Only been here once so limited experience. Not great, but not bad. I'll be generous and give 4 stars simply due to the limited options in Maine. Truly 3.5 stars. Drunken noodles were good (4 stars), pineapple fried rice was just ok, but much flavor or yellow curry (3 stars).

My son loves the crispy chicken in peanut sauce over noodles. It was once on the specials list, and the owner is kind enough to make it for us whenever we ask for it. We can never remember the name of the other dish we most like there, but again, they always work with us to figure it out. And it is ALWAYS delicious.

The restaurant was extremely dirty and run down. Fingernail clippings on the bar, dirty dishes left out. Asked for light sauce and seemed like they put extra. The food was really good, until I found 3 or 4 black hairs in the rice. Yum!

I have now eaten here four times and each time has been a total surprise.Nadia always waits on us with a smile and suggestions. The egg rolls/spring rolls are freshly made, crispy and yummy. The Pho is unsurpassed and I will try the Chili Shrimp again with #4 heat. It is way out of my way so I have to make sure I stop on the way south from Portland. Do not miss this delight

Goof food and service. Haven't had any fried rice as good as their Indonesian Fried Rice. A must-try. Also, their Spicy Tune Tempura Roll is amazing! Their Tom Kha one of the best, plus if you order the family portion, you get a giant bowl which you can share with at least 4 people.

I used to work here. Authentic with huge portions the pad thai is enough to feed 3 people (only 12$ i think) and they have a full bar!

The food here is good , really good. Unfortunately the evening we were there they appeared to be grossly understaffed with one man working as host, telephone order taker, server and bartender. It took quite some time to even get our drink order in. Finally one item that we ordered and we're charged for was never delivered. Normally I would have said something during the course of the meal but they only came to check on us when all the other food had been eaten.

My favorite place to get Thai food. Best Chicken Pad Thai around. Nice quiet atmosphere. Friendly service. There's never a wait. They seat you right away. Lunch specials are a great deal.

Wasn't anything great, I ordered the bacon pad thai and in the description said that it came with thick chunks of bacon. When it arrived I was surprised to see that it was clearly Oscar myer precooked bacon. Very disappointing considering the last time I was there I enjoyed my meal.

So happy to have a new local favorite. The ginger soup is amazing. We also mixed it up to try different options. The Choba Noodles were good but my wife's Sweet Sausage Pork Fried Rice was excellent. The portions were very generous. We also had several pieces of nigiri and it was as fresh as tasty as I've ever had it. We'll be back for sure!!

Beautiful location! Their food is great, the only recommendation I can make is to bring people with you and expect to share your meal. Their fresh spring rolls are a great place to start. If you like pho, you will not be disappointed. Their noodle bowls or vermicelli salads are good too

Shrimp with Eggplant KRA-POW. Generous portions. A full meal. Great flavour with fresh chilli, basil, onion, mushrooms and eggplant in a brown sauce. Service was well done on Sunday afternoon for family of 4. We rated a 4 because the facilities are average.

The food here is so good. My favorite is the Crispy Pad Thai. The coconut soup is so tasty. Tonight my wife had Pumpkin Curry Scallops. The sauce was amazing.

Outstanding thai food. Maybe one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Mixed drinks (Pink Wink & Zombie) were very good and well balanced. Meals had the perfect amount of spice and very flavorful. Atmosphere was very cozy immersive. If you want a break from the traditional seafood, or if you want a great meal, I would visit. I will definitely be back.

Delicious and authentic Thai food served in a family-run restaurant with cozy atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are great. Definitely a must go if in the area!

Overall this place was enjoyable. We ordered a couple of their specialty cocktails that were tasty and poured fairly strong. The sushi was fresh tasting and had a decent selection of rolls to choose from. The service was very good as the staff was very friendly and offered many suggestions. The main negative is that the ambiance of the place is a bit odd. It's dated and not the nicest inside the restaurant. The music selection did not match and the place was littered with knick knacks that made the walls feel cluttered. That is a minor negative as the food was good and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely return

Just ate there for the first time, and compared to slightly more expensive thai food in Portland, this blows it away. Everything was great, the waiter was really nice and the prices were great.

My wifes friend bit down on a small rock the size of a blueberry in her chicken pad thai. They tried to convince her it was a piece of noodle or an egg. When she brought it back they gave her a new order but said it was a chicken bone. We've never seen chicken bone with quartz in it....just saying. How a rock gets into the pad thai, I don't know. Maybe it was dropped on the floor and picked back up???

Don't let the outside fool you. Great food within! We've mainly done take out from here and the food is always quickly brought out and is delicious. The sushi is fresh and had a good selection of choices. Thai food is great and some interesting items come up on the specials so dont forget to check them out when you get in!

I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars because that's what my curry was to me tonight.. it was a little wattery with not enough vegetables or flavor for my taste. I asked for 4 stars of spice out of 5 total but got about a 2 star spicy level. Nice kid working there at the front desk. I'll have to try something new next time.

Always greeted by a friendly person in the lobby. Usually offered a drink while I wait for my take out order. Good portion sizes of Fried Rice and Pad Thai and reasonably priced. Allow modifications and are attentive to special requests, such as "light on the peanuts" and "1 star" for spice level. Fresh spring rolls are delicious.

I've seen negative and positive reviews on here, but I will say this much, Chaba Thai is the best in southern Maine! I have had thai from all over and I keep coming back to Chaba, which is great because they're close to my home! I recommend you try them. Small place with friendly people and great food!
