My husband and I had breakfast for the 1st time during our Labor Day weekend in Old Orchard Beach. The restaurant environment is lively and the seating is quaint, but comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. Our bartender, Sheena was superb. Excellent customer service!! We are looking forward to our next trip so we can experience having dinner. We are told by locals that we would not be disappointed.

Trying to hard… Just another one of these places that want to over fancy their food. Just had their house mussels they added pancetta and herds to them which sounds good but just made them extremely salty. I opted for the roasted chicken because again most of the menu was strange, over thought and/or overpriced. Well, the chicken was way overcooked, the tiny amount of rice was bland and the dipping sauce not to my liking. The best thing on the place (the seasonal vegetables) was minuscule maybe 3 or 4 bites. They just need to focus on getting the food cook properly and back off on all the crazy ingredients! Basically a tourist trip at this point.

If I could've done zero stars I would have. I was on vacation with my family and decided while my kids and wife were spending money in the amusement park I would stop in and have a beer and a shot. The bartender was absolutely rude and acted like I should have not even come in the bar. Shipyard Summer had just ended so I got the Oktoberfest and a shot of Petrone tequila. The beer was great but the shot glass was so hot I still have a blister on my finger. In a snobby way she asked if I would like it chilled when I brought it to her attention like I shouldn't have asked. You acted like an ass and I hope you enjoy your next customer more than me because no one deserves to be treated like that especially when there are Customer in a business that pays you to serve people.

Service was very good. Staff worked together to make it a pleasant experience. Price were a bit high but the food was delicious. Steakhouse burger was one of the best burgers ever. Steamed muscle appetizer was absolutely fabulous, both spicy and regular. Abundant portion of fish served with fish and chip dish. Lobster tacos had minimal lobster. Side salad was fresh. Great music playing in the background. All around. Nice experience.

Four stars because it gets high marks for the most important aspects of spending money to dine out. The Original Burger was cooked to perfection and topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. We didn't have to wait to be seated, nor did we wait long for our food. The atmosphere was hip, clean and warm; everyone in there seemed happy to be there! And our waiter, Kenzie was both professional and personable. She tended to us perfectly, making sure we never had to flag her down for a refill, yet she didn't overdo it...sincere, more than competent, and truly lovely. It would have been five stars if they offered hand cut fries in addition to steak fries, just my personal preference. I'll recommend Big Daddy's to friends and tell them to ask for Kenzie.

Visited Saturday before labor day weekend @ 5:30 pm and 2 of us were able to sit down even with the fairly small dining area. We weren't sure what we wanted but wife ordered blueberry martini and I got basic lemonade. It came right away, cold and delicious with free refills. Martini took 5 mins and was only OK for $11. Nice TV's decent bar, comfortable and cool, friendly staff. Food presentation is excellent, all the dishes we saw were very nicely arranged. Basil pesto Pan seared Salmon Al dente veggies dish was terrific, wife said 5 stars.Teramisu was fresh and tasty. Service was very good. Worth checking out.

OMG!!!! The drinks, The Food, The Service!!!!! Absolutely the best for OOB!! Top Notch. The cook is from the South, but boy does he know how to cook for the North! We had the crab cakes to start, only two but I craved more. The lobster BLT was the best, and again I craved more. Prices are a little high but honestly for this goodness it was soooooo worth it! Small place but worth the wait 100%! You will not be disappointed!!

Small Gem in the Heart of Downtown! My friends and I almost missed this tiny place in the heart of OOB. It was a gem of a find. The food is wonderful. The bartender and wait staff are attentive and funny. The service is personal and great! A must have is the Lobster BLT. A burst of flavors and lots and lots of lobster. Don't overlook this great place just opposite the amusement park on West Grand Avenue!

We absolutely loved this place! My entire family are here and the food was delicious. The drink options were good. But the food man - it looks like a little beach dive bar, but do not be deceived. I got a pasta dish, my mom got a lobster flat bread, my wife got the brussel sprouts, and all of them were really good!

Always a great, fresh meal here. Whenever I'm in OOB we eat here. The risotto, crab cakes, fried haddock, and burgers are all fantastic. .. you can't go wrong. The house made pickles are great too!

Arrived in Old Orchard for the first night of our vacation with six hungry mouths including a vegetarian. Scanning the restaurant descriptions on the way in for something that would accommodate all our tastes turned up Big Daddy's. Although not a big place, we got lucky and found a table right away. The run of the mill corner pub interior doesn't hint at the smattering of out of the ordinary offerings and interesting tweaks to the more usual menu items. The pork rinds appetizer was light and crispy, and the house made pickles were a small jar of thinly sliced cucumbers and jalapenos that were super flavorful. Several lobster sandwiches and a lobster BLT were devoured, the grilled watermelon shrimp salad was declared delicious, and our most challenging dinner companion to satisfy praised the Flower Child sandwich as amazing. Combined with a friendly and efficient waitress, a good selection of adult beverages, a view of the amusement park from our table, and reasonable prices, this was the perfect start to our vacation.

One of my favorite places to visit in old orchard beach. The food always is delicious and fresh. The drink menu should have something most people will enjoy. One thing to keep in mind is that the place is quite small and fills quickly. Getting a table can sometimes be tricky, but definitely worth it. Service is usually prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are vacationing (or live) the old orchard beach area.

It is my first time here at OOB and Big Daddy’s was the first restaurant we tried and we LOVED it! We enjoyed it so much that we have gone multiple times! The strawberry walnut salad with salmon and the creole roast chicken are my favorites thus far!!! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the chicken was sooooo tender! Not only is the food delicious but the servers are so friendly and helpful!!!

Great little bar in a hectic setting. Best to just sit inside and watch all of that go by, while drinking one of their beers and eating a burger. The food was great. There's only room inside for 20 people or so, between the bar and tables. There were a couple of tables outside as well, if the weather is nice.
