After reading many reviews and an article in the local paper about the two brothers that opened a little restaurant in Lisbon Falls that served traditional foods, but with their own unique flare..., my friends and I had to stop in. We made reservations and upon arrival we’re immediately seated. Unlike most restaurants, we were each served with a glass of ice water and our drink orders were taken along with our order for appetizers right after. The appetizers, poutine and calamari, arrived shortly after and the presentation of them blew us away. Not at all what we expected, but no complaints and the flavors did not disappoint in any way. The personal flare of the two brothers for their presentation of the appetizers is over the top. For dinner, my friend ordered the Flux Burger and his girlfriend ordered the Far East Salad. My wife ordered the Sea Bass Special and I ordered the Fish and Chips. When served, the presentation of each dish was amazing. They were all pieces of art in their own form and unique flares. The flavors of each dish we’re once again - amazing. We usually don’t order desert when we dine out, but based on how everything looked and tasted so far, we went for it. My friend had the Chocolate Cake, his girlfriend and my wife shared a Creme Brûlée and I had the Strawberry Cheesecake. Needless to say, we ate it all. I will say that my wife loved not only the presentation of the Sea Bass Special, but she literally loved the sea bass as pictured below.

Received a gift certificate for Christmas and I am so lucky I did! My husband and I have been in for both a late lunch and dinner and both times we were very pleased. The staff was kind and accommodating given we had our 9 month old son with us. I had the burger and my husband a chicken sandwich both were very tasty. The show stopper for me were the beef skewers, it melted in your mouth and the flavors were coming from all directions. Simply put, best place to eat in Lisbon.

Came for dinner on a Saturday night without a reservation and it was packed, so we ended up at the bar which we like anyway, so that was fun. It’s a lively vibe in an attractive, trendy decor. I’d read a review in the Lewiston Sun Journal that included a description of the poutine, so I had to try it and it was well|-worth the calories (move over, Duck Fat). I paired that with the Far East salad (small portion, just right) which was a little too spicy for my taste but delicious. My husband had the steak frites, perfectly cooked and with a little deliciously wilted spinach underneath and a killer horseradish aioli. Two things keep me from adding the 5th star: the cocktails which were good but not great (the bar needs a broader stock of whiskies and their accompaniments), and our food was quite slow to arrive. In their defense, it was as noted a very busy night and there seemed to be several new staff members. We didn’t mind the wait too much, though, as there was lots of good energy and people were clearly having fun. Look at you, Lisbon Falls!

The food here is amazing. If I could keep it all to myself I would. So far after two meals there in the last month I am already looking forward to my next visit. Everyone is super friendly. My only complaint is that for such a small space they have the music cranked up pretty lound. IMO.

Very nice beer selection (bissell, liquid riot, mast landing and numerous comparable micro breweries) and good food. Clean facility and nice aesthetics. The food uses quality, generally local ingredients and offers its own spin on some favorites (the fish and chips uses potato pave in lieu of French fries and a lemony, light cabbage slaw to create a visually stunning dish that is as tall as it is delicious). Plating is clean, servers are casual but consistently helpful.

I ordered the baked macaroni and cheese and it was delicious, full of flavor, served at the right temperature, and the portion was spot-on for the price. The restaurant was really nice and modern inside which is the opposite of what it used to look like when it was Mike's. The server was really sweet and friendly, although she didn't come back to ask us how things were... which leads me to my next part of the review. Although my food was delightful, my friend's BLT was not. The bread to meat ration was well in favor of the bread and it was a big hamburger bun, not even toasted. The BLT was incredibly disappointing and over priced...all bread and no substance. If they could somehow toast a couple pieces of Texas style bread or something that would change everything for future customers.

If you're in the area and you don't go to Flux you're doing yourself a disservice. Their food is phenomenal, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is an elevated relaxed and inviting. The rotating beer selection never disappoints, the specials are consistently incredible and the menu changes enough to never get stale while keeping the staples to not disappoint. Jason and Tyson seriously nailed it. Even if you're not in the area, take a trip. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised! Wow who knew that we would find such a great place in the middle of Lisbon Falls! Funky vibe, delicious food and excellent service. I had two of my favorite things.. a Bloody Mary and poutine, and tried the fried fiddleheads, which neither of us had tried before and was blown away by all of it. This is definitely a reason to head to this little town!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Zingy, not-too-sweet margaritas, fabulous crunchy tempura cauliflower and delicious Brussels sprouts appetizers, amazing and perfectly done burger, and best fish and chips ever! Hard to save room for dessert, but sharing the chocolate cake was a perfect finish to a perfect meal. And our server was charming and very helpful. A totally positive experience! We’ll be back!

Speechless! Fine dining at it's best! Locally grown homemade gourmet food, with many dishes from all over the world. American, french, Vietnamese or Asian fusion and probably many more! Prices are very fair, portions are great, staff are very knowledgeable friendly and professional.

One of my favorite restaurants in the greater L/A area. The food is excellent and most of it is locally sourced. They also have creative cocktails which I very much enjoy. And it's sophisticated enough that you can dress up if you'd like, but you don't need to of you don't. They also have great specials during the week. I highly recommend.

Man, just all around terrific. They run a ramen special on Thursdays that is definitely one of the best renditions of that particular jam I've been lucky enough to eat. Go over there for sure.

Great beer selection! Server forgot to put our app in and didn't tell us until we asked what happened to our wings then didn't even apologize or make up for it. It was Taco Tuesday so I got the special and was not impressed for the price. The entrees start at $18 and that was not what I was expecting for what looked like a diner or what was on the menu. I wouldn't want to stay long either with how uncomfortable the seating is.

It was excellent! And any claims that they water down the drinks is definitely not the experience that I had. The maragueritas were wonderful! As were the tacos! No, I'm not driving, thankfully. The food is excellent and the people were very personable. Highly recommended. Not your usual fare. So check out the menu online.

Flux is one of those special places that is worth being a destination. Great food and atmosphere, absurdly reasonable prices, in the heart of Lisbon Falls. However, what is most exciting is to see how successful they have been moving into a downtown that has been struggling for years. Hopefully Flux is the first wave in the resurgence of this quaint town.

Really good broiled Oyster and mussel apps. Very good Steak Frites and seafood spaghetti. Our only grip was subpar Martini and small pour on wine by the glass. Overall, really liked it and will be back.

My girlfriend and I went to Flux shortly after they opened and we enjoyed it, but we went again just recently, about a year later, and they have definitely found their groove! Everything was perfectly prepared. We shared the brussels sprouts to start. They were tangy and addictive. Then I had the seasonal grains bowl, in which every vegetable was the best version of that vegetable I've ever tasted. And even though I don't eat fish I couldn't resist trying some of the sauce from my partner's mussels: so good! We also split an order of fries, which were simple, crisp, and tender. We were stuffed, but I had to get chocolate cake and coffee for dessert--fresh whipped cream and a delicious, surprisingly light chocolate cake. Not so sweet you couldn't enjoy the chocolate. All this, plus a great selection of Maine beers. This was a perfect evening and we'll definitely be back.

We arrived hungry from out of state somewhat before dinnertime at my sister's house, so we decided to try Flux. Five thirty was a busy time this Wednesday afternoon. The limited entree choices were rather pricy for an impromptu meal, so my wife and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. We were a bit dismayed that it took almost 40 minutes for our meal to arrive. My sandwich was good and crispy; the sauce and fillings enhanced it with tasty flavors. My wife's sandwich however, ordered and delivered at the same time, was very undercooked. (How does that happen?) She didn't want to make an issue of it and just ate the bun and some of the fries. My 10 year old son enjoyed the children's menu grilled cheese, but like my wife and I, he was disappointed with the French fries and just ate a few. Maybe an upgrade on the fries to some other kind would be indicated. I would have liked more side options with the sandwich, like maybe coleslaw. My impression was that most of the customers were locals (Lisbon doesn't have many restaurant choices) and they all seem to enjoy the deep fried fish and other deep-fried selections. There was a nice menu of specialty drinks and microbrew beers. I would like to have seen a larger variety of mid-priced entrees, but I suppose that if a place fills up with customers on a Wednesday for a small selection of entrees mostly over $20 there is no motivation to do that.

TOP NOTCH from the first taste to the last without being pretentious or overpriced. The kitchen is clearly dedicated to providing an experience that is fresh on so many levels. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, even if it's out of your way, it's worth it! Everything is made from scratch. Tuesday is $5 tacos, Wednesday is $1 dumplings, all with rotating recipes. I've been a few times to both and been intrigued and pleased by everything. Especially the reuban taco! I also highly recommend the brussel sprouts with the steak fries or the beef bolognese..

So grateful for a craft beer bar in Lisbon!!!! They focus heavily on Maine beers and it’s reasonably priced. The bartenders are all super friendly and helpful. The food is also excellent - tried the oysters from Edgecomb and they were to die for!!!! This is a real gem in Lisbon, check it out!

My husband and I went to Flux for the first time last night. The ambiance was nothing to note, other than the music selection (Latin), which I enjoyed. The presentation of the food was extremely unique. However, the taste of the food was overall quite bland. The cost was average for a couple and for the type of establishment (this isn't fast food so don't expect to eat for less than $20 for two people). If the taste was as good as the looks of the food, I'd definitely rate it higher. Overall, rates a 3 in my book.
