Food was delicious. Vegetable omelette was very flavorful. I had not had a bagel for a long time and it was superb. If you're going on a Sunday go early because by 10:30 it was extremely busy. Definitely would go back.

Sherry Tavel

Just right. Perfect from the food to the people to the decor.

Jason S. Allen

This is a delightfully funky place serving generous portions of southern charm and hearty meals. You can easily drive past as the colorful front sits comfortably beneath large shade tree planted, perhaps, during the Hoover administration.

Kyle H

The banana French toast is a must have here.

kathy thompson

Very unique! Service was wonderful..better than most...food was DEElicious!!

Micah Lieberman

Best breakfast in Nola. Get crawfish or crab omelette or shrimp and grits.

Jaisley holland

the food was amazing!!! we came here last year a few times and had to come back!! the only negative part is the wait is long :/ but that’s because the food is so good so it’s worth it

Svetlana Muzaleva

Quirky cute place. Good food and juice... A bit if a long wait (doesn't have that much seating)...

Myron Henry

Shrimp and grits. Thats all I have to say. Usually a line. Small spot but worth a visit if you are in the Garden District.

Shawneese Henderson

Every time I visit New Orleans, I always come here for the shrimp and grits - they are the best I’ve ever had in my life! The place is super small so prepare yourself to wait 30 minutes or more. Every time I’ve came, I waited at least an hour but it’s worth it!!!

Angela Aponte

Amazing! The crab ometlet and banana fosters french toast were delicious!

Andrea Gutierrez

Amazing food and great service. The best banana pancake I’ve ever had

Todd Toups

fast and friendly wait staff even filled to capacity! prices good enough to go several times a week. i like the club sandwich, soup and salad meal deal. easy street parking. i felt my car was safe in front of artsy type yards. nice area for a walk after a hearty meal.

5/5 Quality of Food 5/5 Quantity of Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Value (Price to Food + Service) The food here is amazing. It is a cozy little cafe with a lot of cool artwork for sale inside. Service is fast as well. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. The sauce is one of the best things I have ever tasted.

N C

Costa Rican breakfast was great! However questions about ingredients on specific items could not be answered by server or hostess. Knowledge of your staple items should be known. This information helps allergy customers like myself. Hostess also was short mannered. Your other location is much better. More lively. Excited to be there for its customers. 4 stars for delicious food however.

Evan Kesten

Everything was pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed in the dry biscuits.

Lala A

Top 5 breakfast I've had hands down. So good I'm definitely coming back before I leave. shrimps and grits with Cajun spices, lox and bagel with in-house made from scratch Bagels and crawfish omelette with a boudin sauce. The atmosphere is Corky and playful I love it. The wait staff were so friendly and helpful and giving suggestions of other places to go and eat. I can't wait to come back and try their banana fosters French toast looks amazing. And I cannot forget their fresh juices! So refreshing no sugar added. Just go, eat and enjoy!

Stephanie Merrimon

So good!! Friendly staff..delicious food

Eduardo Figueroa

Shrimp and grits were awesome and the wait staff is polite and very attentive

Ayumi Fielden

Always delicious. The best place to eat shrimp and grits. Best orange juice too!

Laura Alvies Smith

Bathroom situation not good, but this place was recommended by hotel staff and was very good

June Johnson

We had a wonderful brunch at Surrey's for my girl's getaway weekend. The atmosphere is quaint and quirky and we loved it. (The walking tour of the Garden District is a fabulous way to burn off the calories consumed ;) The food was quick and delicious and it did not disappoint! We all ordered the same thing, the crab meat omelette. Warm, tasty and a great amount of crab in the sauce. Their homemade biscuits were delectable, and perfect with jelly. I had the fresh squeezed orange juice and my friends had orange, grapefruit and ginger drinks and raved about it. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in NOLA!

Bryn Johnson

Very nice cafe. Great friendly staff. Interesting variety of foods.

Noah Rosen

Ugh those shrimp and grits are still appearing in my dreams! Friendly staff, gave some good local advice too.

Sherri Pratcher

Surrey's Cafe has the best shrimp and grits in the city!

Jetara Whitfield

Awesome quaint diner within walking distance of the riverfront. The shrimp and grits were Amazing! Service was great. Will definitely be back the next time in New Orleans

David

The crabmeat omelet is the best I've ever had. And the banana pancake is delicious and huge, big enough for two.

Joseph Croisant

My favorite breakfast spot in NOLA. Biscuits and sausage gravy, and a side of cheese grits. Wow. Love this place.

Dee T

Service was excellent. I had the eggs and Salmon. There wasn't too much flavor and a bit heavy on the cream cheese. Biscuit was good.

korrina davis

My boyfriend and I went on a Monday. We had to wait a little bit we’re seated after 10 minutes, not bad! We ordered two meals and shared them. The French toast was AMAZING but the breakfast biscuit was really dry, we ordered some gravy to add a bit of moisture but it was still a pretty bland dish.

Brandon

I was recommended to visit here by locals, and I was glad I stopped by. It's a cute, rustic breakfast/lunch spot with unique entree options, great coffee, and really good, freshly pressed juice. Ask for their daily juice specials. The staff was friendly and courteous, and they were quite helpful answering my local travel questions. I got their Baked Creole Breakfast with a biscuit, pineapple-orange-mango juice and coffee. I would definitely come back.

Marlene Mills

Awesome breakfast today. Scrambled eggs with Salmon, capers, roasted potatoes and wheat toast and orange-pineapple-mango juice.

Eliana Romero

Very beautiful place. Food is very delicious. Service and staff are very nice and polite. Recommended to visit. However, prices are high. It is not a cheap place.

Emily Ling

Small place with big character and delightful plates! Loved all the art on the walls and the casual, local feel. Our server was also super friendly and helpful. The shrimp and grits were PERFECT. Often grits are too watery, etc. I wanted to come back everyday! Expect a short wait, but they’re pretty quick about getting food out and people through.

Anthony Sothern-Avery

I really enjoyed the food here. I got the Pain Perdu(French Toast,New Orleans style) & The Shrimp & Grits. Pricing was fine and the portions were large and tasted wonderful. I especially loved their juice as did my party(I had the limeade). The overall service was decent for the style of restaurant and the wait was not horrible especially since we had 11 people. A great final stop before heading home from vacation I would definitely recommend for a great local spot.

Brandon Benitez

Tiny place with a creative character serving delicious hot dishes. Unique art on the walls for entertaining while waiting the your meal. Plenty to choose so lick than one to have an awesome and delightful experience. One check per table and all members of the party must be present in order to sit down. Expect a line on the weekends because a late night deserves a great hangover breakfast for all the late morning risers. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs!

Wanted to tell you about this while it was fresh in my mind (and give my food time to settle before the next food adventure!). This was close to our hotel and my fist choice was closed on Sundays so we went to Yelp & it didn't disappoint! It's on Magazine St, in a good neighborhood. Street parking is plenty, at least this Sunday. By the time we went around the block to find parking on a side street, there was a congregation of people. You put your name on the list and you wait outside for them to call your name. There is also a small counter, but they'll ask in order of names who wants to sit there. We waited about 5 more minutes and got a table. It's a small dining area and it was packed. They are famous for fresh juice and great food (just check out the Yelp reviews!!). Wife got a small (12oz) OJ and I got a large 17oz carrot juice. Wife's a closer to room temperature but still fresh. Mine was cool and fresh as well. Wife ordered a specialty, Crab Omelette and I ordered the Creole Eggs, which was off the regular menu. It was eggs with green peppers and onions and covered in cheese and baked in the oven. I also got a side of house fries (potatoes). Everything was great, including the service! I would absolutely recommend you eat here while in NOLA.

Charnette Bank

Good spot, with an insane amount of people queueing outside! Travelling alone has its perks - one among them being you almost always get a seat, at least one at the counter. Great food, juices and lemonades. Worth a visit!

millwoods best21

Small but good as hell. My wife and I enjoyed every second of it.

David Boquet

Quirky and fun. I did not expect to like Bagels and Lox but had to try and was very pleasantly surprised. That was great. The Corned Beef Hash was great. Great service. A lot of fun, truly.

kaylie pennie

Food was delicious and service was great. The juice is amazing!

Vanessa Ueltzen

Great service, food was out super fast! Funky, eclectic, cool place with delicious food!

Anthony Stewart

I called to ask request a takeout order and no one answered the phone so I went in to the shop where I was told they weren't serving any more takeout that day. It was only 10 am! The servers were very rude. I had been here a year ago and the food was ok. In the future, I'll take my business somewhere else.

Sean M

Service was great and the food was immaculate. Highly recommend this breakfast to anyone who comes to the NOLA. Will def come back for the delicious bacon!!!!

Pat Lewis

My servicers Mary (hostess) and Tom were great. And the Crawfish omelette was superb.

Joshua Flores

Breakfast burrito was on point and the potatoes were fantastic. The service felt like they just wanted you in and out in a hurry though. Food was great.

Tawneisha Salinas

Breakfast was amazing! The banana foster French toast was everything!! Not much a fan of the biscuit, kind of thick but the French toast erased that from my mind! Would def return just for that

Daren Carter III

Small breakfast place with a nice NOLA feel. We had the crawfish omelette and the boudin biscuit.

Smallwood T

The food was good..The omelette wasn't fluffy it was stiff. The french toast and the shrimps and grits was delicious. The waiter was amazing

Val Robinson

Great food and great service!

Jennifer Hamel

Came here for the brunch because my boyfriend has never had grits before. We also ordered the crawfish omelette. I was a little wary because it also had brie in it, but the dish was amazing and it balanced the Cajun sauce well.

Greg Goa

Had to wait about 30 minutes to get into this gem, the wait was worth it. Reasonably priced for excellent food. The lady working the door was charming and funny. Best French toast I’ve ever had!

David Dow

Surrey's is a funky neighborhood cafe in the lower garden district of New Orleans. The staff is friendly and keep your coffee filled. The food is wonderful though, fair warning, the banana pancake is large enough to easily feed four people.

Amanda Walker

Food is delicious. Tight squeeze, and waited about 20 minutes around noon, but it was worth the wait. Banana French toast was delicious. Our table by the kitchen had the AC blasting in it and was freezing cold but I think the rest of the restaurant was fine.

S Smash

Food is amazing worth the wait

Sarai Solis

Come to New Orleans and go to Surrey's. I love the huevos rancheros and their juice bar. It is always delicious. You have to wait outside for the table but it is totally worthy.

Katy Bonello

Food was ok. The fresh juice was great. And the local art for sale was a total win!!

Brianna Fonseca

My husband and I tried the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious. We may have to go back and try something else from the menu before our trip is over!

Luis Braz-Ruivo

Anybody giving 4 stars or less to this establishment should go eat at IHOP!! Excellent food, recommend shrimp and grits, very eclectic atmosphere and excellent service. Will come back soon. Busy place so come in early if you are in hurry. After 10am you may need to wait outside for available tables. Service is quick. Remember, after eating move on, there is other people waiting that want to experience this amazing place!

jenna g

One of my absolute favorite breakfast places in NOLA! Everything is amazing

Hattie J

Honestly some of the best French toast I've ever have

Deron Smithwick

This is very nice small resturant with great food and great service. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We were supposed to only here once but the food was so good my family voted to eat breakfast here our second day as well. Shrimp and Grits are good as well as the Bananas Foster French Toast. WE WILL EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!

aber105631

Great breakfast and fresh juice here. I loved the corned beef hash with andouille.

Christopher Wallis

The place was packed and it was a short wait to get sat, but, well worth it. We had a very good omelette filled with Brie and avacado and topped with crawfish. The shrimp and grits and the biscuits and gravy were equally amazing. The coffee was good and the very personable backwaiter kept our cups full throughout the meal. She suggested the orange, pineapple, and mango juice they had as a special item, so, we got one to go and it was also great. Our only criticism was with the waiter, who was more of an order taker with a bland personality, but, I wouldn't call him unfriendly. He checked on us once right after we got our food and we didn't see him again till he dropped the check. We had to ask for the juice to go after we got the check and he seemed surprised by that. If I lived in New Orleans, I would go to Surrey's on the regular for sure.

Simone Hawkins

Food fresh and delicious. Service with a smile. Nice decor.

Kelsey Stratton

Service was horrible and they refused to turn the fan down! The food was ok the buscuit was burnt

Jr

Definitely a good place to eat at. You'll have to usually wait to get in but it's worth it

Patrick

Cool spot. Nice staff.

Melissa Largent

Great food and employees were all friendly and on top of things

Parrie Perkins

The food was great. I had some grits and they were the best grits I've ever had. Thank you for the experience.

Shawn Ross

OMG! Go here for breakfast anytime you are close. So good.

Douglas Edge

Amazing food! You won't be disappointed! They now accept credit cards. There's normally a wait on the weekends.

Deborah Schwartz

Yummy breakfast. Do not come here if you are dieting!

Katrina Randall

Surrey's came as a recommendation from a friend and he did not steer me wrong. Super cute and quaint little juice bar with excellent food. I ordered the Barbecue Shrimp and Grits, which were amazing. I highly recommend. I also ordered a cup of coffee with chicory and it wasn't the greatest, but the shrimp and grits somehow made up for what it was lacking. The service was quick and good as well. Surrey's gets my stamp of approval.

Jesper Thomschütz

Brilliant food and service. Certainly a bit pricey, but the quality of the food was top notch. My favorite by far was the banana french toast. Ludicrously nice texture with contrasting bites of soft and hard bread along with some excellent banana and caramel flavors. Will certainly returning just for the toast alone before we leave!

Joshua Rivera

Great quaint restaurant close to the French Quarter. You can tell both locals and visitors alike come for the savory food. Had a scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, home fries, and a wonderful homemade biscuit. We also order the banana foster which was made with sourdough bread. Both meals were excellent and well portioned. Service was great and they even have local art for sale on the walls. If you like breakfast, this place is a must.

Andrea F

Met up with a friend here. Gets busy, very popular. Cute restaurant that has great food.

Eric Arundel

Good food, fun atmosphere. Took about 30 minutes to get a seat at 11 am on a Monday. Biscuits and gravy were a little spicy for us northerners, but good. Sausage was amazing! And French toast was pretty good. Loved the banana foster sauce. Price was decent for the food quality.

Heather Clancy

Amazing food and fun hippy ambiance - we came back a second time it was so good! Great local art for sale on the walls, too. Mad busy at brunch.

Heidi Chaffee

Delicious shrimp and grits!!! Flavorful, fresh food, and fast service. Love the vibes and unique interior decor.

Rick Kinney

A really neat little small cafe set amongst some of the historic houses on Magazine. The food was absolutely amazing. Boudin sausage with eggs cooked perfectly the way you want. Excellent bananas fosters french toast! Be ready for a bit of a wait though as it is popular and small lol. Worth it though!

Anesha L

Truly enjoyed this eclectic space. Staff was friendly and quick to seat you. Many things to see and taste. Crab omelette with a homemade biscuit...simple, flavorful and filling. The Banana Foster French toast hands down was excellent! Definitely on my list of stops.

Taylor Hamilton

Wonderful little place to have breakfast. Juice bar is pretty nice as well.

Viki Borisova

If you are looking for a real New Orleans experience - start your day here. The place is very popular so be ready to wait from 30 min to an hour. Their banana pancakes are giant and oh so delicious. Bring here your friends from out of town if you want them to taste some really good breakfast food and make an impression.

M Wen

Favorite brunch place in the city! So I hesitate to post a review since others will now know about the greatness of this place. Everyone I have brought here all say that this was where they had their best meal. Get the shrimp and grits and their Banana Foster French toast. They are both amazing in their own right. You will thank me.

Kathryn Poledna

Worth the effort to find this Gem Yummy food great service. Visited on Fat Monday the lady taking names was fun and good at getting you in and out

sunny kim

Wife and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. One of the best, if not the best I've had. Plenty of smoke and spice in each bite, with generous portions of shrimp...highly recommend.

Renrac Rod

Great spot for brunch! Crab melt on french was delicious!!

Yves-Marie Exumé

This is one of my favourite spots in NOLA. Second trip to the city and 3rd meal there. I recommend the crawfish omelette.

Jerry Reptak

We got there at around 9am on a Saturday and there was no wait, when we left at 10, there was a very long wait outside. So get there early! The French toast was delicious and has banana cream cheese inside. The shrimp were superb. This place was delicious and cheap

Isaiah 1566144 Love

Went here while on vacation for Mardi Gras the service and food was fast and great, on top of that the restaurant was an authentic New Orleans tradition vibe. There are many items to choose from on the menu you want regret. I will be returning here when ever I am in the Big Easy!

Toria Banks

Food was great!!! I had the tofu scramble with a side of grits no cheese. We waited a little under 10 minutes for the food. I could smell the flavors right when the waitress set the food down and knew it would be amazing. I was not disappointed. It was amazing. Wonderful flavor and good portions. My fiance had the crab omelette. He enjoyed his food as well and said it was really good. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Patrick Kennedy

Loved everything about this place - really charming decor, friendly and fast service, and great food! Had the avocado and crawfish omelette and it was amazing.

Denise

So sorry but this place does not get a good rating from me. We visited while we were at a recent festival in New Orleans and were seated at a table RIGHT BY THE BATHROOM!!!! Why are there even tables by the bathroom??? It's a unisex one bathroom that people go in and out of. Just visualize people at a food establishment going to a restroom and keep opening and closing the door. Yes....we have to smell everything that comes out of it. Also i asked for tea and this person was making my tea (he opened my tea bag with his bare dirty hands) and dropped the tea bag into the water. I don't care how good your food might be, hygiene means everything to me and this was not acceptable.

Valerie Charms Mason

Outstanding! We never miss it, when we're in New Orleans. Bananas Foster French Toast. Holy Hades!

Jacy Morey

OMG. Never had better brunch. Worth the wait. Might as well be in Paris. First time having actual French toast. Service was superb. Going again next time I'm in NO.

David Lindenmuth

Solid food, we enjoyed it a lot. Venue was small and a little bit of an attitude by some of the staff, but not enough to warn others away.

Daniel Hanold

Unpretentious deliciousness. Fast service. Everything was perfect for breakfast / brunch. Favorites: All the juices & the banana French toast.

Gabriela Oré Menéndez

There is a waiting period here, specially around festivities, but is great. Highly recommended. Great coffee and amazing menu. You can walk around the walk while you wait. It is a really nice neighborhood.

Jeff Marsicano

Great little place to grab breakfast or lunch. Excellent service. I got the crab omelette and French toast, both were delicious. The place is small though so show up early to avoid a long wait.

Weeraporn Rattanagate

Fresh orange juice and French Toast are excellence

Brittany Hosler

My husband and I loved this place for brunch. I had the amazing bananas foster french toast and he loved the freshly made bagels. The juice was a bit pricey, but it was good and obviously very fresh. The hostess was very kind as well as the rest of the staff. Would definitely go back.

Curtis LaMore

The ABSOLUTE TOP of the line in breakfast across the entire country. Banana Fosters French Toast is to die for. Crab Omelet for the savory side. Can't wait to come again.

Rosario García de Zúñiga

Great service and delicious food. Our favourite was the French toast with banana! Absolutely yummy!

Susie Leggett

Ordered Shrimp & Grits and an Omelette, both were delicious and nicely seasoned! One of our best restaurant experiences during our stay in New Orleans. The quiet location adds to it's charm and there is a nice display of local art throughout the restaurant.

Tahsin Khan

Great breakfast! Crab omelette and shrill and grits were great! Reasonably priced. Located nearby are some decent coffee shops, courtyard brewery and pubs/bars. Not a fancy place to sit down, but for breakfast or brunch it's good enough. I would recommend trying it out at least once!

Austin Walker

Surrey's is a great stop for a delicious breakfast, juice, and coffee. All of their juices are made fresh every morning and are as fresh as you can get. Their shrimp and grits were good as was their breakfast hash. My only complaint/suggestion would be to have larger tables for big parties. We had four people and there was barely enough room on each table for us to fit all of our food and coffee. An additional point to note is that they do not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own, which is great. We brought a bottle of champagne and it was an excellent addition to the OJ!

Tessa Turner

Had yummy shrimp and grits and fresh lemonade. Great hangover remedy! The service was very good too.

Isabel Eriksson

The food tasted incredible. The place had a very nice atmosphere and the service was great too.

Jordan Jacobs

This place has tasty food. I like the cool art on the walls. The building has a lot of character. Great breakfast spot in the garden district

Devon Carney

WE LOVE SURREY'S!!!! We ate here for breakfast EVERYDAY we were in NOLA. We discovered Surreys when we were on honeymoon several years ago. We heard about it on Food Network and being foodies ourselves, we had to check it out. This place is delicious! You may have to wait in line for a while but it's TOTALLY worth it. Seriously, wait in line. They make everything from scratch! Bagels, corn beef hash, freshly squeezed oj! Well, darn it...just talking about it makes me want another road trip. Surrey's I'm on my way!

Todd Mason

Whatever else you may want to order try the house specials, best breakfast in town!

Casey Homes

Great food, service and juice! Tiny place though, so go early or be ready to wait. But so worth it!

Nicole Scott

We arrived and there was a line and we were told it was an hour wait but it maybe ended up 20-30 minutes. Coffee was good, shrimp and grits were also great. The homemade bagels were amazing! We tried a few other things but highly recommend these items. Tom served us well!

Bianca Jamison

Love the banana fosters French toast.

Isaiah Agwu

It's painful to give this place 4 starts but gotta leave room from growth. Let me start by saying the food is incredible. (And please refresh the meaning of incredible when reading this). The atmosphere is eclectic and artsy and the staff know the meaning of customer service which, when done well, is no easy job. If you're visiting New Orleans, like I am, this is a perfect place to get some breakfast... It's worth the wait

Shelby Mcdonald

This place is very quaint and requires you to wait outside while waiting to be seated. They provide self serve water to knock the heat but still.... the staff were super nice and attentive considering we were a large group with children. I ordered the crabmeat omelette that was pretty ok. My only complaint is that the sauce is what “makes” it. So once you get to pieces that aren’t covered with the sauce it’s very bland and taste like well... eggs. My andouille sausages were cold and not very tasty. The fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious and my only gripe is there weren’t any free refills. My advice, get the bananas foster French toast and a large orange juice. You can thank me later.

john white

A very delicious place that I started my day with twice. Very chill, easygoing restaurant. The service was great & the decor was something to see. The banana pancake I had was almost as big as a manhole cover. I highly recommend it if you're in New Orleans.

Christian Bach Møller

Small cozy place, get there in time for an amazing breakfast experience. They got all sort of treats just waiting to be eaten. We had the stuffed croissant and it was a load of food. We weren't hungry until supper again.

David Morrison

A friend of mine recommended this place and I now see why. The staff are super friendly without being overbearing, the food is delicious and pricing very reasonable. Well worth the visit slightly off the main tourist route.

Amina Ross

Delicious! Fresh ingredients and not too heavy.

Solomon Burke

Very good, the breakfast sandwich was amazing

Nathan Adair

Very delicious and popular place. A bit pricey.

Deirdre Ni Bhroin

Breakfast burrito... Best ever

Zac Fabian

It seems like we went on a bad day. I liked my juice and coffee, but the two breakfast plates, the burrito and breakfast sandwich, we ordered were not very good. The potatoes were over cooked and not eatable. I see all the good reviews so maybe just an off moment, but definitely not even close to being impressed for how much it cost.

G McKinley

I read a number of reviews that brought me to this place because it was named as one of the best breakfast places in New Orleans. I ordered the bananas Foster French toast and I agree. The food was outstanding.

John B Barrett

Guess we we're lucky, didn't have to wait for table. Seated at window table, ordered traditional breakfast of eggs and bacon / sausage. All 3 orders came out quickly .Only complaint was coffee and refills were warm. I prefer hot coffee. overall great service, prices was very reasonable. Will return.

Jordan Neuhaus

My wife and I visited this little cafe, because we were passing through on a road trip through the south. I had the salmon lox bagel because I had seen it on television (Triple D). I was blown away by how tasty it was! I would definitely get this sandwich bagel again.

Kit O'Connell

Amazing selection of delicious food in a funky fun old house. Beware there can be a wait sometimes especially during tourist season

James Cook

I had an amazing crab omelet here. Great service, friendly staff and their juice was amazing too.

Simone Wilson

Best biscuits ever and the strawberry lemonade is to die for. The crab omelette is amazing!

ruthie irvin

Came here while on vacation this past weekend with friends and it blew us away. Do not get caught up on the exterior. The employees and the food was top notch. We loved the shrimp and grits, the banana French toast, & the crab meat omelet. Everything was soooooo AMAZING!!!

Victoria Evans

Atmosphere is like a wonderful old small house, high ceilings, with bright folk art everywhere. Fresh juices are FANTASTIC!! Food is great, service good. We did have to wait a long time for food, and there usually seems to be a line outside...but it will be worth it if you are not in a hurry! No alcohol, so get your mimosa fix another day.

Oliver Sierra

There's always a line, and you know what that means. Although it goes really fast, you'll wait around 20 mins. Brunch is really tasty here, and staff is very nice people. Try their mixed fresh juice

Peter Debbaneh

So good - very cozy and comfortable inside - all the food was great

Amanda Saczawa

Highly recommend the Bananas Foster French Toast for breakfast! This was absolutely to die for and the best breakfast I have ever tasted!! The biscuits were deliscious and so dense. Wish there was a Surrey’s back in Massachusetts. The cook definitely needs a pay raise with this menu. The restaurant was very clean and cozy.

Quartz pad

You have to try the fresh squeeze juice! Its really good! I ordered crabmeat omelette and pain perdu and they were delicious :)

Rasean Robinson

The most amazing shrimp & grits i’ve ever had!! They were absolutely full of flavor, fresh shrimp (no bag shrimp). I definitely will be back when I visit New Orleans again!

Wing Lee

The restaurant has beautiful decor. The shrimp n grits was delicious, it’s highly recommend. Creole shrimp omelette was a bit dry.

Shaun Marshall

OMG! Absolutely love the food here, a tough location to find, but it's definitely a hidden GEM.

Ricky Manning

Loved the food, but I didn't like the Biscuits and Gravy. It's definitely different from the gravy in Oklahoma. Dosent mean it's bad just not for me.

Daniel Ramirez

By far the best breakfast we had during our entire visit to New Orleans. Unassuming location with what seems like cool local artist work decorating the walls. All staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They fill up quick and seems like they typically have a wait. I recommend getting in early to try to beat the rush. And if you don't beat the rush, wait around, the food is worth the wait. The biscuits, the bacon, french toast, eggs, croissant, were all delicious. Did I mention, they have a variety of great tasting naturally squeezed fruit juices? After all it is a juice bar. Definitely worth a visit . . or two. . . Or three if in the area.

Lawrence XtremCreamer

The service was good, be prepared to sit comfortable close to other. If your group is larger than six prepare to not all sit together. They are very accommodating. The artist of painting's who worked there talked about personal stories behind her work. A must visit. Mt. Man

Laurie Roberts

Not sure how to decide on what to order so the table is now completely covered with dishes. A pretty healthy menu with so many options. I tried the homemade pressed juice special and it's healthy and delicious. Decided on granola yogurt with fruit and it was delivered quickly and with a lovely presentation. I also chose the bagel plate which I'll probably have to take with me because it will be too much to eat lol and it looks amazing so I'm sure it will be. My boyfriend ordered the bananas foster French toast and holy cow its ridiculously delicious! The building is small but they fit people in quickly so the wait wasn't long. Everyone is friendly and the whole operation is quite efficient. I still haven't asked why but the restaurant will only allow one check but at least with multiple forms of payment. This one check thing is definitely a New Orleans thing I need to get used to. Highly recommended spot!!

Lisa L.

Best bagels in all the world!!! I know.

Jerry Lee

Must have the biscuits and Gravy! Wonderful and the staff is awesome

Nicole Lee Scott

I had the veggie omelet. SO GOOD. We live in the area and usually do Another Broken Egg (also really good)...this was definitely better. Fantastic, quick, and friendly customer service. We went at 930am on a Monday morning. We had no line / wait (usually it's out the door and down the street
