Went to eat for lunch and the pizza was delicious!!! The unique variety of toppings with the wood fire cooking made these pizzas stand above the rest in Bar Harbor!!! Got the Local Farmers and When Pigs Fly and was not disappointed!!! The food came out very hot and cooked to perfection! If only one critique... it took about 45 minutes to get our food which I understand pizza takes a little longer but was well worth it!

Blaze has a great selection of beers that are not just the everyday run of the mill. I had a few nice Maine brews here which I did not see at other places. I have the pulled pork tacos when I was there and they were very delicious. It seemed like a great portion for the right price. my only real complaint was the service was slow to start but once we did get some, they were very attentive and nice. Sitting in the patio area for dinner is nice if you want to do some people watching as they walk by.

5 stars for the beer and bar service. Showed up on Tue night after dinner elsewhere for biz trip, peak season, and recieved great flight of beers and excellent service. Next guy's pizza and oysters at bar looked delicious. Almost ordered dozen oysters but held back to make room for beer. Cheers!

Me and my wife went to the Blaze while on vacation in Acadia. We are both vegan so we ordered a “Build your own pizza” with soy cheese, tomato sauce and peppers and onions. It was AMAZING! Highly recommend. The brick oven gives the pizza a great taste.

We had a lovely romantic dinner here with an amazing server! I got the main boiled lobster and my boyfriend got the steak dish with mushrooms! Both were absolutely delicious! I was extremely happy with our meal here. It was a bit crowded but we didn’t have to wait long. The atmosphere was nice too. The place seemed pretty popular too. Again I loved the waitress who was so sweet and helpful, I wish I remembered her name.

If you wish to be treated like a POW and served water disguised as a cocktail!! ..CONGRATULATIONS ! you have found the place. The bartender seemed as disinterested as a teenager going through a geography lesson. On being informed that the drinks were mediocre at best ..she kept repeatedly badgering us about how the "drinks" were ...hoping that our opinion would change in the face of her persistent obnoxiousness. there are plenty of great places around ...this is an afterthought at best and a disgrace at worst !

Love the wood grilled food. We were here 3 times and ordered food to go so we could have some on our drive home. The food is so good and so fresh. Everything we tried was super tasty. I was partial to the bacon wrapped scallop appetizer. It was superb. The lobster stew was fantastic with so much lobster. We ordered 3 of the pizzas on the menu and they were all fantastic tasting. We tried 4 of the desserts and I LOVED the Lemon dessert and the GF White Chocolate strawberry shortcake was a close 2nd for me. Lissette was our server the first time and she was such a sweetheart and attentive. Pav was a great bartender and his drinks were top notch. He was our server for the other two times we were ate and he was so kind as well. This is a must visit stop in Bar Harbor and they have a location in Bangor which I am sure is just as superb.

By far the best place to eat in bar harbor. Lots of healthy options to dine. They have a wood fire oven. I did not try the pizza but looks good. Service is quick. Craft beers selection is wide with focus on local production. It is pretty small so gets packed very easily at dinner time. They do accept reservations.

I really enjoyed eating here and would highly recommend. Though the food was pricey compared to my normal go to places it was really amazing. I got the pulled pork tacos and fell in love. They were flavorful and everything I ever wanted from a taco. I would tell you to try them for sure. My boyfriend got the full rack of ribs and managed to eat all of them somehow. I only stole a small taste and the meat was super tender and the sauce a perfect sweet and spicy mix. The fries met our qualifications for a good fry. Come try this place for yourself!

Such an excellent menu. Cannot go wrong with any options!! The oysters... were fantastic!! Chowder here is still rated my second favorite. I would definitely try it again here. Hubs got some fabulous pork belly pops and chicken skewers.... mum and dad got got some fantastic risotto and ramen with lobster! Everything was delicious. Service was great. Unique menu and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A little expensive, but about on par with surrounding restaurants. Excellent, extensive choice of beers on tap including some of their own. I personally had their Low Tide stout and thoroughly enjoyed it. Large portions for everything. Oh, and their fries are great. Our service was solid despite it being very busy at the time.

This place was a happy surprise! We had wandered around late at night looking for a place and we spotted this restaurant! The outdoor seating was quaint and well lit with bistro string lights. Our waitress was friendly and reliable. The menu is very large, it was hard to choose just a few things! We enjoyed several large fresh salads and a scrumptious wood fired vegetable pizza! The pizza was absolutely delicious- the sauce was sweet and tangy and the crust was cooked to perfection! The goat cheese was also a fantastic touch. All around great place for a meal!

Small place but the patio was covered and warm. They dont have alot of vegan options besides creating your own pizza. It was really good except they burnt the crust so I couldn't focus on the tasty part... oh well. I still ate it, I know it's hard to cook with vegan cheese when it doesn't melt like dairy cheese.

Nice dining experience. Table service and take out available. I had chicken curry and rice/vegetables. It was really good and I will be sure to drop in again. The restaurant is in a little strip of businesses on Huntington just west of Brigham Circle on the MBTA green E line.

I have only been here once, but my 5 star rating applies to the cocktail I had. It was a blueberry mule and it was just absolutely perfect. There was just the right amount of ginger beer, just the right amount ice, and the blueberries on top were an awesome touch. It made the blueberry flavor that much more blueberry-y. So I can't speak for anything else on the menu but their blueberry mule is absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend it.

The restaurant abience is pretty nice. I ordered their catch of the day which was really excellent - I finished the whole meal! Service was good and waiter was friendly! Try not to order a pizza though because it's just average. Overall - I highly recommend this place for seafood!

Ordered blueberry and habanero ribs to start. The meat was succulent, falling off the bone, tender, but not too juicy or fatty. The sauce was sticky and sweet with just a bit of heat. The pizza I ordered was baked just right, in between crunchy and doughy, and the sauce tasted fresh. 5/5 can't wait to visit again.

This place is awesome! We came here looking for a break in several days straight of seafood. I’m sure their seafood dishes are equally as good, but we got a pizza that was fantastic- chorizo, apple, etc..very unique. We also tried the duck burger; very delicious!

We spent a few days in Bar Harbor and ate at several places. This place was really unique and the food was just awesome. I wish I had taken pics of the food the first night but did the second night. We sat at the bar both times to avoid the wait. The bartender Joe was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend the pork belly lollipops as appetizer. The Duck and pork belly burgers were amazing and the hangar steak tacos with their jerk seasoning were just perfect. We also tried the risotto appetizer and had a flight of six kinds of their local brews. I cannot give this place any higher than a five but wish I could. This place stands out not only in Bar Harbor, but would excel in any US city! Such creativity and love of culinary excellence deserve a high rating! Will go again if we get back to Bar Harbor!

I went to this place after looking at the ratings. The atmosphere was nice and staff was great as well. I got the tacos with the duck fat fries. Was not very impressed with either the fries or the tacos. Maybe the other menu items were better. But I don’t recommend those two items.

Had a wonderful drink, their daily special:. Rose, peach schnapps and soda water. Very nice. We sat at bar and had oysters, poutine, and bacon lollipops. Lollipops could have used another 2 minutes in oven but everything else was excellent. Knowledgeable and friendly bartender. We'll be back.

Okay I can't say enough good things about this place. We set on the patio, and the staff was super friendly. Food was delicious we had pizza and burgers. It is a pet-friendly place and we sat on the patio with our dog. The server brought out a small bowl of water and set it under the table so everyone was cared for. If we didn't live two thousand miles away I would visit again soon but I guess we'll have to wait. Really great place highly recommended

LOVE coming to this place every time we're in Bar Harbor. We've been for lunch and dinner and its hard to say which is better b/c both are amazing! Always have friendly waitstaff and bartenders and lots of great craft on tap. Their dog-friendly patio is much appreciated! Will be back again and again.

Excellent wood burning creations, extensive menu and very kid friendly make this a winner on Bar Harbor’s crowded Main Street. Pizzas, shellfish, burgers, tacos, steak and more there is something for everyone. Very long list of craft beer with many local names. Outdoor seating under an awning was very pleasant.

After a week of overeating too much, we wanted something a little lighter. We stopped here thinking we could get a personal size pizza. While we couldn't, we could share a pizza, half his way, half my way. It was excellent! We've never had wood fired pizza, but I will totally have it again! Our server was fast, friendly and helpful, working with us to get our order just right. I highly recommend, both the restaurant and the pizza!

Food was tasty, but not spectacular. Beer choices are plentiful. Our bartender treated us like we didn't exist, and he wouldn't even make eye contact with me. My wife and I kicked ourselves for ordering food even after realizing we found a dud. Lesson learned for sure.

Food was amazing, but come with the price tag$$ I'd take then5 hour drive for the duck fat French fries again anytime. Extensive beer list had something for everyone. Our waitress was preoccupied so it made for a much longer lunch experience then we wanted. All and all a good choice.
