Jack Fecteau

Since the change in ownership, the quality of the food has gone down. Dishes that are supposed to be spicy are not. Menu items has disappeared and some of the food tastes sour. No Thanks.

Andy Hebner

Good food, great crab Rangoon!

New owner! The service and meals are amazing!

Todd Rideman

I ordered sesame chicken and they delivered what I think was orange chicken. The food was absolutely disgusting. About the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Steer clear of this gross place.

Been ordering our chinese food at portsmouth as we didn't like the taste of their food months ago. But since we heard they have new owners, we tried it and now we've been ordering here!! Their food is delicious though a bit oily. Other than that, it is great! My whole family loves it!

Place was great under the old owners, but I have tried to eat here 3 times now since the new owners took over hoping this place would turn around because its close to my work. Ordered here today some sweet and sour chicken, came with hair in it I won't be back. The food also sucked the previous 2 times but at least it didn't have hair in it.

Been hearing people say how good it is since new owners took over. Don't know what they were thinking of but ate there tonight and it wasn't good at all. Read one review saying it was oily , yaaaaa it sure was.. the crab rangoons weren't crispy and filling, not sure what it was. One and done ...I feel bad I cheated on Green leaves lesson learned.

Just had our take out from here and I found two black hairs...one long and one short in my Kung Pau chicken. Ewwwww. It was bland with hardly any chicken anyway. Best thing about our dinners were the chicken wings and boneless ribs were ok too. Hence the two stars. Sorry folks.

I've been stopping at this place for 4-5 years, and it's decent Chinese food at a great price. The people are friendly - one person here chats with me every time I go in - and care about their service; I once picked up a takeout order, and she called me as I was pulling out because they forgot the wings. (this was the only order that was ever close to wrong) I've never had something I'd call 'incredible' here, but to get that you need to spend more than 3 times as much, and then you're still gambling. I usually get the pepper steak combo with white rice; it's always good.

It doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside but the food was great. The hot and sour soup was really good. I was surprised and impressed even though the appearance lacked luster.

Jessica Davenport

The nastiest Chinese I've ever had in my life! One bite into the chicken finger and my stomach started churning. Not only that the taste was horrible. The sesame chicken and orange chicken was basically burnt batter. I will never eat from here again!

First ordering with New owners was not a good experience. Took over an hour and half for delivery. Some food was not what I ordered. Overall all the meat was very fatty. The best part of the meal was the pork Fired rice.

Richard Field

Worked in Kittery for years!!! Had lunch their many times and always loved it!!! Great food great portions!!! I have been their twice sense the new owners have taken over. The quality of the food has hit rock bottom. Loved the former owners great people hate to see their hard work go down the drain. I hope things will change back to the way it was. One more chance but do disappointed:(((( My wife and I ordered the pupu platter for two. Both the beef and chicken teriyaki was like eating rubber and had very little taste. We ordered the house fried rice that all so had very little taste to it. Then a side of egg rolls. They were very greasy and heavy tasting as well. I am not trying to get anyone upset but after being a loyle customer for so long it was sad to see the previous owners hard work go down the drain. Good luck in the future and I hope you can get things back to the standards that was their before.Wow have been back twice since I posted this great come back!!! Even better then it was great food great come back!!!!

We stopped by on Friday night. Lee was very helpful educating us on their prep, Tom loves his rice w/o veggies. Done. Hot fresh yummy food. The crab ragoons were crispy and tasty. Can't wait to try the orange chicken that is not too hot and spicy.

Chun Ping Lau is by far the best eatery in Kittery. The food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are great. They have a create-your-own combo option, which I love, as I'm a fairly picky eater. I'd recommend Chun Ping Lau to anyone that's a fan of Chinese food served by a kind family!

James Distasio

Food is dank. Owners are friendly and can even special make you orders the way you like.

Tried it for lunch at work. Food arrived earlie than expected, so I tipped generously. Wish I could take it back, because the food was horrendous. I'm a frequent customer at Green Leaves and Bamboo Garden in York, so I've gotten used to the somewhat greasy, salty type of Chinese food around here, but this was another beast entirely. My General Tso's chicken was mostly breading, and covered in the brown sauce used for beef and broccoli. I thought I had just gotten the wrong item so I went ahead and tried the pork fried rice- the best part of this meal- and it was entirely average. Nothing special there. The egg roll was mostly pastry, with a tiny bit of cabbage that appeared to have been seasoned only with salt. No meat or other vegetables. Disgusting. The pork lo mein was just pork strips, water chestnuts, noodles, and soy sauce. That's no an oversimplification, there were no other seasonings, and there was a puddle of soy sauce at the bottom of the container. The chicken wings were, again, barely seasoned and mostly with salt. I have no idea how the cook managed to make chicken wings more bland than normal, but this guy is a real piece of work. I would order again only if I were assured that everyone involved with the food had been fired and replaced with cooks of some competence. Honestly, this place is awful. If you want to really capture the essence of chun ping lau, go to the beach and eat some uncooked seaweed. Cheaper and most certainly better cooked.

So much better now under new owners!!

Victoria Schnurr

Ordered takeaway and both meals had to be thrown in the bin due to them being inedible. The sesame chicken and general tso’s chicken contained no chicken from what we could find and was only batter. They both had the same sauce only the sesame chicken was simply covered in sesame seeds on top. Very unimpressed if there was an option for no stars this would be the time to use it.
