Simply the BEST Chinese food in southern Maine and possibly all of Maine but we can't make ourselves try any others. The Sushi bar is fresh and tasty. The owner, Andy, took me under his wing and taught me all about sushi and shashimi. Try the Wonton Soup, a meal in itself. No one makes it better.

I guess they had a bad day but given all the good reviews I was hoping for a pretty decent Chinese meal even in Maine. BAD- very BAD. Every dish was loaded with sugar and over salted. Cold Sesame noodles was so sweet I could not eat it. String beans with pork was also sugar loaded. They also don’t serve rice with the main dishes?? That’s extra. The waitress was impatient and dismissive. She took the dish away before we were finished. We usually don't complain but this place deserves no more than 2 stars. Try the seafood places - it’s Maine.

Green leaves is by far the best amerivsn Chinese I've had. I drive 40 minutes to get it happily. There isn't an item on the menu that isn't good and that they haven't thought about. Sushi is always fresh.

Good food, but I'm not sure this is the place you want to eat at as a visitor to Maine. The difference in attitude towards us and the locals was more than just familiarity. Unless you like being treated differently based on where you are from, you may want to look elsewhere.

We travel 45 minutes to pick up our Chinese food here, it's the best around! Everything on the menu tastes amazing & they have an entire gluten free (Celiac/No Cross-Contamination) menu! My mom had been looking for years for Chinese food that understood the difference between Gluten-Free accommodations & Celiac disease - so we praise this place as often as we can. I frequent this location as it is close to home. The menu is great and the food is pretty great as well. My biggest dislike is the fried rice. I order Pork Fried Rice as a staple to all my Chinese food meals and the one prepared here is very "thick" sticky, and heavy. I can not even eat it. Everything else here is great so if rice isn't your thing, go for it!

As the only local Chinese restaurant in the area I have ordered from Green Leaves a few times to get my General Tao Chicken fix. Of the times I have been the chicken has been soggy and chewy. I really want it to be good, but each time I am disappointed. Hopefully they start using fresher and healthier ingredients in the future.

Best Chinese food! Everything is made fresh never overcooked or tasting as though it has been sitting. The atmosphere is clean, attractive and not mousey at all. We drive from Dover, NH to have lunch or dinner at Greensleaves. I highly recommend it.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way south on 95. Restaurant is very convenient to the highway but a little tricky to spot as it is tucked in a plaza. The service was speedy and the waitress very pleasant. The General Gaos chicken was wonderful - the large nuggets of chicken were cooked perfectly. I had the sesame beef which was yummy as well.

They have a huge menu with sushi curry and traditional Chinese dishes. The lunch specials are perfect to eat in one sitting but the dinner dishes are huge which isn't a bad thing. We came back a second time while visiting maine because it was so good the first time. They have one of the best gluten free menus that I've ever seen from a restaurant. The people who work their are very nice and friendly as well.

We had a stop over in York on our way back to NJ , and I think we made a great decision to go to greenleaves. Lots of options for a drink and almost similar options for food. Surprisingly the veggie dishes were good too , which is hard to find in many other restaurants. General tsos tofu was good, so was veggie friend rice .. no smell of fish oil in veggies which is good for vegans. My friends had chicken and it tasted great too , with the spicy sauce . Overall we liked it .

This was the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever been too. Not only did they have an extensive Gluten Free menu, they were so kind and helpful to my children. They got them tools to help them use their chopsticks, played with them and even brought them umbrellas from the bar when my 3 year old got sad. We were treated to kindly. It really was above and beyond customer service.

It was ok. We walked in about 3pm and apparently that’s lunch break time for the staff because no one was enthusiastic about serving us. If they want to do this then close for an hour like other establishments and give your employees a true break I would have rather that than walk in and feel like a burden. Food was ok and we went because they do offer vegan and gluten free options but I’m not sure if I would go back

Most items I've had here have been quite good. The issue I had was when I ordered take out. Unfortunately I found the food to be very bland, especially the rice and the love mein. While I did appreciate that it was not very oily, the bland favor made it less enjoyable. It was disappointing as I usually have had a good experience at the restaurant itself.

One of our favorite Chinese places. The gluten free menu is amazing. We have a cold with celiac disease and she has never gotten sick from the good. The regular menu offers a wide variety of standard options but they are quite tasty.

It's below average for Asian food. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is quick. Sadly the food is a raw deal (pun intended.) 1) At the end, the fortune cookies were cracked and stale. 2) I was happy with my Sashimi Deluxe. The fish was cold, tasty, and well presented. 3) The shrimp with peaches was sad. They use canned peaches, and the shrimp were fried. Not what we expected. It also did not come with rice and had to order it on the side. Other area restaurants would serve this dish with rice. 4) The basic roll was very basic. Got a salmon roll which was only salmon, no scallion. It was also on the warmer side. 5) The Spider Roll claimed it was soft shell crab, but it was imitation. It was also tempura, but did not say so. 6) The crab Rangoons were very good, but a similar item exists on a competitor's menu nearby; so not exceptional for the area. Overall, it was very expensive for the quality of the food. It was served up quick... Almost too quick! We barely enjoyed the appetizers before our dinners arrived. I will not be returning. There are other restaurants nearby, like Bamboo Garden, that offer better value and quality.

Only Chinese food place I go to consistently! Delivery from Portsmouth is not possible, but ordering take out from here is! They are streamlined and have rarely, if ever, messes up an order. Sushi is ok, but worth a try if you’re in the fence. The whole family is in on the business, I’ve seen all ages and generations doing little jobs to make the place run well.

This is the best Chinese restaurant anywhere in the Seacoast that I've ever been to. Their items are so good and so immaculate that if you don't stop here and you're looking for good Chinese food something's wrong with you. They have a very detailed menu with items you can't get anywhere else. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp as it is delectable.
