The food and service is excellent. You get complimentary hot tea that is wonderful. There is a good selection of hot food, cold foods/salads, and a nice dessert bar.

Came here for the buffet with my mom and everything was fine at first. Three selection was very small but I was assured it was good. Service was prompt and friendly. Then I bit into a chicken finger and once my teeth broke through the breading it was like I was biting a hunk of rubber. It was so singularly disgusting that my appetite ran away and I was unable to even think about eating anything else. Wasted time and money. I will never be back.

Incredible food, the best fries rice I've had, fast service (took less than 10 minutes to order and be served), the staff was very friendly, a peaceful and vibey atmosphere, and was also served tasty tea and a type of chip fry combo.

The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten: the chicken was rubbery and the dumplings were burnt. Did not finish our meal and will not eat here again.

We gave the new owners a second chance. First time was terrible. This time worse. They serve chicken with broccoli and leave the skin on. Some pieces were just skin. I threw all away except broccoli. The rice was dry and just terrible. I gave it one star for the broccoli and fortune cookies. I also ordered beef teriyaki and they gave me chicken, and it was just not edible. Needless to say No More Chances!

Food is still great even with a change in management. Waitresses were kind and helpful and worked well as a team clearing and resetting the tables around us. Still my favorite spot for a quick clean lunch buffet.

I read the review, as i have never been here before. I went in for a take out. The girl taking my order (in person) acted put-out that i didnt know what i wanted. When i ordered a dinner and asked for a chicken finger side, she looked at me with a distugusting glare accompanied with a heavy sigh. She said my meal didnt come with a side. I told her that i wanted to simply add the side and she got rude and repeated herself. I asked how do i get chicken fingers and she informed me that i had to buy a second meal. I will definately not come back and definately wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I stopped in for the lunch buffet today and man, was it worth it. This is a small, unassuming restaurant that you might otherwise ignore, but trust me: try it. The buffet foods are better than most other places' full-priced offerings, although the selection is limited. But let's be honest, the huge buffets kind of make you feel like a pig at a trough, doesn't it? Excellent chicken wings, lo mein, dumplings, and their take on pad thai was really tasty. I usually don't go for the Chinese-murican soups but their hot & sour and egg drop were so good I might be converted. The only thing I miss from big buffets is the soft serve machine which, to me, is the ultimate ending to a GI splurge; all they appear to have here is peaches or cherry Jell-O. The staff were really friendly and I could tell they were on first-name basis with some regular customers, as noted in other reviews. Quiet, but I can't remember the last noisy Asian restaurant I was in. Pretty clean bathrooms. Better than most small places. At the end of it all, the buffet wasn't even $10! I will absolutely be back!

My husband and I have been ordering take out from here for 4 years! They make great food at an reasonable cost and they are fast! They have late hours and they are always so nice to us on the phone and at pickup. I always ask for the kung pow tofu which isn’t on the menu but it’s delicious! We had one bad experience here where the food wasn’t as fresh, but 9 times out of 10 the veggies are fresh and the sauces are just right and flavorful. They are very accommodating. They are a staple for a satisfying meal whenever we are in a pinch.

Chinese buffett all the way! Egg rolls, dumplings, and chicken fingers are must-haves. Service can be a little rocky, and it takes an average of five minutes to get a refill on your soft drinks, but the food is good, the cost is reasonable, and if you're very hungry you'll leave very happy. Not often too busy, but they do a good job of keeping new and fresh foods out on the steam tables.

We have eaten here several times. The food and service have been consistently good. The restaurant is not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. In the late afternoon, we have encountered little to no wait times.

Edit: Since the new owners took over I'm sad to say that the food has gone severely downhill. They did not keep any of Sue's recipes and it was a grave mistake. The only good news is that there are some great Asian restaurants just across the bridge into Portland! Don't waste your time or money visiting here anymore. Original: Sue is the best and her mai tais are amazing!!! Also, best crab rangoon in maine!

We were looking forward and expecting a great meal. The write up on this place was awesome, over the top. What a disappointment . Nothing was fresh. Highly processed foods. Loaded with sugar. Did not taste like oriental food. Not even close. Dessert was just jello and can fruit . We were so disappointed. Never going back.

My fiance and i went here because we were craving chinese. I saw it was rated almost 5 stars so we tried it out. Very good. Plate sizes were big but not monsterous; definitely took it home in a box. We missed the buffet but that was fine. I recommend eating here if you like a quite atmosphere, good service, & great food. Which...who wouldn't right!?
