Use to love this place .... Customer service is HORRIBLE it has really gone downhill VERY RUDE will not go there again and my food was cold when I got it. They want to Nickle and dime you for everything, for take out VERY SAD how greedy people are... Again very very RUDE except one guy named Corey he was awesome very customer service friendly too bad this awesome person works for greedy people whom when they are wrong, they have your money and don't care about anything else. The chicken was so over cooked it was uneatable and they are not reasonable with their prices ! They now charge you 1.00 for any sauce that is over "their" limit ....... CRAZY sorry there are too many places to eat for them to treat people the way they do. While I was there, 2 other customers were complaining on how rude these people are (except Corey) he was awesome!!! Will never go BK bc of the way the others talk to you and treat paying customers, like the only thing they care about is getting your money

By Far the Best Chinese Restaurant with in 200 miles, very clean family owned restaurant, Quality of Food and Service has always been 1st Class. Shrimp with Lobster sauce, Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Rolls is the Best. Excellent prices.

I thought that this place would be great, given all the reviews. Prices were reasonable; we paid $26 for two people, including an appetizer and entrees ($7-8 all-day specials). But there were a number of things that made not even that price point worth it. Cleanliness of the restaurant and facilities was questionable. Sweet tea tasted old. The entrees were not good at all. My husband and I ordered two different dishes, but both were dowsed in a funky, soupy brown gravy. Couldn't eat more than 25% of it. The only redeeming factor were the eggs rolls, which were delicious. If you have another option for restaurants, you might want to pass on this one.

My Mandarin sauce in my chicken tasted burnt and I couldn't substitute shrimp fried rice for the ham and chicken fried rice. So I ordered the only size shrimp size rice they have (quart) and that tasted burnt also. Very dissatisfied.

The Sweet n Sour chicken is basically inedible. Fatty dark meat, breading falls off, soaked in a goopy nasty sweet n sour sauce. Fried rice is just bland, tastes like white rice with butter. Told me 15 minutes for pickup - took 25. The kids inside behind the register had to finish their conversation before helping me out. All in all, a bad experience. I ate about 5 bites of food and lost my appetite. Waste of $26. Won't be trying this place out again.

I just got food today for the first time there. 10/21/18. The shrimp fried rice was cooked in old oil, that really made it taste so bad I couldn't eat it. Then got the boneless chicken with brown gravy, couldn't even cut into the chicken like it been preferred, and fried again, and sat under a heat lamp for God knows how long. Called them. Said eveone likes it that way...really. I paid a lot for something I can't eat, and all they offered was to fix it again. So nasty, and wouldn't want anything from them ever again !!!

used to be a great restaurant to eat but the last 2 times i have ordered takeout it has been awful. eggrolls were hard , couldnt even bite them in to rangoons were nasty and i mean nasty and the same way. i will try them during the day and see if its any better but i will never order take out again. tasted like the food was left over from that morning. horrible.... the people are nice but dont order take out at supper.

I have been dining at Yee's restaurant for more than 20 years. I have always enjoyed the food and the egg drop soup there was my favorite until last night on 08/12/2017. The only way I can describe what was in my egg drop soup is to say it looked like baby oysters in my soup or bad eggs. The pieces were greenish/grey color and the pieces were firm. I brought the soup back and ask the waitress/hostess or just down right rude person. What is this in my soup. She said soy that it changes the color of the egg and the other girl said it was something that came off the wok when they cooked the egg and the girls tell me that they are supposed to pick that stuff out before serving the soup. Can you say gross. The so call professional waitress/hostess tells me she can replace the soup. I explained that I don't want another soup so she asked what do you want in replace of the soup. I said maybe some pork fried rice with attitude she says um No that it's more in price then the soup. I was like really she said here is your money back on the soup. If this was my restaurant I would eat the 3.00 dollar difference in price to make my customer feel appreciated so they would Keep coming back. Really I don't think 3.00 dollars would break their bank account. From what I understand Mr Yee is no longer running the Restaurant that his wife and son's are. Well since they have been the food has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Their once upon a time awesome fried rice now taste like frozen fried rice from the grocery store. Like they have cut corners on some of their ingredients to save a few bucks. Well I have never until this point been served food that looked that bad or had an rude, hype up on something attitude from hell waitress/hostess. If I could upload a picture of the greenish/grey stuff that was in my soup I would. From this point forward I will never spend another dime at Yee's that i would go spend my money on Chinese food from the mall. Good luck to the ones that still dine there. May your stomachs be made of cast iron and your shoulders are strong to handle that rude, unprofessional, unapologetic, insulting waitress/hostess that they have working there representing the restaurant.

This place has been there since the 1980s for a reason because it's the best Chinese ever I say this you can go to 50 different Chinese restaurants with 50 different names but they all have the same menu most even have the same pictures on the wall except for Yee Chinese the food is fresh and delicious with ultra fresh vegetables. Like pulling the stems off of the snow peas fresh not frozen

Ever since moving away from CA, we have tried soooo many Chinese restaurants and I don’t know what it is but there is just no good Chinese food like Home! And we try and try and try! We’ve tried so many times and end up walking away with food that is not edible! So when bobby said he wanted Chinese food I hesitated but of course said ok let’s look up a place. After googling restaurants near us, we came across this little gem and let me tell you...Hands down THE BEST Chinese food in Slidell!! Best I’ve had since moving away from home and living in so many different states, I’m shocked and so happy to say this place is truly amazing!! Plus You know it’s gotta be a good place to eat when it’s packed at 3 pm on a Tuesday!!! Lol there is so much flavor in every dish, I found us both saying omg Baby every bite we took lol I cannot WAIT to go back! We had it for lunch yesterday soooo yea I think I’ll order some Chinese for dinner tonight too!! ;) Also, our server Gabby was amazing! She recommended me to a tattoo parlor in town that has some awesome artists that I will be checking out!! Thanks Yee! Yee Yee!!!

Our family “go-to” place for Chinese food. We have been going to this little restaurant since 1991. It is just a little “hole-in-the-wall” place, nothing spectacular on the outside, but they have outstanding food and it is so inexpensive. Their All Day meals are the best value. The amount of food you get on your plate is unbelievable. We always take food home because there is so much and most of the time we just can’t eat it all. A little secret about this restaurant we learned, if you want an egg roll that already comes with your meal, you have to ask your waitress for Yee’s homemade egg roll, they are stuffed full of filling and they are so delicious. Otherwise, you will get a regular size egg roll with your meal that doesn’t have very much filling in it. So ask for Yee’s homemade egg roll with your meal. Waitresses are really friendly, and they have fast service, and our food has always been hot. Yes cooks it for you when you order it so it is fresh. Great place to eat, great price, great food. If you go through Slidell, this is a place you will definitely want to eat at. You won’t regret it.

Have been eating at this restaurant for many many years and it was a favorite. I don't know what has happened there but the last 2 visits we ended up walking out without even ordering. The staff that used to literally know our names and favorite menu items is gone and the people there now can't smile or even acknowledge our presence. I miss Sue and the Yee Chinese that we used to know!! On a positive note our attempts to dine here being thwarted we ended up at Times Grill which has excellent food and service!

I ordered from this place today and the food was great the only problem is the owner is a Uber B***h with very poor customer service skills. I called only to inform her that I didn’t receive my complete order and she told me it wasn’t her problem and hung up in my face. She never tried to resolve the issue or even pretend to care.

Owner rents apts behind restaurant and is a slum lord. Over priced filthy dilapidated moldy, bug infested units shared walls with the restaurant when i went in. Idk about you but that doesnt say much for regard to food safety
