The service was the best! The food was delicious! There was more food than we could eat. The prices were very reasonable. I'm pretty sure this is our new go to breakfast place! I have not tried anything other than breakfast but I'm sure it is all good. Make sure you try the homemade English muffins. We had blueberry pancakes, fried over easy eggs, home fries, bacon and sausage.

Great down home kind of establishment. Obviously a family business and you can see multiple generations working here at the same time. Very cute. They bake their own breads, which is a highlight. English muffins and toast are all out of this world. You cannot go wrong with any of their Benedicts. Parking is a little dicey and getting in and out with the Windham traffic can be a challenge. But definitely worth a stop for fans of breakfast and brunch!

I walked in as a out of stater, was looked at (as we fallowed the sign to please wait to be seated) and they just looked at us and never sat us. There was definitely seating, stood there for 10 min than left.

There was a long wait to be seated, but it was well worth it. They have the best hash in New England and the service was wonderful. Next time I'm in Maine, I'll definitely be back for more.

My boyfriend and I just stopped in for brunch before we go on vacation and I am speechless!! I have never felt more welcomed in a restaurant than I have here. They treat you like family and the food is absolutely delicious. Especially the homemade country toast, it’s a must that you try it. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!

Heard that Chutes was great so we decided to try it for breakfast. I ordered the Mini-platter which is 2 eggs, breakfast meat, home fries and an English muffin. We finished our coffee before we got our food. After a 20 minute wait, we got our food. My scrambled eggs were lightly browned and crispy, the home fries were mushy and my bacon was sausage! The "homemade " english muffin was too thick and tough! Other than that not much to say. We may have got them on a bad day, I hope so!

Whenever I'm headed to Windham, I stop here. Best breakfast around. Huge portions at an affordable price. I usually get one of the hash plates, but they also have omletes and pancake options. If you're trying to go in the summer or on the weekend, it's going to be busy, so plan ahead!

Once upon a time I stopped going to Chute's due to a server being impatient and somewhat rude to my aging grandmother. I've moved on and this place can be one of my favorites again. Sorry for holding a grudge!

Great old fashioned diner, and the best place in Windham to get breakfast since the Stone Dog Cafe closed a few years ago. You can't go wrong with one of their hash plates for breakfast, they are very generous and always delicious. The kids really enjoy the pancakes here too. It can get pretty busy on weekends and in summer, so be prepared for a wait (but it is worth it). We don't live in the region anymore, but always stop in when passing through.

Mediocre food, very unfriendly service. Only one other table and my party of two. No coffee warm up, no checking how our food was. Unfriendly, blank waitress finally slapped our check down on our table. When we left, waitress standing right in front of us, no "goodbye, have a nice day, come again".
