This is a good place to get sushi. I don't eat it very often, but I've been to one other place in the area, as well as a spot in Brunswick. Compared to those places, Bua has decent prices and the sushi came out great. I usually get the safe options, like a California or Philadelphia roll but on my 2nd visit here, I branched out. I ended up getting a combination plate which had Nigiri, Sashimi, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and a California roll. I discovered I am not a fan of sashimi (fresh fish) but the presentation of the plate was amazing (see photos). I also had the spring rolls which were crispy and tasty. I would certainly come back again to try other items on the menu :)

A friend shared that this was one of their favorite Thai restaurants in the area and we decided to stop in on a Saturday night. The food was amazing, served very quickly, and the prices were very reasonable! We will definitely be visiting again as it's now in our top 10 favorites!

Excellent experience! Very pleasant staff! I moved from PA and looked for a nice Sushi restaurant. Min (Spelling?) was an excellent waiter and made nice conversation with me. He was very knowledgeable. He explained to me all about the different Saki and let me try several of them. I couldn't ask for a more hospitable and wonderful place to eat. The whole staff notices you and makes sure to say hello or good bye to you. The food was excellent! I tried two soups and the sushi sampler. It was the one of the most enjoyable dining experience I have ever had. I felt like I went over a friends house to eat...except paid for it. The price was excellent. I bought two bottles of Saki, two bowls of soup, and the sushi sampler, all for only $38.00.

I rarely do reviews but, when I do, it is because the food is really excellent. Tried their fried rice and basil and chili with tofu. It was excellent and the portion sizes are good! I am very picky and know real Authentic food when I see it. Seriously, you cant go wrong. Authentic food with flavor.

On our first experience, we did a sushi order to go (which, I know, isn't the ideal circumstance to truly appreciate a dish) but it was delicious! Easily the best sushi experience we've had in the area so far. We're definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Wonderful people and fantastic food. If you are new to Thai food or haven't experimented then the staff or owner will walk you through it so you can find things that are familiar while you learn to appreciate what they offer. This is a go to restaurant for my daughter and I to visit when we have a girls day!

Had the cucumber salad which has a sweet type vinigar on it. Out of this world. Had the dish called Tommy, which is suishi with coconut shrimp in the center with some veggies and rice. Also great. I haven't had anything I don't like. Alway fresh and clean tasting.

My family and I went in for dinner, I ordered the Red dragon sushi, it was good, my oldest son and his girlfriend shared chicken Thai lomein and my youngest had teriyaki salmon, my husband ordered tom yum soup with chicken. My husband has a sea food sensitivity so he figured he'd order soup because of the description "Choice of meat in the Thai signature soup cooked with Galangal, lime juice, lemon grass, Kaffir Leaves, onions, mushrooms, tomato, and scallions" it looked good but as soon as he started to eat he could instantly taste that it had some sea food flavor to it, our waitress couldn't be found, my oldest son went to ask someone about the soup and the ingredients, he was told just vegetables. By the time our waitress got to see how everything was everyone else at the table was done eating! The waitress had no clue what was in the soup! After talking to the cooks she found out that there was oyster sauce in the soup! I think that listing all ingredients on the menu is very important considering other patrons could have a food allergy! After telling the waitress he wasn't going to eat it she said she would put his name in the books for our next visit! I told her to please just take the soup off the check! After talking to my husband we will not be going back! We had high hopes as we have heard from friends that their food was great!

This is one of those places you go and everyone knows your name and your favourite wine and sushi roll. Minh and Kwan (the managers) have made this place what it is. The sushi menu is extensive and outstanding (meat and vegetarian friendly), and the Thai dishes are incredible too. Plenty of our friends have celebrated their birthdays here and Boa Thai always makes it festive, we have been to their sushi making classes and have learned how to make our favourite rolls, we've have them cater our own parties. You cannot go wrong. Everything else in the area is sub-standard and overpriced thai and sushi compared to these guys.

While it might not look like it on the outside this is the best sushi in town. There are several options for sushi in Lewiston/Auburn but I think Bua is the best. The other food is really good too. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The service is fast and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Asian eatery.
