We had an amazing experience at Fore Play! They had great specials and even better food. I came from out of town and this seemed like the perfect place to watch a game. They had several dozen TVs and great happy hour specials. There was a great mix of locals and tourists. I'll definitely be back the next time in town!

Bouncer was obscenely rude. No manger to ask for, only outside bouncer, which was "his place his rules" atmosphere. Plenty of other bars in the area with better service. 1/5/19

Dropped by while in Portland trying to catch a game. Was surprised by the free buffet and ample TVs on Sunday. Will go back next time I'm in town.

I went in nobody acknowledge my presence after 2 minutes of waiting in the door I seated myself. the bartender was to absorbed in his phone to acknowledge us. waited 10 minutes ! no service. no kitchen in sight and waitstaff was smoking by the door on exit

They showed both the Bruins and Celtics playoff games on TV's next to each other and the beer was cheaper than I had anticipated. I'd recommend it if youre in town and looking to watch a game.

went there on sunday oct 5th with 3 other people, we sat down at a table waited about 5 min. no one even noticed us. as waitress walked by, not acknowledging us, I tapped her on her arm, she looked at me like I had just murdered her and walked away. went to bar to get our own drinks, that was fine but she NEVER came back to check on us! will never go back there again! worst service I have ever been part of EVER!!!

Bar service was garbage. No greet at the door. Had to flag down for drink menu let alone an order. TVs didn't work with proper reception to enjoy the game.

Apparently the patrons of this bar don’t know how to bring empty glasses & garbage back to the bar. My table was used as the “receptacle” for garbage, despite our having to YELL at people not to. Smdh. What an atrocity.

Green Bay Packer friendly sports bar. Local fans meet each week to watch the game. Be warned they are very energetic fans. They love the Packers! You will be surrounded by New England fans but they were all accepting of us. Had a great time for the season opener. Stop in and say hi to everyone and wear your green and gold proudly.

Solid option for a good drink, great entertainment ment, and some sports on the TV. I've never had a bad experience there due to staff or facility. It is a very busy part of the Old Port in downtown Portland, so on the weekends it can get a little rocky in this section. There is a strong police presence just outside on the weekends, but the trouble in the area subsides during the weekdays. Overall, the bartenders rock, and the place has foosball, pool, and even a foosball-style hockey game. It can be a lot of fun if you don't go out looking for trouble.

Dropped in late on a Tuesday after realising it was going to be tough to find anything to eat at that time. Bar staff super friendly, hooked us up with some basic bar snacks which did the job nicely. Good beer selection on tap, along with knowledgable staff to advise on what's good. The best part was that Tuesday night was games night, with free to play games littered around the place and fun prizes for anyone who wins a game. All in all great fun, good service and very convenient if staying across the road at Hyatt Place.

Fun and accommodating staff. Feel like the bar tender knew exactly when wed need another beer and was at the ready. Social media guy said hi to us after we posted about our states team online earlier in the day. Tons of tv's clean space and bathroom. That night was $1 bud light drafts. Can't get better than that!

I'd give this place higher marks than some are leaving. You have to understand it's a sports bar. Laid back, casual place. Patrons all respectful of one another. No wait staff roaming around. You go to the bar and get your drinks and order the food. They bring the food out to you when ready. Works for me! The place was packed but the bartenders all kept up. Only one or two in line at any time so it was quick to grab a drink. Tons of TV's. 8 of us there for NCAA football semi finals. Bar keep came over and tuned the TV's by our table to the games for us and was glad to do so. Piped the sound for the major games of the day over speakers. No complaints about the food, came out hot and quick. Staff was obsessed with keeping the place and tables cleaned up all night.

It's a fun place for sure, plenty of TVs so you can watch you're favorite game. Fun and inviting atmosphere. The lady who owns the bar is an absolute peach :)
