Okay. The food was great. That's the saving grace. While the staff is friendly, they seem crazy under trained, luckily they can learn on the job so theres hope. It took about 10 minutes to order and about 20 minutes to recieve the food. Not too bad as they were slightly busy. But in the mean time someone that might have worked there was in and out of the upstairs kitchen area and actually mentioned she was having a bad day and openly announced her dogs diarrhea. In the restaurant. While people are eating. Like this place has really nice food and is pretty comfy but maybe try and be a tad bit more professional in some areas. Oh and there was an old man waondering around in an apron serving coffee and he was probably the best part of the experience.

Slowwwww service. People smoking cigarettes right outside windows of restaurant. 4.75$ for 3 sausage links that were bought at Hannaford. Corn beef hash from a can. Asked for check 3 times and was told to hold. Waited 25 mins after eating. No substitutions allowed for anything even a kids meal. Will never return. Congdon is sooooo much more worth it specially for same price.

Used to love this place. Didn't appreciate watching all the silverware kitchen staff performing all their duties in the middle of the dining room. Touching the silverware with their bare hands while eating their own food and being over charged for the special from the board and advising it was because we ordered "specialty" bread with our order. Since when is rye bread a special bread. I think they need to look at their establishment through the lens of the patrons. Won't be going back there any time soon.

Great breakfast! My sister ordered tea and thought it was a nice touch that they brought a pretty teacup and a teapot. It's at a very convenient location for hotels and near Wells Beach.

Made our first visit here after several friends recommended it. It was excellent. Both of my kids got pancakes and eggs and said they were the best they ever had! I had cakes, eggs, and sausage and mine was delicious too. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was like eating at grandmas house. We will definitely be back.

Good service and good food. They were very nice in altering the menu for special food allergies. Egg white omelette with broccoli and spinach was great. Loved tg home fries. Prices were also good. $29 for 2 people and we ate a lot.

We went in for a late breakfast. The service was friendly, fairly prompt, and the dining area was really clean. The guy serving coffee was really on his game - never had a cold cup. Food was pretty good - nothing outstanding, but I've got no complaints. My daughter downed her pancake pretty fast, so I know she was plenty happy. If you are staying at any of the hotels within walking distance of this place, I'd definitely recommend going.

I will say the food is very good but I am traveling solo and went in by myself to have breakfast, having eaten here many times with friends. I was treated so badly and made to feel I was taking up valuable space. Waitess wasn't even polite. Not returning.
