Best drinks in town....Hands down! Busiest bartender I have every seen. Never caught her name but the attention to detail on the drinks with everything else going on in the bar was a spectacular show of its own lol. When we come back we will quench our thirst here!

A very decent little bar in Bar Harbor. My wife and I were just killing time before going to dinner and checking out the shops. This was along the way and we stopped in for some wine. It was a good choice. The wine and beer selection was reasonable and they have a good selection of fancy mixed drinks as well. I'm not into those drinks but it was interesting to watch a chocolate something or other drink made. It even look pretty good. The bar is a nice respite from the street.

We stopped in for cocktails on Sunday May 26th with our two dogs in tow. We went to take a seat on the patio when David the bartender yelled out to invite us and our dogs to sit inside at the bar. We had the best time meeting a mix of locals and tourists. David was amazing friendly and funny even making me a specialty champagne cocktail with sherbet! We felt like regulars within minutes and will certainly be back! We can’t recommend the Cottage St Pub enough especially when David is bartending.

Great little Bar, great bartender (David) kept us entertained and engaged. I would say he is a Master Mixologist with a great ability to make perfect cocktails, present and past from memory. We were on a 3000 mile road trip and it was a highlight.

Found the bar randomly while walking around the town. Small hole in the wall with the most unique craft cocktails. Not only were the drinks creative and delicious, the bartender was David was incredibly personable. Between meeting new friends, watching the game and chatting with David we didn't want to leave.

An awesome little hole in the wall. Great music playlist, diverse and unique cocktail menu, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere... The list goes on. And it's such a tiny place, you would probably think it only had one bathroom, but you would be wrong. It has two bathrooms. Both unisex. You're welcome.

My wife and I have been stopping by since 2012 and we love it. Smart, cool couple owns the place and they always have a great, eclectic (old Kinks!) mix going when you visit. A real "bar patron's bar," if you know what I mean. Great, interesting drinks, snappy conversation, regulars from BHarbor, a DOG, the whole thing. Don't sit in out seat and we might buy you a drink. Stop by.

Had the Grounds for Divorce - so damn good, reminds me a bit of a Brandy Alexander. Tight little bar, not much starting indoors or out but worth a bit of a wait for a seat or spot at the bar.

I really wanted to love this place. The drinks are unique and the atmosphere feels homey, but I didn't have one drink that I really liked and at $10 per drink I can't say that I'd go back. Three stars because at least we got free popcorn, good conversation, and the drinks are pretty.

Stopped in for a couple drinks with my girlfriend on our last visit and loved it. It's a tiny little pub wedged onto, you guessed it, Cottage St., with some great beers on tap, a friendly bartender, and free popcorn. What could be better? As soon as we sat down, the bartender came up to us, got us our drinks, and started a conversation. I don't know if it's just because I'm from Jersey, but I'm definitely not used to the bartender kicking off a friendly conversation. Regardless, she was friendly and attentive and we drank our drinks and ate our free popcorn and left happy. We'll be back next visit for sure.

Absolutely loved this place. This place is literally a hole in the wall, but don't let the size deceive you. I was recommended this place when I was visiting a small town one hour north of Bar Harbor and I'm so glad it was recommended. The cocktails are phenomenal and I fell in love with the Bee's Knees; I couldn't have just one. Evidently the Moscow Mule is great too!

We almost booked an additional night at our overly priced hotel so we could return. Best bartenders, fantastic cocktails, great vibe - reminded us of favorite 'divey but not divey' cocktail bars in San Francisco. Great conversations with new friends as well - which seems to be a theme in other reviews. Loved sitting at the open-air window bar!

Love love love this place! We were referred here by a family member. David the bartender is very personable and makes the most amazing cocktails. This place is small. Seating for about 12 inside with a few outside tables. This makes this place so comfortable. Everyone talks to each other and has a great time. We will be back again. David really made us feel welcomed.
