Do you like bread? If so this is the place for you because, if you order a sandwich, that's pretty much all you're going to get. A nice 2.5 inch slab of french bread. After the third bite you start to wonder if they forgot to put the meat on the sandwich or not. Once you finally get to the meat you better have your drink nearby because it is the driest & most tasteless meat you will ever eat. If you don't soak the entire sandwich in sauce you will most likely choke trying to eat it. At the counter he asked if i wanted anything on it so I told him mayonnaise. When my order was complete the manager tosses a couple of squeeze packets in my bag & says here's your mayonnaise. Do they not have mayo in the kitchen? I also watched one of the staff counting a pile of 1 dollar bills while the phone right next to him rang at least 15 times. I guess they don't get many call ins because he didn't seem concerned that the phone was ringing. I would not recommend this place to anyone & I will never go back fro another sauce & bread sandwich.

love, love, love this place! I've never had anything that I didn't like and it's definitely my go-to for BBQ. The service is incredible as well. Always have a great conversation with the bartender when I sit at the bar and the food is always quick!

I've been coming here for years. under the new owner (Doug) the experience and food keeps getting better and better. Also, Sam is one of my favorite bartenders in Baton Rouge. Always a good time when he's behind the bar.

Awesome bbq. The incredibly attractive manager with long salt and pepper hair made us the best hurricane burger we had ever had! He deserves a raise! We will definitely be coming back.

My Bride and I went about 15 mo. ago and there were a lot of people dining and the food was great. Returned last night, 15NOV13, and I guess the old ways are gone. First of all, NO SMOKE FLAVOR !!!! NO SMOKE SMELL OUTSIDE OR INSIDE !!!! THIS IS NOT BBQ. The best thing about the food was the water with lemon. We were the only people eating, the other patrons were drinking at the bar watching sports on tv. So I guess it's a sports bar now.

Stopped for lunch and it was great. I ordered the pulled pork sand with corn puddin' went to bathroom to wash hands and food was to my table before I came out!! The pork was delicious with mojo sauce but the bun they use was super good! I will definitely be back!

My go-to spot when I am at LSU. The food is very good, and the prices are very reasonable. To get a nice sandwich and side for around $10, maybe just a couple dollars more than a fast food combo meal is nice. Their pulled pork is very good paired with gris-gris greens and jambalaya. Wonderful!

Worst food experience of my life. Didn't have what I wanted, but didn't tell me until after I paid for it. Our food was brought to us in to-go plates, when we ordered to eat there. All of our meat was mixed together and drinched in BBQ sauce, which after tasting was absolutely disgusting. Our order was wrong. Never recommend this place!!!

Very quiet when we were there - probably because it is so close to campus and we were there in June. Food is consistent with the same level as the New Orleans locations. Service was quick but we were the only ones there.

It was only OK. Great service friendly staff BBQ was a little on the dry bland side. Portion was was small price was big. It felt like I got the kids meal. If this is convenient go for it. If you're craving good BBQ go elsewhere

Fastest pick up order from any restaurant ever. They knew I was in a hurry (or wanted to get outta there themselves) either way I love the food, it's super close to the house and I'll be there 2-3 times a week. Keep it up.

Nice scenery, they have a good selection of foods, and the price is nice as well. They have this wall with many signatures and you may also sign it if you please. The best entree would definitely be their smoked chicken, and the side would be their voodoo chip. Highly recommended that to anyone who hasn't had the privilege of dining there before.

Cold BBQ pork sandwich and French fries that taste refried. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone for eating. Also, the men's bathroom was in need of cleaning.

Louisiana may not have invented BBQ. But like everything else, when you spice it up with Louisiana flavor and hospitality it makes it better. And Voodoo BBQ does it up good!
