continuously swat away the hoard of flys, that kept landing on our food... Aside from the bland steak and flys, I have no complaints about the service, the waitress offered my son free dessert and also discounted our bill. Unfortunately we dont plan on coming back.

Krista's has two major things that make it worth visiting. 1) a really charismatic woman whose name I did not catch who was quite funny and made my wait for my food just breeze by. 2) a chicken sandwich with a piece of chicken so big that I'm concerned about the size of the chicken it came from. In fact, I'm not sure it wasn't just a big ol' piece of dinosaur. It was incredibly good. But the moral implication of resurrecting extinct species for the express purpose of delicious chicken sandwiches is troubling. I am, however, certain that I will be eating there again, dinosaurs or not. *Jurassic Park theme plays*
