I had previously ordered food from here many times from Grubhub before Champions dropped them, so I was very familiar with their pub fare before visiting. It was a dive bar in the best way possible. I felt like I probably could have started up a conversation with any person there. From my very first visit I had people introducing themselves, and it made it feel super comfortable! Totally going back soon!

Champs is a neighborhood sports bar with attitude! Solid pub grub made by cooks who care about their product. Nice beer selection and plenty of spirits. Historic venue without the polish or pretense. Young and old throughout the day with an influx of the younger crowd late evenings. Offers plenty of TV's for viewing, foosball table, darts, pool, trivia, and even corn hole on the no frills deck. A fantastic add to this place is the owner loves music and there are always local musicians to bigger acts scheduled to perform plus patrons can get in on the act twice a week with karaoke. All thus come with great, quirky, people who drop the pretense and live life!

We loved this place. Ricky, who waited on us was the greatest. He gave us great service and was very attentive. We got the super nachos-it was a large plate of them. We all got side salads; they were large side salads. Coffee was hot & good. This is in a old historic train station which has not been used for 50 years. When we called to see if the football game was being shown on their tv’s, they said they would have put it on but it was being shown. They have NFL package. My sister asked if coming alone she would be safe in the area at night and they said it is a safe place because they have security at night. 5 stars for sure everybody in the place was having fun.

Always good music and great food. I was the only person in line to get a drink and the bartenders didn't notice me. Not sure why they are always slow to serve drinks. Think they were hoping I would go away. Too bad, my friends like it there. I have to buy 2 drinks cuz the bartenders are slow.
