This Restaurant belongs to the category of Seafood restaurant.
We loved everything about David’s! While visiting Portland, we’ve enjoyed many good restaurants. We live in a restaurant town, Philadelphia. Hands down, David’s is the best restaurant in Portland - staff was friendly and efficient, the place has a great vibe, music was awesome and the food was outstanding!
A absolute must if you're in the Portland area
Great service excellent meal
The best happy hour in portland!
Recently went to David's and they did not disappoint. The first time I went, which was maybe 4 or 5 years ago, the mashed potatoes were to die for as well as the steak. This time I did the 4 course meal and WOW! The first thing out was a smoked salmon bite ( wish there were 10 more lol), then I got the salmon, scallop, and lobster cakes. Best version of a crab cake I've ever had!! I had lamb for the very first time ( I feel like a terrible person eating a baby). The lamb melted in my mouth. I did medium rare as the chef recommended and it was sensational. Then came the desserts, chocolate covered strawberries, homemade cookies, chocolate truffles, and coconut tres leches (could eat this all day long). The waiter was very attentive, kind, and extremely helpful with all my questions. To top it all off there was an older woman who had a few glasses of wine and sang a beautiful song to her husband that I also enjoyed!!
I'm not big on their lunch buffet, but they had a pretty good salmon and service this visit was better than last.
Stopped in for a late nite dessert, soooooooo yummy! Trifle, ice cream and carrot cake were what the doctor ordered!
It was all marvelous, but as tasty as the clam chowder was, I couldn't really taste the clams.
Best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Creative menu. Seems to use local ingredients. Service was good. A bit pricey but worth the price in my opinion. We parked in an hourly lot 1-2 blocks away. Pictured is the haddack and teenypoint crab meat entree with a delicious blueberry compote.
Wow! Their food amazing and their drinks are strong. Service was on point. I recommend the lobster ravioli. Sit at the bar and you can watch all the kitchen action.
Just had an amazing birthday meal!! A favorite place to have an excellent dinner.
Went several times the food is wonderful and the Service is great!! The atmosphere is quiet great for a date. A little pricey but I love it!!!
Awesome sauce
Excellent food and service!
I love David's! From the garlic knots to the seasonal entrees, to the desserts, everything is always delicious. I've been there three times, and will continue to keep going back!
Good food, comfortable atmosphere, central location in downtown Portland.
Awesome place. The garlic knots they give as their bread are great. The lobster open face tortellini is awesome. Best dish I have had in a long time. Would recommend to anyone.
Expensive, food was excellent, servers were very friendly.
4.5 stars, good food and service, never disappointed. Love the baked haddock with crab and blue berry reduction - one of my fav lunches ever!
Food was delicious!
Real small inside but cozy. The food was amazing
Super delicious food and options for everyone (gluten free, vegan, etc).
Tight fit for dining with our group of 8. The food was delicious and a very good vibe
One of the best restaurants in Portland, and there are many excellent restaurants in Portland . . . .
Incredible food and experience
Just polished off one of the most amazing meals I’ve had in Portland yet! David’s Haddock w Peekytoe Crab is interestingly described on the menu and had me wanting to find out just what ‘blueberry-lavender gastrique’ tasted like with this particular tomato & herb risotto. The plate was beautifully presented but looks only lasted moments before the dish was voraciously consumed!! Absolutely fabulous! I only wish I had room for desert, guess we will be coming back!
David's has always been one of my very favorite restaurants in Portland Maine. The food is always exceptional and the staff is wonderful as well. It's always nice to see Kim. Thanks again for a lovely evening. I brought my mom and stepdad in and they were thrilled very very impressed.
The Moroccan spiced salmon special was outstanding. Definitely will be coming back!
The location, food, and environment are fantastic. I'm so glad they have vegan offerings so my whole family can enjoy it.
Excellent food amd service. We had people in our party with allergies and they were very accommodating. We had reservations and arrived a bit early. They were able to seat us early. The front of house staff was attentive while we waited.
Incredible drinks, humorous and engaged service, possibly the best filet I've had in the Northeast.
Great atmosphere, loves seeing the kitchen right out there on told you. Amazing meal choices...Highly recommend the brussel sprouts they were out of this world! Our party on 7 ordered 6 different entrees and everything was a hit with the exception of the duck. The chef recommends it medium rare but we asked for it to be cooked at medium. It was served almost rare and was very tough and gamey. The risotto that came with it was outstanding however!
We had dinner here with my wife and in-laws about a year and a half ago. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in downtown Portland.
Happy hour is insane
Fabulous food would recommend the shrimp and steak
3rd visit, food always excellent, service is top notch (thus the 5 stars!) need a little work on specialty cocktails
Wonderful food and service.
Delicious - great place and great chef! Service was outstanding and everything tasted amazing. Definitely make a reservation.
My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. One of our best ever. I got a steak dish, and my wife got a Moroccan seafood kebab dish. Both were done to perfection. Highly recommend and if we are ever in Portland again, this will be our first stop.
Delicious never ceases to deliver. Love this place
Spectacular. Open Faced Lobster "Ravioli"
Great appetizers; we liked the charcuterie plate much more than our entrees. I think we probably just didn’t order the right stuff. I’d be willing to give it another shot.
Never less than great for the last 20 years
Excellent food and service. Foodies, this is for you. We sat outside where it was quieter.
I went into David's with two other guests around 8:30pm on a Saturday night. We had already had dinner elsewhere but David's dessert menu looked good and I never turn down a good dessert. When we walked in, it was busy but there were several tables open and many tables were wrapping up. I told the host that we will only be ordering dessert and he was very friendly and sat us at the counter looking over the kitchen. When the waitress arrived, Erin B. we came to find out, she served us bread and menus. We immediately informed her that we would just be ordering dessert and that we had informed the host when we were seated. She was clearly aggravated and took the bread and menus away without speaking another word to us. When she came back for our order, she was not friendly at all. I asked for an Americano in which she asked for detailed instructions on how to make so I decided to go with a regular coffee instead, which ended up being luke warm when I got it. In a city with so many coffee shops, I find it hard to believe that no one else has ever ordered an Americano. We ordered two desserts and each of us got a drink. The desserts were just ok, the carrot cake was dry and chocolate torte was ok but I have definitely had better. They were not fresh at all. The waitress served us the drinks but other than that did not come over to check on us and was not warming to us at all until she brought the bill in which then she was very friendly, smiling and told us to have a good night. I have several family members in the restaurant industry and I understand that it can be frustrating to lose a table to people just ordering dessert so I typically tip well but I was very upset with the level of service we received. Not to mention, there were several open tables. We were there for maybe 25 minutes and nothing about the service (other than the host) or the food was impressive. In a city with so many great restaurants, I recommend going somewhere else. I will not be going back.
It's a fine restaurant.
Quite good. Decent food just a bit pricey
1 OF THE BEST MEALS I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! Every dish was well thought out, and masterfully executed.
For what is offered in Portland, David’s is over priced for the quality of food and the menu options are limited
Always a great meal in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
Seated at the bar, we ordered a couple drinks and some light apps. I really enjoyed the drink i got. Salmon cakes were delicious. I was disappointed in the avocado caprese salad (I expected an actual salad) but thats not what they were going for. The flavors were very good. She got the mussels on special and felt they were good but not amazing. We would probably come back the next time we're in Portland.
Amazing from the minute we walked in the door!!
Happy hour cocktails were great and half priced apps. Our bartender was the best.
Lovely convenient location. Interesting dishes and combinations. Staff was efficient not quite warm yet, but close.
Great service and delicious creative food!
Great food but reservations aren't based on when other tables decide to leave. 815 reservation turned into 850.....because other people didn't finish their dinner in time...
Great happy hour specials. Never had dinner here but I love the happy hour vibe.
Great food and fun place
I went here as part of a very large party last night (around 20 or so people) and was extremely impressed. The service was top notch - not bothersome but always there when we needed them, and with a smile. Special props to the servers & chefs for timing all of our plates to come out together. They even switched out our appetizer settings for clean cutlery in between courses! Food was amazing - I ordered the rare tuna and it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Drinks are excellent - try the spicy margarita. Good beer selection, too. The staff was patient with us, even at our loudest, so thank you ;) You will not be disappointed!
We went to David’s for our vacation in Portland. The service was fast and prompt. Our waiter was a kind, reasonable young man. The food was out of this world. I ordered the Cajun Reggae pizza and the goat milk chili sauce in it was so flavorful. The prices were reasonable, I just wish the seating wasn’t so cramped and small.
Par excellent! Great location. Exceptional staff
My wife and I had my birthday dinner here this year and for the most part it was amazing. Service was excellent, drinks delicious and the food ... mmmm. I'd give this 5 star but I was disappointed in my filet mignon, I was given an end cut that was very fatty. The rest of the filet was heavenly, so tender and delicious but there was a decent amount of fat to cut through. I'd still recommend but that was disappointing... one last thing. We ordered an appetizer and it was so good I loved it, but it didn't mention bacon in the chowder and my wife doesn't eat red meat, she agreed it was good still. I really enjoyed it though.
Great atmosphere and great happy hour menu.
Food, service, value and atmosphere was awesome! I highly recommend it. Good vegan options too.
Good place when transiting between events of the day.
Enjoyed our lunch at David's. My wife loved her entree of grilled vegetables on flatbread and her cup of soup of chicken root vegetables with kale. I enjoyed my bowl of clam chowder and my cubano sandwich. wicked good Service was excellent and the price reasonable.
Top notch! Smashing! Eat here.
The "Lobster Ravioli" had almost no Lobster; I found the same dish on another menu listed as "Seafood Ravioli" which would be a vastly more accurate name. The Clam Chowder was very good. The Brussel Sprouts were very tasty. The Garlic Knots were waaay too good. Service was fine. The restaurant needs a deep clean; the curtains are dingy, the light globes are not clean and the window sills and the glassware on the window sills are right next to my face and are in need of a wash.
The resteraunt is a nice size with a mix of many different types of food. The service is great. The food is different. I had the clam chowder which has brown sugar and sage so it's sweet. It was very different but enjoyable. However my sesame salmon was bland. Everything else was great though. Would recommend highly
Nelson is the best server anywhere, he's fast accurate and courteious :)
Good food and drinks. Nothing spectacular, but always solid. Fairly nice wine list. Good for lunch, dinner or even just drinks and appetizers.
Went for dinner last night with my wife and two daughters that are 12 & 15. Everyone's food was amazing. We had the salmon cakes for appetizer & for main course I had the meatloaf, the kids had pizza, & my wife had a haddock & crab dish. Service was excellent and the cocktails were very good as well. We were glad we picked this place for dinner.
Mashed potato pizza...thats all I have to say! Who would have thought of this concoction?! It was all the joys of a loaded baked or loaded mashed potato in the form of pizza!! We were bar hopping around Portland and needed food. Smelled great when we walked by so swung in.
Excellent food. Sat on the bar and watched the cooks at work, which added to a rare experience of pallet, mind and senses. Service was friendly and pleasant. Prices reasonable and you feel you got more than your money's worth. Highly recommended!
Delicious food, excellent service! David's has a great selection of unique dishes. They all taste as good as they look. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, and I'm inclined to think the others are the same. First-rate!
We had a great experience at David's sitting at a high top near a window. We just caught happy hour, which ends at 6, and we each got 2 wines for $5. And they were really good wines!! For dinner, my husband had a pizza and I had a surf and turf special. The Food was great! Service was good too.
Per my husband, it was the best meal of the week. He had haddock with crab over spinach risotto with berry sauce. I had deconstructed lobster ravioli. Unfortunately, it was very heavy on the sauce and both shrimps and scallops were overcooked. We loved garlic rolls and service was very good.
Great Portland restaurant. Our server, Kim, was excellent. The food is great. We were there twice, because the first visit was so good. Additionally, they have an excellent kids menu, which is nice if you want your kids to have something other than chicken fingers. The dessert menu looks great. We had the ice cream sandwich, and it was spectacular...so we had it again. The wine list is very nice, with some good wines at decent prices. One note: if you want to eat on the patio, ask when you make your reservation. On our second visit, we had a reservation at 7:00 p.m.. The patio was empty, but they would not seat us there, since we had not specifically requested it.
Sit at the counter and watch the kitchen kill it...loved everything. The service was a little slow to start, but came through. Excellent garlic knots, salads, and seafood entrees. Ready to go back.
Al fresco dining in the town square on a mild summer night. Staff was very efficient while staying the right distance. Our seafood tasted fresh and delicious with a lovely presentation. The salad was pretty and tasty. The Jack Daniels cocktails washed it down well.
Me and my bf decided to do a roadtrip to portland ! We are from boston! We googled davids restaurant and decided to stop! Glad we did! Excellent food and service!
I'd heard that David's offered the best-cooked seafood in Portland. Not the best traditional seafood, not the best lobster, not the best oysters, and not the best elite atmosphere, but, overall, the best seafood in Portland. I concur. If you like some of the world's best seafood prepared in a style similar to fine French cuisine--but not limited to French methods and ideas--come here. The restaurant is four-star or better in every respect, but the seafood is on the cusp of earning Michelin stars. Our visit was time well spent.
Fantastic experience all the way around! We were a group of over a dozen and the food was delicious and waitstaff well prepared to handle our large crowd size. Expensive, but worth it.
Great food and great service
The food and service is exceptional. They have a great Happy Hour too, with a good size bar and a few high tops. They offer street seating in late spring through early fall as well! If you like to watch your meal being cooked before your eyes, they offer (limited) seating at the cook bar. It's pretty cool & when it's slow you can even strike up a conversation with the chef! Parking is either on the street or in very close parking garages (3 close by, 1 within the block and 2 others within a block). Great for business meetings or romantic dinners.
Always fantastic food and a great location. Cheese and meat board was on point.
A great meal! On our new regular list. Warm atmosphere that was welcoming, upscale and didn't feel stuffy. Food was excellent.
Elegant. Very nice. Good food.
Hands down the best restaurant in Portland! The staff are extremely friendly, professional and know the menus very well. Great mixed drinks as well and a great feature is being able to sit near the chefs while they cook. Great for date nights or professional hangouts. The food is elevated with great combinations of flavor, you'll regret not going here.
Probably the best food I've ever eaten. Open faced lobster ravioli was absolutely amazing
Great beet salad and pizza!
This place is an awesome restaurant if you're looking to have a fine dining experience and have some "not-so-fine dining" eaters with you. Davids marries fine dining and comfort food and it was fantastic. Simple and great menu top to bottom, wonderful atmosphere even if seating is limited and great service! We WILL be coming back whenever we're in town! Make reservations!
Took my mom out to David's for her birthday. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Our server was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We were able to carry on conversation without having to shout and the overall atmosphere was superb. We ordered the cheese plate as an appetizer. It was very delicious. It consisted of a smoked Gouda, triple cream brie and herb crusted goat. All were quite delicious and the accoutrements were spectacular as well. For entrees we ordered the duck, the open face lobster ravioli and the shrimp and scallop skewers. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend this establishment for a nice dinner. We skipped on dessert as we had other plans
Wonderful food. Great wait staff. First time at the Portland location for lunch, we normally go to the South Portland location for dinner.
Great experience in Portland! Delicious food and wonderful refined atmosphere. Our server Chris made it even better. We'll be back! (Lobster "ravioli" pictured , hamburger eaten too quickly for photo)
Good food at a reasonable price. Most of the entrees top out in the low $30's, and between our party of six, we tried several. The burger was cooked well, and the fries were crispy. The salmon was also excellent, and the snow peas served as a terrific accompaniment. The duck was perhaps the most disappointing. It was tough and overcooked. Two of our diners had it, and they both agreed. The risotto it came with was top notch, however. On the appetizer side, the Brussel sprouts were good, as was the special charcuterie board. The complimentary garlic knots were perhaps the best thing about the meal. The service was attentive for the most part, but be warned: the dining room has no air conditioning, so if it's a hot summer night, it can (and will) get very muggy.
My husband and I had a very good experience at David's. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming (though the decor was a little casual for the kinds of food they were offering). For appetizers, we ordered a calamari salad and steak tartar. Both were the same price, but both were on opposite sides of the spectrum in terms of portion size; the calamari salad was generous, but the steak tartar was finished in one bite for each of us. My husband ordered steak (as he usually does when we go out to eat) and he had no complaints at all. I had the duck special and it was TO DIE FOR. The duck was so well prepared, and the risotto that accompanied it was so satisfying. We had some kind of torte for dessert that was so well prepared in presentation and just the right portion/sweetness. Overall, I have to say that we had a very good meal/impression at David's and we will definitely dine here again.
David's is a great lunch spot. Their sandwich of the day is generally very good. Very popular with the business lunch crowd and they offer a lunch buffet if you're in a hurry. I would recommend this place for anyone in Portland looking for a top notch lunch spot.
Had the duck. It came with fingerling potatoes and sauteed spinach. I think I can say it's the best in the city.
Amazing! Amazing food!! We had the seared tuna and open faced lobster ravioli. Both were amazing!! I'm not a big pasta or ravioli fan but this was incredible. Also fair portions of lobster, shrimp and scallops. A little rich but still good. The seared tuna was amazing! Very fresh yet filling. The soba noodles were so soft. You can't go wrong with anything here. Would definitely return next time
I would have enjoyed the evening much better if I wasn't rushed to order by staff
Such a great place. Food was delicious
The mushroom pizza has a vegan version that is absolutely delicious. The cashew ricotta is amazing!
We had an excellent dining experience. It started with the best clam chowder in Portland. An herbaceous, rich chowder packed with clams. The fried pemaquid oysters were succulent and topped with a properly spiced tartar sauce. David's Maine haddock with peekytoe crab was cooked to perfection. Accompanied with a flavorful blueberry lavender gastrique, spinach, and a buttermilk scallion risotto, it was our favorite entree during our stay. A bottle of Solena Pinot Gris paired well with our entire meal. Their nightly special, a biscuit stuffed lobster topped with saffron creme du brie, was a tasty delight. Their maple amaretto creme brulee was a smooth sweet finish to a great meal. Our service was efficient and timely. An added bonus was our oddball request for a plain piece, no spices nor butter, of cooked haddock for our English Setter. It was done with a wink and a nod, topping a great al fresco meal.
Ian hard at work! Great restaurant, great atmosphere, great food and great service!
Sad, we will never go back. We hadn’t eaten there in about five years; it’s gone downhill. My wife’s Haddock dish was way over cooked, the risotto under the fish was over cooked. Her comment was “fish sticks are better than this.” Dave should be ashamed food like that is coming out of his kitchen. She sent it back. They made her another one and it was not much better. My Open-faced lobster ravioli was underwhelming at best. When you are paying $30-plus dollars a plate it should be way better than what we had. There are so many better restaurants in Portland with more imaginative food.
Very good food that I have never tried before
My wife and I have been to Davids many times and always try and sit at the bar in front of the cooking area.We have a great time talking to the cooks and chef. Last night I had the mushroom ravioli with chorizo. It was maybe the best food I have ever had. I cannot even describe how wonderful that was. I also had a half dozen oysters that were excellent. My wife had a really tasty salad and a pizza. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone. The service is great and the staff is very nice.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Every dish was fantastic. The Haddock and Peekytoe Crab entree was a home run, as was the Crispy Skinned Duck. Service was tremendous. All around, a true winner. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I went here for a rehearsal dinner, and it was amazing. The food was just, amazing and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in town.
Excellent service and delicious food. Can't beat this upscale restaurant after a long day.
Everything was delicious. Service also very good
The best place we went to. Food was wonderful.
Overall very good food except for shrimps kebabs. Those were totally overpowered by hot spices. I do like spicy food, but the spice should enhance the food and to kill it. Friendly staff.
Incredible lunch buffet. It's not your typical buffet food - it's real food made by the chef. The seating may be tight, but it definitely worth it!
We went there last night. Our waitress was good but the food was awful ! My order of haddock and crab with risotto. The fish was not cooked all the way and risotto was a gummy wadd. I returned that and got a lobster roll. This was on a greasy hamburger roll with a few pieces of tasteless lobster and a dollop of mayonnaise. I will give credit to the salad chef .The ceasar was good. Extremely disappointing!
My meatloaf was fantastic, I also tried a bite of the lobster roll my boyfriend got. The lobster must've just been caught that day, so fresh. Plan ahead to make a reservation, or you can sit at the bar.
Excellent food, service was fast, i will recommend anytime, great ambiance we had a good time
Excellent food. Cosy atmosphere with good service and decor provide a familiar environment to frame some well thought out dishes.
The food was phenomenal.
The best ever
Fantastic menu
Amazing food, a bit expensive. Great for a real treat, special occasion
Great Happy Hour. Both food and drinks
Apps and entrees from an open kitchen. Daily charcuterie option. Food is outstanding in an open kitchen, lively atmosphere.
Warm atmosphere..excellent food and drinks
The service and food were excellent. The only problem is the location. It is surrounded by the drug and crack addicts.
Some of the best food I have had in Portland!
Fantastic sea food place, had grilled prawns & scallops on a skewer, really good.
For the price, it wasn't great. Their oysters were served with cocktail sauce which the menu described as something much more elegant. Overall this was a metaphor for everything we had: described as more elegant than the execution. I would have liked this place more if they weren't priced and positioned as an upscale fine dining establishment. The server was nice, but I wouldn't go back.
Great vegan pizza and truffle fries!
It's amazing
Out of this world food and staff.
Very nice great food and service .
This is my favorite restaurant in the world. Food is always excellent and staff is amazing. Kim is awesome. She always makes us feel like old friends returning home.
Atmosphere was pleasant. The staff pleasant. The food great. The prices reasonable for the quality. I might also say, the food outstanding for the price. Whaddya want?
Lobster roll
I was looking for some seafood and this place exceeded my expectations. A little pricey but totally worth it! Great short draft list of local craft beers.
Food was fantastic. Serving was great. Convenient location.
Excellent food and great location. The price is reasonable with a good selection of seafood meals. I had the blackened shrimp with scallops, and my wife had the steamed lobster. Both meals were very tasty.
Great menu, good service, reasonably priced...right on the monument square.
Wonderful food and service!
Great food and great service!
Husband loves the lunch buffet. I love the ever-changing creative and delicious specials.
Very good food and nice music, service was great.
I'm in Portland for work and as such I'm eating out for every meal. I tried David's last night on a whim and my goodness I'm glad I did. The filet is one of the best I've ever eaten - so much so, I went back again tonight and didn't ask for a menu i just ordered the same thing again (which was just as delicious as last night's). Nelson was my waiter and he was attentive yet unobtrusive (and remembered my order from the night before). I have already recommended David's to my colleagues who live in the area and I will be back when I visit next Portland again.
Excellent and unique dishes at affordable prices. The bread served is exceptional. Reservations are recommended
I had one of the most amazing meals of my life at David's. Definitely worth making a stop here if you are in Portland. We got the sirloin steak and the salmon and both were wonderful. My cocktail (spicy margarita) was great and the wait staff was attentive, caring, and polite. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs which is always fun. The place filled up so I was glad we had gotten a reservation. Don't miss David's!
Food was ok and waiter was courteous, but I was sitting for a long time with just a glass of water in front me. Most places place some bread or rolls on the table until your food is ready (don't mind paying for it). I have to watch my starch intake so asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular white potatoes, instead I got mashed sweet potato that looks like it came from a can, of course went back untouched. Not happy with my dining experience.
I think this is the best place in Portland to have food. Order any food and you won't regret.
Excellent service, great food, nice ambience. Reasonable prices, too. Really no downside at all.
My wife and I absolutely love David's. We enjoy sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen, watching the wonderful "chaos" (to the untrained eye!) of the staff making delicious food. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the entrees, everything is memorable. We will be back!
Good drinks nice staff
Came in during restaurant week. Great menu and beer selection. Missus had their meatloaf which was outstanding. I had a burger.... I know, why a burger? Either way, that is what I wanted so I ordered it. As I ate it, it didn’t register as a meal. It looked pretty but the bun was harder than it should be, ingredients were uninspired. Experience was basically pedestrian. I know burgers aren’t their specialty but at least pretend you want to cook it. I could even tell they weren’t thrilled about making order since my waiter asked my wife how was her meal (which was exquisite) and didn’t ask me how was mine. Oh well
Wife didn't see lobster roll was mayo based, sent it back for no mayo version. For $35, not the best dish.
Nice atmosphere, nice staff, good happy hour (4 to 6 weekdays, $6 drinks, 3 discounted beers and wine as well as $5 apps).
Great food, ambiance and service. However we ordered the Wild Mushroom Pizza and the mushrooms were not sauteed before they were put on the pizza. This left the mushrooms dry and hard and gave the pizza an odd taste. I really love Mushrooms but we had to send the pizza back. The Clam chowder was amazing and so was the waitress!
The Food was wonderful. As a first te visitor to Maine, this was one of my first stops. Hadnthe open faced lobster ravioli and the carrot cake. Both were delicious. Highly recommended
