Went for my first time today. Ordered sesame chicken and pan fried dumplings. My sesame chicken which I requested mild was definitely not!! Everything was very bland and flavorless! First and last time going.

Without question - some of the best food I've ever had. The Pad Thai is TO DIE FOR - it is ridiculous how often I crave it since I had the first sweet bite! This restaurant is a gem tucked into a quiet corner - I absolutely recommend anyone try it!

The atmosphere is very nice. Its in a quiet area, and the service is exceptional. She made certain to check on us several times and the food came out very quickly. Several vegetarian options and all soups have a veggie broth base too. Owner was very friendly and you could see how passionate she was about her business and her customers.

No flavor to any of the food I ordered. Pepper steak, pork fried rice, Rangoon and won ton soup. My scorpion bowl came in a beer glass that was half full of ice with no fruit in the drink for $7.25. and to top it all off, they must use a ton of msg because I can hardly move this morning. I won't return!!!

First of all, to the person who said No.1 Chinese was good. No they're not. And second, the food and service here is excellent. Their tofu, and how it is made, is the best I've had, (and I don't like tofu). Chopsticks is usually my go-to Chinese restaurant, and I would recommend it to anyone. They can be a bit pricey, so it's more of a sit-down place than an every-day place to eat.

First, this place is expensive. I paid my fried rice for $10 and the quality was very poor. what is that pink colored pork??!!! I don't understand. that pink color pork made rice pink and I completely lost my appetite. Second, no utensil. how could I eat this? with hand? UGH never gonna use this place anymore. I wasted my $10!!!!!!!

I got violently ill, throwing up, 2 hours after eating. The General Tso's had a weird taste to it, but I ate it anyway. Big mistake. I'll never order from this place again.

The Rangoons have litterally no filling. The orange chicken is so spicy I cant taste anything. Slightly concerned that some if the orange chicken was grey. The rice is mushy the dumplings are small and the chicken fingers are normal.

Best chinese food in the local area for real. Usually ready for pickup in 20 minutes or less. They have several traditional recipes and don't mind going a little off menu too. Never had a bad dish and the combos for 10 bucks are a great deal. Full bar with decent beers if you eat in (only bottled though)

By far the best Chinese food in Bangor! The couple who both own and run it are wonderful and there have been some amazing new additions to the menu since they took over. If you love Pad Thai, get ready for the best our area has to offer!

Don't go! This place has awful service. Please take note that the past positive reviews here are from when the sweetest lady, Christine owned Chopsticks. Her name is written in many of these reviews. However there is new management, and Christine does not own this restaurant anymore. The new owners are hostile, when I simply didn't get all of my order there was no professionalism whatsoever and I felt incredibly uncomfortable, the lady was fiesty and didnt want to deal with it. I dont usually speak up but this experience was enough to write a review and humbly say I would never be back. #ourfamilymisseschristine.

We love eating here and drive all the way from Ellsworth to do so. Have never had a bad meal in all the years we have been patronizing Chopsticks. I love the fact that they actually use real asian veggies like choy sum & bok choy in the dishes like Moo Goo Gai Pan (which is my favorite thing on the menu) Really nice super friendly people too. I travel to Asia frequently so I feel as far as authentic, it is about as authentic as you will find in Maine for Chinese food.

We ordered food for take out to our school but they didnt give us utensils. My friends and I could not eat the food that we ordered. I called them but their excuse was so funny. They said not all people wanted utensils so they didnt give to us. What so hard about to say they just forgot to put them in? So we bring these food to home. I've tried many Chinese food places in Bangor, Maine and this one in particular is definitely not my favorite. They were extremely friendly, but their food was not great. I ended up pretty sick the next day, and will not be going back. Their rice was good, but their meat is almost not edible.

Well I had high hopes because I thought Christine would have taught them well but that was alot of years ago i guess I just found out they delivered so we called i was very disappointed the chicken fingers and the chicken wings had been recooked a number of times, most we couldn't eat. The pork Fried rice had very little pork and very bland. Noodles has been my chinese place I believe it will continue to be even OJ's does not compare to them
