We have been dining at Asian Taste for years and we love the great hospitality and value here. They don't skimp on the cocktails or meals and quality is above average. Marissa obviously loves her job and does it very well. One of the best small town ethnic restaurants in Maine.

I have visited twice since the new location. My first visit I was impressed and wanted to share my experience through a five star review of the food and polite and friendly service. I since have gone back (takeout on 7/31/19) and I changed my 5 star to a 3 star based solely on ONE very unfriendly and rude cashier. I agree with other reviewers, there is definitely room for improvement in customer courtesy.

I've been here 4 times now the staff is friendly and have been more then happy with the food in the past and will go back again I was disappointed today ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was chicken fingers with a dipping sauce. Very disappointing wasn't even close to what its supposed to be.

We order from here all the time. Yeah, it does lack in atmosphere I guess, but the food is GREAT. And the prices are even better. They're also very prompt and courteous. I also have to say that we've never experienced it being overly loud when we were there.

What’s to say about this little gem. It’s easy to miss driving by but if you can find it. You will be shocked by the taste and the friendliness of the staff. The food is on par with Green Gingers in Tilton at a fraction of the price.

went yesterday, food was good, Staff were not to aware of patrons around them. Swearing up a storm, lack of attention to customers needs, I had to ask for menu, water, napkins and a take out container x2. seems like a hang out for the staff more then customers.

This is my favorite Chinese takeout/delivery place in the area. The food is always good, I have never been disappointed. The prices are great and orders are ready promptly. The best part of this place is the takeout lunch buffet, as long as the box can close its like 7 bucks with a can of soda.

Don't order the curry. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. Plenty of veggies, but nothing else came out good. The chicken was really greasy and honestly awful to eat. The curry was almost flavorless, seemed like it was watered down. The platter was pretty good, but it's hard to ruin appetizers. Overall very dissapointed. I'm sorry Asian taste, no hard feelings, I know things happen, but I know my curry, and yours needs work.

What a gem! We were sick to death of all the places we had been getting chinese for YEARS! I googled chinese restaurants in my area & this came up as the highest rated. It was a little on the outskirts of our town & further than we usually like to drive for takeout, but we gave them a try. I called in a fairly large order & the woman told me 20 minutes. Having never have needed to wait more than 10 minutes, even when feeding 50, I arrived early. Upon arrival I noticed there are only TWO people working here! They do all the cooking, ring up all sales, take all orders-everything! This is a takeout only place. They have a few chairs to wait but just don't be early & you'll be fine. My order came to just over $50. The young woman said I could take a large soda for free. There is a cooler in the waiting area with individual cans & 2 liter sodas. They have a takeout lunch buffet in the area also with a sign that says you get a soda with the lunch buffet & you can fill the container with as much food as you can, they just ask that it's able to close. The food was so fresh & tasted so good! We can't wait to try more things from them

Nice people, but many problems with my takeout. Paid for sweet and sour shrimp, received chicken instead. Chicken chowmein had a strange taste, discarded it completely. The egg roll was average in taste. Stale fortune cookies. The sweet and sour chicken consists of pieces of very fried and very dry chicken (instead of the shrimp I ordered), and only a a very sweet red sauce accompanying it. The vegetable soup was favorable, but somewhat greasy. I hope they improve.

Great food and it's local. Easy to get to for boscawen or penacook reaidents without traveling all the way into concord. Food is always great and the service is always friendly. And the prices are great compared to a lot of other area chinese restaurants

The food is at a good constant safe temperature. It's a clean place. The staffs communication skills aren't the greatest...but good enough to get the orders correct. The location is good, with amole parking. There is a lunch buffet available. Not for dinner though. The prices are fair and competitive. Three stars due to the lack of adequate seating for multiple people while waiting for your order.

Reasonable prices but food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's really great, other times it's terrible. The owners are very sweet people and their little girl is a delight and exceptionally intelligent. Good for a quick take out lunch. No seating.

The girls running the counter were very rude and the owner himself charged my boyfriend and I a couple extra dollars for no reason. Not to mention, they would not let me order what I wanted to order. What I wanted was, orange chicken and vegetable lo mein. I asked if I could swap out an egg roll for lo mein and pay extra, they said no “I’d have to order it separately.” So, I tried ordering two side orders. They wouldn’t let me do that either. They wanted to charge me for two huge meals. As a 120 pound girl you can only eat so much. You see, I’d rate them 0 stars if given the option. If I were you, I’d go somewhere else for Chinese food. Maybe somewhere that’s friendly, won’t charge you extra, and give you what you want.

Serve the most delicious won ton soup; lots of wonderful veggies and mushrooms. Love it. Food portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. Lacks atmosphere but worth going for the food. Like any food establishment you rarely get 100% satisfaction each time. If you've tried once and had a negative experience try it again. And no, the food is NOT microwaved prepared foods. My friend has been going to this restaurant for years often 2-3 times a week because she loves the particular meal she orders and even she's had bad experiences like some mentioned below ~ kids, loud TV, radio, waitstaff dressed inappropriately and the owner screaming at waitstaff. So......she gets food to go. End of problem. LOL I might mention I live in Kennebunk which is 27 miles away and I'd drive to Asian Taste just for the WonTon Soup. Kennebunk has a few chinese restaurants but not as good as Asian Taste IMHO.
