Mmmmmm! To my personal taste they serve the best Asian food in Slidell. They always have good service and have such a large menu so plenty of options. My favorite dessert is the the rice pudding. Sometimes not always you can get a complimentary orange sliced up after your meal it is very refreshing. Also you should try the Thai tea it's so delicious.

Chose the Green Curry W tofu... DELICIOUS. hot and sour soup was exceptional as well and it actually had a bit of heat to it. The entire lunch with an egg roll and soup was only $8.50ish. Wish it was closer to Gretna! Oh yeah, food was so good I almost forgot to mention the service... The waitress was awesome!

Ordered to go. After reaching my Hotel which is about 20 minutes away from this place, I figured out that my small Hot and Sour Soup was missing. Called this place. The lady said she can provide me a larger soup if I can come and pick it up or my money back for the soup. I decided to get my soup as it was raining and I really needed my soup. After reaching this place again, I was provided with small soup and no apologies or larger soup that was promised.

My boyfriend ate here today and told me the food was amazing. I called this restaurant at 8:50pm and they told me they were closed although on their menu as well as all over the internet it says they close at 9:30. Every time I called to talk to an associate, repeatedly I got hung up on. I called back to speak to a manager and once again I was hung up on! I don’t care how good this food is, they have given absolute horrible customer service already! I’m sitting outside of their door waiting to talk to management. I am still here and the associates are waving us to leave and won’t open the door threatening to call the police if we don’t leave. I haven’t got rowdy or out of character I would simply like to talk to management about how I was treated tonight. The manager just now came to the door and listened to our concern, said that she would address it and offered for us to come tomorrow and eat at a discounted price. I do appreciate the manager’s gesture but this experience really put a disgusting taste in mouth. Whether the food is good or not.

Food was delicious. Glass noodles, Tom kha. Couldn't get enough of the glass noodles. The lemongrass was still in my tom kha and stuck in my throat. Location was sketchy. I was barely comfortable in my seat when a woman came in saying a young man had removed something from an unlocked car. Service also questionable. Server was pleasant and helpful but looked like she helped else everyone before coming to our table. Maybe it's just a pattern to ensure she serves everyone, but we didn't all sit at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and would definitely eat here again.

Horrible experience. Waited for drink order to be taken. Waited for drinks, appetizer and food. My husband and daughter got their food about 15 minutes before mine came out. I only ordered noodles with vegetables. By the time it came out, I had lost my taste for it. Not going back to dine in.

Got in as the second and ended up being there for over 1.5 hours. Server took 20 mins to come take our order, and was getting orders from people that arrived after us. Never came back to refill drinks at all until my husband waved him down to ask for more water. The food finally made it’s arrival, and all I can say is HORRIBLE! Food was undercooked and no taste or seasoning at all. We asked for the check and had to wait another 15 mins to get that! I was very excited to try this place because of the reviews, but this was just a really bad experience. We will never go back.

Every time I eat here, I am never disappointed. Panang curry is my favorite dish, however the chicken Pad Thai my husband orders is great. The service is the restaurant is great! They are super friendly and attentive. I order take out from here as well, its been my experience with other restaurants that their take out just isn't as good as the dine-in, but not in the case of the Thai Orchid. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Slidell, I really think they deserve more business.

Pad Thai tasted like Worcestershire sauce. I’ve never had greasy Thai fried rice before this place. I’m genuinely confused by the high star ratings. This food was below subpar and way over priced. I get angry every time I think about the $60 I wasted on 3 dishes from here. The staff were friendly however I would not recommend.

Always glorious. I have explored the menu every trip, and haven't yet found anything not yummy. Try the Cheese Rolls and Blanket Shrimp for appies, or good standbys are the Spring Rolls and Thai Satay. You won't have a bad time.

We came from Houston to New Orleans and were searching for a good restaurant. This restaurant had great food and the price was not too high!! We had fried rice and they gave us soup as starters and orange fruit at the end, both of them which were totally unexpected!! I would recommend anyone who likes to have thai food in this restaurant!!

This place is right by our house and used to be a weekly staple in our dinner rotation. However, the quality of the food over the past few months has been slowly declining, and this last time it was just plain BAD. I used to recommend the spicy fried rice with chicken to everyone. It used to come loaded with veggies, eggs, fresh basil, and meat. This past time, it only had a bunch of onions and a couple slices of carrot. No tomatoes (they actually seemed to have cut that out a while back), no green peppers, no basil, and very little chicken. This past time we also ordered the Thai garlic chicken dinner. That is normally super delicious! However, this time it was so terrible that we couldnt even eat it and just threw it away. It didnt have any garlic flavor at all. To be honest, all it tasted like to me was what i would imagine a dirty grill to taste like. Super weird and super gross. We've been eating there for YEARS with consistently good food and service up until the last 6 months or so. I can only figure that they must have hired a different cook or something. They got a new hostess within the last year. I find her to be curt and somewhat rude.. especially on the phone (we order to-go 99% of the time). I put up with it because i love their food so much, but i don't think we'll be back again for a while after this last experience

One of our favorites. I don't do a lot of reviews. But after seeing Shadiah La'Nique's review I thought I would add my own to balance it out. We eat here every few weeks or so. I love Thai food, and this place doesn't disappoint for dine-in or take out. As to Shadiah's concerns. First, they don't control information "all over the internet". On this very site, it still showed Rotollo's Pizza in Pearl River up until a few weeks ago, which had been closed for a while. I personally had sent in an update, it still took they their time changing it. So what's on the web means absolutely nothing... You called and they told you they were closed, and you still went? Really? Think we'll go eat dinner here again just to support them against baseless poor

This place used to be the best place for Thai food on the Gulf Coast, but they've gone downhill. I don't know if they're going cheap or trying to cater to an ignorant American populous, but the food was disappointing.

Food was delicious and our server was so polite and attentive. Was referred by a nurse at the children's hospital when my daughter was hospitalized. Finally decided to check it out and will definitely be going back. What a little diamond in the rough!!! Husband and I shared the pineapple fried rice and an order of chicken pad Thai. We took home enough for another entire meal. Prices are great, portions are huge.
