My boyfriend tried to get food here on lunch break. It mentions no where on the website you cant wear a tank top in order to eat outside. But we were turned down service because of it. They should announce the dress code on the website. Never seen an outside casual resturant not allowing contruction workers to eat when they order in tank tops. Ridiculous. We will take our money somewhere else.

Really good burgers with friendly staff. They have a full bar, where you can smoke, and plenty of outdoor seating. They have a pool table as well.

Staff sees us showup with a dog, and we proceed to order food. Then we are sitting down outside eating food, when all of a sudden the waitress tells us we need to leave because of the dog. Well you should have told us that before we ordered. Good riddance. Never coming here again and will not recommend to anyone.

This had to the best hidden gem I’ve been to for an amazing burger in #Nola. When we got here late one night, I was sure we were in for some rough bar food. I was incredibly wrong. These guys and gals were amazing. Sitting at the bar we really got to take the dynamic and jovial relationship between the chef and cook. We were laughed quite a bit. This place will sit in my favorites from now on!

It's an okay place to eat traditional burgers but if you're going to go dress appropriately( no tank-tops). I would have given this place five stars but when I ordered no onions on my burger it's still had them and they put a sad-looking piece of tomato on there.

Loved it here. The tuna steak is to die for, and the bar service is excellent. I'm really glad I stumbled across this place and I would definitely eat here again when I visit New Orleans again. I recommend the Jalapeno peppers. They were delicious.

I ordered a burger & fries that was extremely pleasing to the eye, but it was lacking in taste. I didn't care for the flavor of my burger because it tasted over seasoned & the super large patty was kind of dry. Also, once again, the cheese on the burger "looked" great, but it had some type of oily rubber texture that just didn't taste good. It was difficult to chew, so I removed it & threw it out. Moreover, the fries were just average. I was asked if I wanted season, I said yes ~ but my fries were flavorless & I overall, I wasn't pleased with my meal. I would have been happier with a #1 from Wendy's to be completely honest.

Burger was bland bland bland. Staff was friendly. I will admit this placed was slammed with food orders when we came in and staff did their best to keep up. I don’t think that excuses the lack of taste on the meat. The lettuce, tomato and onion were crisp and fresh. I did excuse the fact I ordered grilled onions and was served onions raw. There seem to be a weird “employee team against the customers” atmosphere in the air. Not sure I would go again.

I was truly repulsed by the service of this restaurant on Friday, June 21st. We had noticed the sign that TANK TOPS were not allowed in the restaurant and is one of their rules, (which I totally understand), but we sat outside because we saw a woman being served WHO HAD A TANK TOP ON AS WELL!!!! The waitress approached our table looking at my husband with the tank top on and not even glancing at my sister WHO WAS ALSO IN A TANK TOP!! The waitress told my husband that she was sorry, but no tank tops. We looked at the waitress and she said we can let you wear a shirt, he respectfully declined the offer and proceeded to go elsewhere. As we were getting up to leave another woman sat down at an outside table with a tank top on as well and was offered service! I will follow any establishments rules and policies, but I feel that my husband was treated differently for being a man! That was a very unprofessional and inappropriate decision to only point out my husband (THE ONLY MAN WITH A TANK TOP) I did call the restaurant after we left, I found it better to call and make a complaint instead of being angry at that moment in time and complain in front of my husband and family! I called about 5 minutes later and talked to the manager Teressa. It was as if she was expecting my call, I explained the situation and told her what I just explained and how I understood the policies of the restaurant and I did say that it was sexist of the restaurant to only tell my husband about the no tank top policy, she seemed not to care in any way at all! I will never go back there and will be sure to tell family and friends how my husband was treated.

I arrived and promptly ordered some food with no problem whatsoever. Then, fifteen minutes later I was asked to leave with my dog while I was eating dinner. I didn’t think this would be a problem, and I was shocked at how the waitress expressed this to me. I really felt like I was being discriminated against. Not recommended to anyone besides whites.

The Harbor has really transitioned itself from a dark dungeon to significantly increasing its size with an awesome patio that they just expanded upon. Their bar food is expansive and very good! Always a good crowd, especially on the weekends. Don’t confuse this place with Harbor Seafood, which is in Kenna Brah. This is a Metairie staple.

It was real late and nothing else was open. They still had a few hours till closing, so we stopped in. First we had no idea where to go when we got there. We went in one door and just walked around the place till we found some workers behind a counter. Then the guy that was at the counter said he really was too busy to take our order could we go order somewhere else. We explained we saw no one else in the place. He sighed and took our order. We weren't sure where to go after that, so we just sat near the counter area. Then some drunk at the counter was giving the cook/waiter a hard time, so I kinda sympathized with the cook/waiter. A waitress brought our drinks (water and coke) after a while. This was the only time we saw her. After a good while had passed, we got our food. When it came out, it looked like bland, boring cafeteria food. Everything we ordered off our meals was on there. I Ordered a Medium Well hamburger but it was bleeding. Being pregnant and SUPPOSED to be eating well done meat, I had to send it back. The cook agreed that it was raw still and took it back. He offered us a free dessert for everything being so bad and we told him we could see that drunk customer was on his nerves and effecting things. We then not seeing our waitress ever again that night had to ask for drinks. It took a while to get someone's attention for that. The food was subpar, especially for the price and the atmosphere/experience was awful. The classic rock music on the radio and free brownie were the only good things about that night. I'd give it 1 star but I could tell the drunk at the counter was prob the reason half the stuff was so bad.

The hamburger here it great. The 6 oz burger and fries are perfect to fill a hungry person. Only go for the 12 oz burger if you are starving or plan on bringing some home.

Wow what a hidden old school place in metairie. Have to say the atmosphere was good. That's if your ok with how a burger place used to be in the 80's. For us it was fun and different. Sat in the bar area and was amazed to see an actual ashtray on the table. We dont smoke but it did not bother us one bit. It brought back fond memories of the good ole New Orleans neighborhood hangouts. There are seating options that are not in the bar. Had a juke box and even some video poker. Also had a fun variety of people. The burger was spot on with all the toppings you could want. We had the bacon cheese burger. Have to rank it pretty high on the burger scale. Go check it out. It's a fun time. The service was also very good.

First of all we walked in and no one was there to seat or help us. Then one of the cooks asked if we needed any help. He finally found some menu's then we both ordered steak and asked about the crawfish. You can only buy a minimum of 3 lbs at a time. At a resteraunt! When we got our steak. His was supposed to be rare and mine medium. NOPE mine was not medium it was really rare, not only that but trying to cut a piece off was a task and the meat was so chewy I had to dispose of the pieces into a napkin in fear of me choking because the meat would not break up. Just terrible service and steak.

Ordered from here for the first time a few days ago, along with some coworkers who recommended the food. Shrimp salad and gator bites for me. Portion was much larger than expected, and the food was fantastic! Plan to one day come in for a sit down dinner and check out the atmosphere, and other food options.

Not in the bar, not the drinks or bartenders, not in the deli, any employees and the food is awesome to boot! If its daytime or night and you're looking for a great place to eat at a reasonable price with awesome service, you need to head to the Harbor. You'll be happy you did!!

Good meaty burger. When anyone else in town can't provide you a big juicy burger come to the Harbor! They are consistent and will help accommodate any sort of Classic American Backyard Burger craving you have. Open late for when you need something to soak up a night of bad decisions...or just a late night craving. They have a pretty descent selection on tap to keep that whistle wet. Wouldn't spend 3 am anywhere else!

We stopped in and got a burger, which was very good. Service was good, as well. The problem is that smoking is allowed throughout the entire restaurant and bar area. I felt like I'd stepped back to 1995. Knowing what we know about its health effects, there's simply no reason to subject people to secondhand smoke in this day and age. I won't be returning unless they change this policy.

We stopped here late at night because it was the only place we could find open. What great luck! It was cool enough to sit at a table in the cute outside patio. I ordered a hamburger which does not come with fries. I also ordered a side of fries. My husband ordered the fried shrimp on a bun. My burger was thick and had a wonderful grilled flavor. There was plenty of shrimp piled on the bun. They were fried perfectly. The order of fries was large enough for us to share. The service was rather slow but it could have been because it was very late. It wasn't crowded so I'm not sure how the service would be if the place was busy.

The food was great but the service was terrible. Only half the table was served and the other half didn't get their food for another 10min and they couldn't remember what they had orderes. The staff was unapologetic about it and was sarcastic when pointed out the service had been terrible.

Their Burgers were exceptional -- Great Juicy Burgers ... cooked perfectly ... great flavor ... 12 ounce burger!! I took my lovely wife, my sweet Honey Dee, on a date to get a great burger. We totally enjoyed each other as well as their burgers. The service staff were kind and knowledgeable. They checked on us regularly and delivered our Burgers piping hot. Our meal was so good that we ordered another to go and eat later. This is a bar and grill. Don't look for more. The food was good ... the staff was kind ... we will go there again!!

I walked up saw the sign that said no tank tops ( it's hot out, and jazz fest is going on. ) so I went and changed short went in then I couldn't wear my hat backwards, when there were at least 6 others with tank tops and hats . their excuse was it's jazz fest they are allowed . I'm sorry why are they allowed and I'm not . oh well

This was am amazing spot for our fellas night out, wonderful environment, friendly employees and amazing burgers that was full of flavor. They had all different type's of burgers from harbor junior to the super awesome gallery burger which had a freshly made ground meat patty,hot sausage patty,chicken breast,bacon,lettuce, tomato, pickles. They had other items on the menu such as seafood and steaks. And they drinks are very reasonable. We had a awesome time and will definitely be visiting again real soon. Thanks for a wonderful experience

I would come here with my group of friends but this would be the last. I am so aggravated that I was charged a $1.00 for TAP water. If your going to charge for water, at least give bottle water. I know a dollar is so little but I could have just drank water from the faucet.

Went here for lunch. Server asked if I wanted something to drink, I said no, I have my own water. She dropped of some tap water with ice anyway... I just pushed it on side. She asked what kind of salad dressing. I said Italian, she bought Ranch.... Food is mediocre. Got my bill and she charged me for a water I didn't ask for... addressed this with her and the manager and still was charged for it on the same bill.... never again...

I Will never visit here again... My brother and I were racially profiled and refused service because he was told to turn his hat forwards after ordering and paying for our food. So he asked if he didn't would they refuse service to which they responded yes, therefore he demanded his money back and we left. #racist
