Food was good, but the service was very slow and it was very hard to have a conversation with the people at your table because of the loudness. Everything on the menu has a sports-related name, and everything on the menu sounded really delicious. Reasonable prices as well. If you don't mind the loud noise then you'd probably like Gipper's.

Im of age but my bro isnt and we went inside at 8:10 and got sat down just to wait and go through all the hardship and then be told to leave cause my bro is under the drinking age... ridiculous, that place is no different then BWW and Applebees... They need to fix their rules. Lowkey says Gipper Sport Grille like nowhere does it even say Bar they just have one. Lmfao

Surprisingly good food for a sports bar. I had the Gretzky (teriyaki) burger, my girlfriend had chicken parm. Parm was a bit bland, but everything came out fast. We also did some skins with chili, which was actually spicy (unlike most other chili offerings in town). Service was great. Definitely recommend, but maybe stick with the pub fare from the menu.

They have the best food! The nachos are incredible. The taco salad is delicious! And the eagle is one of my favorite salads of all. Burgers are fat and juicy. We've even held events here and the buffet that they offer is delicious. Well worth the visit

Food, atmosphere, and service are all great when eating in house!! Loss of 1 star is for take-out. Seems like every time our order either gets messed up, or they tell us 30 minutes but it was ready in 10 and sat there for 20 getting soggy.

Much larger restaurant than it appears from the outside. There are enough TV's here to catch any game you're looking for, and a myriad of great beers on draft. The menu is large, it would take a week of visits to make it through the burgers alone...and not in a bad way.

Food was typical pub food. However their chicken tenders are amazing. Huge portion, different flavors. Big down fall, the carpet in the place let's off a very very awful smell. Could use an update. Ditch the carpet, brighten it up a bit. Try the hand cut fries.

Great sports bar experience. The waitresses give us personalized service whenever we go in. Food is good and comes out pretty quick. Only thing that stops us from visiting more early on the weekends is that they do not have a kids menu.

Great place. I was just there and it reminded me of cheers. Everyone was so friendly and the tavern nachos and margaritas are outstanding. The regulars like Paul make you feel right at home and the bartender Karen are fantastic! She is worth a visit alone! I will definately visit everytime I come back to Auburn!!!

Great place to eat in the Auburn Area. Food and service always the best. Went again last night and had a short wait, as it was busy. The waitress Sarah was awesome. Fast and friendly, as she came right over as we got seated in the busy restaurant. Food was great. My whole family had a nice dinner. Highly recommend Gippers to anyone. The food was great as always, the service was great as always, but there was some dude at the end if the bar yelling a out the Vikings game and being obnoxious. He was hanging all over the waitresses and being annoying. Our table was on the other side of the waitress station and this guy basically ruined our meal with his loud mouth.

Great Menu with so many choices that it's so hard to make a decision, everything is so delicious. I do Love the French Onion Soup as an appetizer or a meal. Salads, Nacho's, Burgers and Sandwiches are all so fresh and cooked so well you are always satisfied. The waitstaff are so friendly and very helpful. It's a must go for great food and watching your favorite sports that you can view wherever you are sitting. Great Food Great Time!!

So, we stopped here to have a small dinner, but my brother recommended the loaded nachos with chicken. He said the three of us could share and it would be plenty of food. Was he ever right! It was a lot of nachos, and they were very tasty. The service was great too. They also had quite a beer selection. The place was busy and a little noisy, but all in all, it was a good experience.

It's a sports bar. If you're looking for a burger and a beer on the cheap, this is the place for you. I wanted to love their chicken tenders. Everytime I saw a plate come out it was mounded high with these golden brown lovelies. So, I ordered some. There are some quality control issues with these. They are drrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy. You might eat one and it's perfect, and then the next three you can barely choke down. Fix this Gippers, cuz I want to love them, but I don't.

One of our favorite restaurants in Lewiston/Auburn. I always get the Golden Bear and it tastes just as good as the first time I had it over 20 years ago. (And I believe the price is still the same as it was in the 90s, but I could be wrong.) Most people probably come for all the sports on the TVs, but I come for the trivia game. Still love the place after all these years.
