Nowadays the business has a score of 4.1 stars out of 5 and the score was based on 539 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is very good, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Sports bar.
The Jimani is a fun place to watch a college football game in New Orleans. I found this place because they offer great bucket specials. A bucket of beers is 10 bucks. We made friends with LSU fans while watching the game and ate some tasty nachos. Make sure u bring cash because their card machine went down in the middle of our order.
Absolutely mouth watering dining experience
Great local color with fine wings and burgers.
Great little place to get away from it all. Server bar, so it gets busy at odd hours.
I am a local and I like to try new places so when this place flyered my shop I got interested. The next day I placed my first order a chilli cheese dog and a bbq shrimp poboy. Good delivery time but the shrimp have NO flavor and the dog had no chilli on it. First impressions stuck and for a first time order for things to be wrong right off the bat I probably will not be ordering again.
Strong for nos awesome people
Not the best time. I requested one song to hang out with my dad and brothers on 9/16. The reddish-haired bartender yelled out "This music is terrible" to me. Then the juke box shut off and I lost $20.
Food was really good. Especially the wings. The cleanliness was subpar. The place feels dirty. However, so do most bars in N.O. So, go in with low expectations regarding the environment, but high expectations regarding the staff and food. Ill definitely go back!!
The lady bartender was harsh, even insulted some customers, took 15 minutes to get a drink and the bar was not even halfway full. Prices are ok but very bad service overall.
I’m super overdue on leaving a review.. like a whole year and 4 months late
Best bar in the Quarter. You had me at Deep Eddy on tap ❤️
Not much from the street but great inside with friendly staff and good food.
Perfect hole in the wall dive bar with food. Friendly bartenders and no kids allowed!
Great bar. Great prices
Perfect dive for great food, drinks and music
Fun place in the Quarter! WHO DAT?!!
Nice place to watch some sport on TV. I've been watching the UFC, the McGregor VS Khabib fight. The place was so crowded but I got there early so I had place to sit. The problem is that you have to get through all the crowd to get to the toilet just to find only 1 urinal so ladies have to find different alternatives. The pub itself is very nice, the bartender is sweet and the food and alcohol are very good.
Fun place for food and drinks
Nice vibe, decent food. Everyone sings.
Great for late night eats. The BLT was absolutely amazing.
One of my favorite Bars in the French Quater
Helpful friendly staff. Fair prices
Great service, cheap drinks, chill atmosphere - what's not to like?
I like this place, you can always order an amazing selection of drinks.
Rude staff, unkempt interior, crappy drinks. Wouldn't recommend as there are plenty more bars happy to serve customers.
Bartenders are kool except for the short one she is bad at her job
Rude and disrespectful service, dirty restaurant. Food was ok but they got my order wrong. I didn’t ask them to change it because I couldn’t stand another drawn out and dramatic interaction with the bartender.
Might have my wedding there
Good place for what it is. Accidentally left my credit card their and went back 4 days later and they still had it.
Great food, obnoxious locals...
Delicious food. Hole in the wall, dive bar
Great service and even better food and beer selection!
A little too cool, they traded a bit of friendliness for coolness. But it's a unique little spot to check out.
I can't adequately describe how awful this place is. RUDE WAITRESS!!! I "happened" into this disgusting hell hole because my friends were drinking at a bar close by and I was in need of something to eat. The sandwich wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. The service was slow, the place was filthy and again, the waitress, as seems to be pointed out time and time again, was a rude, cantankerous woman. I got no receipt but I'm certain they overcharged me.
incredibly rude bartender (brunette girl) literally acted like I was bothering her (bar empty) every time I asked for a drink. We ordered food, big mistake. Took an hour for a burnt hamburger to come out, and they just forgot about the mozzarella sticks we ordered and paid for. By far the worst bar we went to in all of new Orleans
Food's good, staff is friendly, and there's a great beer selection.
The food was great. The hang ova burger was great. Atmosphere was pretty cool
Some of the best bar food in NOLA. Everything I have eaten I have enjoyed greatly. Their music selection is great and they have an internet jukebox so knock yourself out! Love the bartenders!
Rebecca was amazing and so down to earth!!
An excellent and classic food spot with delivery for those who work overnight. This was my go-to spot when I worked overnight in the hospitality industry. The Hang Ova Burger is what I always order. This visit was the same. Jason still works here too! He is AWESOME and has the patience of Job with the most positive spirit.
Great French Quarter bar with good food.
I'm not too sure how to go about this place, first night the bartender was great however I can tell there was a lot of locals that are regular to this place that there was a lot of cursing back and forth from the bartender to the customer but in a conversation. Good was great older guy who was the cook made sure our food came out ok and even asked for feedback. Second time we went there the make bartender was rude as hell! He did notice is right away but we asked for him to give us a min since we didn't know the menu like the locals so he said ok and went away, we were ready to order but he was having a conversation with his regulars and forgot about us. The cook which was a different one decided to step in so he can continue cooking meanwhile the bartender decided to pay us any mind. He finally did come over and he spazzed out talking about you don't talk to the cook about orders I'm the person to talk to, he just cooks the orders I give him and so on so forth, so we gave him the order and he was like u either pay now or u start a tab... Which the girl from the first time did not ask us that at all... So we paid ahead. Also there is a lot of drinking that both bartenders do. I'm not sure if that's normal there or not but once a customer takes a shot they take one also. Anyway we was towards the end of our food and we see a mouse
Love the vibe. Good drinks and great food. The service was good as well. I got the Asian song Wings and they also had chicken cracklings. Yummy. We were able to catch a popular boxing match here. I would recommend.
Great food, Rylie was awesome. Owner & cook/chef were great. Friendly and alot of fun!
Awesome late night grub and bar
The bartenders engaged the crowd during Mardi Gras. Music was great.
We tried to enjoy a brunch and they wouldn’t take my State issued License which was a paper temporary state issued license. As we were leaving one of the other patrons who was white stated that he did not have to show his license. I would hate to think this is an establishment that discriminates against African Americans!!
Great food! Awesome bartenders and just a chill spot in the quarter.
Open 24 hours with good food
Awesome dive. Good prices. And lively bartenders
Fun time at the bar except the Colts lost! :(
Terrible. I had ordered and paid for my food and drink. Someone else in our small group then wanted to buy one more drink and the next thing im being told i have to pay what i had previously paid for plus that drink. I told the owner to check his receipts and he saw that i had already paid. He then proceeded to rudely dismiss me. Awful customer service experience. Food was good enough, especially the chicken wings.
Bartender smashed the door into me in the bathroom and yelled "y'all better not mess up this bathroom!" Needless to say, I didn't use the bathroom and received no bar service.
somewhat of a dive bar off the main strip, but some of the best Gumbo I've ever had. They also had these Jello shots in syringe form which were really good and cool. The bartenders are all soo funny and so friendly!
Fun place, good food and not just the traditional wings and chicken fingers. Had some great red beans and rice with deep fried Twinkies for dessert. They have reasonable drink prices and good pours. Jessica is fun and friendly and they have a TouchTunes jukebox that they're not afraid to crank the volume on.
Quick drink, good vibe
Best hole in the wall place
Great food, great beer selection, good prices
Good food, fast service
Stop here every time I come to town!
Had a tasty cider and some of the best nachos I’ve had in a bar ever. Worth a visit if you want to take a break away from bourbon street.
Lake Charles great sermon
One of my favorite bars in the city. Friendly staff .Great menu and good drinks. Love it!!
Funky little place food was great. I tried the steak poboy it was really, really good.
We stopped by for mid afternoon beers and appetizers. The jalapeno poppers and BBQ wings were the usual bar fare. I really enjoyed my beers while listening to the perfect mix of music.
Bartender was rude. Turned off our game before we finished watching the end of the game. Food was mediocre. Not very clean. Table, floors and chairs were sticky. Stay away from this "sports bar"
dont like latins and cant even get a drink cause they want usa id ... example having a PR id that is part of usa does not work and will kick you out by their own law .
Nice local bar that isn't super crowded by tourist!
Good food, great atmosphere. Not too expensive. Great place to watch a game. Came during Mardi Gras. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap, it was delicious, especially for bar food! Hubby enjoyed the corn nuggets and buffalo tater kegs. Would return next we’re in town.
One of my favorites!
Suitably divey bar with pretty decent selection of craft cans and bottles. They advertise 125 total ..maybe the widest selection I encountered in the quarter.. and more than a couple unique and interesting brews from local, regional and other breweries.
Spent the day here watching college football games with my husband. Great atmosphere and great staff. We had the wings and they were very very very good. Amazing selection of beers there is definitely something for everyone. Bathroom was very clean. This bar has a great local feel that makes coming back to NOLA an amazing experience.
Great for late night eating and drinks. The bartender girl with the short hair was awesome and handled the bar very well. In between making drinks she was busing tables, running food, and entertaining her patrons. Check it out. Will definitely go back when we are in town.
Just called in took inquire about the establishment showing the UFC fight tonight & they were rude in just that encounter. $20 cover ... I asked if that included anything then she got an attitude & hung up. Terrible!!!
We went to watch a sports game that was on while we visited NOLA. This place had pretty poor service.
Great drinks
One of my favorite places in New Orleans. Great people, good drinks and the staff always takes care of you.
It's was ok. The chili cheese fries were pretty good though.
Not tourist friendly.
Cool atmosphere. Fun ppl. Had a good time. Good food too!
Service & food was great. Everyone was very friendly!
Great place a step away from the madness of Bourbon St. Open late, reasonable prices on food and drinks, and you can control the jukebox from your barstool using your phone. Ate too much, drank too much, stayed to late. What more can you ask for?!
Good pizza
Great late night dive with good food. Great service.
The chicken cracklings are delicious and I also had a breakfast poboy. It had hot sausage patties, bacon and 2 fried eggs with pickles and peppers.
Great service and people
Dive bar that serves food after midnight. It was ok for 3am lol but dont expect much. Burger wasnt bad. Frozen and reheated or deep fried. Service was good.
Good bar with strong drinks and a large selection. The peanut butter burger was interesting and tasty. The Jell-O shots were also pretty good.
We had pizza. It was good, but the real kicker was the service. Rebecca was awesome. Great time!
Was on busy fight night there. Definitely come much before the event if you want nice spot. Tasty nachos + bucket of beers = good time. Weird toilet situation.
If you love waiting for service you should come here.
Great locals hangout close to Bourbon Street.
Great service, excellent food and beer prices!
Worst food ever bartender really rude, and food was horrible don't go there. Worst service.
Notice all the high ratings from "local guides". The local standards must be low because this place is terrible! Food, service, music; all mid-blowing bad.
Service was terrible and the food was unedible, it’s over priced don’t waste your money! 0/0
One of the best places off bourbon street.
Great pizza and wings! Friendly staff
Great dive bar. Good food. Go see Rachel
Spur of the moment visit as my dining party decided against another venue. The drinks were tasty & inexpensive!!! Walk in and grab a seat. Go to the bar, place your order. And wait for your food to be delivered to the table. Check out the BREATHALYZER mounted on the bar right before you exit... I didn't use it, probably just decorations, but still amazing.
Best bar in New Orleans. Best bartender in New Orleans: Swede's I'm from Philly. Not some post from the owner or his/her friends. Go here late night. Meet all the industry folks. Experience the real people from new Orleans.
Lot of beer options with Pizzas and other fast foods
Great small bar, cold beer, good bar food!
Wow. I just read all the posts. They must be greasing the local guides palms. Only they rated this place 5 stars. Worst place ever...This was on google for a place to go. Dont do it. Bartender is rude, food is terrible, and service is greatly lacking. Definitely a wrong turn.
Rough place, angry music, sticky tables, lackluster drinks. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there or like they wanted YOU to be there. The food was ok, barely. Couldn't believe the bacon used on the burger and the BLT was precooked, tasteless, flat, round peices and tasted old. The bread barely toasted on the BLT. The specialty tots were pretty good and very nicely cooked. We couldn't decide if the "ranch" dipping sauce was straight sour cream or if it had some mayo hiding in it but it most certainly did not taste like ranch. Now the the remoulade dipping sauce for the tots? That saved the evening. It was everything a remoulade should be - yummy with a kick of New Orleans heaven thrown in. Promote whichever wonderful employee made that, give them a raise and turn them loose on the rest of the kitchen!
This was the only place around Bourbon Street that was showing the UFC fight that night. Only two girls in the whole bar and one was mine. Kept my head up and watched the fights, made a couple of good friends, and had a good time. I do not however recommend their Pizza unless you are dying of starvation. It was pretty bad. And I say this even though I was drunk. I couldn't even have more than two slices. The female bartender was also not very friendly to me at all. It was a good place to watch the fights nothing Rowdy happened. everything went well. everybody was into the fights. Don't know how it is on a regular night but the place isn't really that big and only has 1 bathroom for the guys. I would recommend it for UFC fight fans needing their fix of 8 oz gloves and leather slinging and nothing more.
Good food, good vibe.
Good food and drinks
Local hangout in the quarter. Better than Bourbon for sure.
Low key, typical bar food for on the run. These guys stay open late, which makes it a perfect target when your crawling home after a long night in nola. Burgers and poboys are good, not the best, but good. Chili cheese fries had that weird fake nacho cheese. Really the only reason im giving it four stars. Oh, and its pronounced Gemini of you're wondering.
Great place with a friendly atmosphere and the bar tender was the BEST . She is a super star.
Get bartender and drinks.our first time in new Orleans
Best 5 grilled cheese with bacon and tomato.... thank you Jason!!!
Make sure you play Nickelback on the jukebox.
Great place to be any day any time.
This place saved my life this weekend. Needed a pizza at 3am I must be lonely.....(matchbox 20) , but seriously they were open and it was delicious.
Good atmosphere, small space but roomy, relatively clean bathrooms for the area, SUPER STRONG jello shots, but 3 stars for poor service. Bartender lady was rude. :(
Great local dive bar.
Fun place
The kitchen staff is friendly but one of the male bartenders was not. Didn't get his name.
Services is always nice sometimes there a little wait on the food tho
sweet little locals bar in the French quarter.
Just a cool little bar with good burgers.
Cool hole in the wall off the main strip. They have $3 Jell-O shots that are more than worth it. They have a good selection of drinks as well. We ordered some apps and a few chili dogs and I was impressed with their food for a dive bar. The bartenders are pretty cool as well. I would go back for sure! Cheers!
Super cool bar.. but very loud music and bartender, she was really unpleasant to us.. :(
Great sandwiches. Fantastic beer selection. The own is really cool and fun to talk to. He also has great beer recommendations.
The heavy set white waitress was rude and miserable. If you do not like your job, do something different. I actually wanted to eat and watch the game. The people next to us where great but the bartender was so rude and miserable we left. I am from New Jersey so it is not like I don’t know rude. That was ridiculous. Nice bar right next door with professional wait staff. Go there!
Visiting from South Dakota, and came in tonight after a reading a review in the fall restaurant guide. The food is awesome (Steak Po Boy on point). Incredible selection of beers and expansive menu for such a small space. Super friendly space and a ton of TVs to enjoy any sporting event. The perfect little bar, some would call it a dive bar, but it doesn't do it justice.
It's probably one of my favorite places, the kitchen stays open late which is ideal for when I get off of work in the mornings (2am or later) to get a burger in the quarter I am a huge fan of their PEANUT BUTTER BURGER
Ordered drinks and food. Got the drinks straight away. Happy days. After an hour of waiting for our, which included people who came in after us receiving their food and watching the chef go on a break, I then inquired about our food. Bartender the got sassy at me claiming their was just one cook and that they can only work so fast. Amazingly the cook quickly whipped up our food, although it wasn't what we order... Wasn't worth complaining. When you forget about an order just own it. A free round wouldn't have hurt.
Great bartenders, great food, a lot service industry people and always great music=)
Great local hangout good foid drink prices are awesome staff is fun
Nice place. But you get to eat only after 11 AM
Great spot. Very reasonable drink prices. Food menu is big, but organized and concise. Bartenders are super nice and fun. I always enjoy coming here.
Good drinks, great food and always a nice place to hang out with friends
Good food and staff was pleasant.
Beer was cold and the service(Riley) was great! The food wasn't too shabby either. Good little dive bar.
Good food, punk rock music but a casual place.
Corner Sports bar, bar food, good drinks
Dive bar with a comfortable vibe.
Great staff. Good drinks!
Nice little bar where you can actually see the kitchen. Compared to the other bars in the area this one was very affordable with a fun atmosphere
We planned to eat at a place a few doors down before an afternoon Saints game and that line was out the door so we waited ten minutes for The Jimani to open and we were the first ones in. Bartender was cool and advised us to grab a spot because the place was about to get stampeded. She was right! Every NFL game was on a different TV and there were fans of every team playing partying there. Really cool. Very extensive beer selection and the drafts were ice cold. The food was delicious. BBQ shrimp po boy was outstanding and the da works dog was good as well. We hung out with people from many different cities until it was time to get to the dome. Great time!!
Busy.. But went there twice and there were empty tables but trash everywhere.. Not cleanimg off tablesso we left both times
Not too shabby little spot. It still looks like jumanji to me. They pronounce it like "gemini".
Excellent time.
We stoppst by on our first night in in NOLA andahad a great time, super fun local bar
Best late night bar in NOLA
