If you are in this area... STOP AND EAT HERE! We found this little gem by accident and Wow! After being in NOLA for a few days, this place was the icing on the cake. They will even make half orders of appetizers so you can try more.. like the shrimp toast and cho chos . It is ao worth the couple of miles of the freeway. Food is great! The best moo goo gai pan I have ever had and I am very picky. Don't pass the chance up to eat here.

This restaurant has gone down since ownership I ordered house fried combination rice and I had to look for the meat. I would not reccomend none of my family to eat there.

Food is great, price is good, environment is good. Lunch for me is an 1/2 hour. Ruby garden opens at 11am. Not too much of my staff eats there because the average business work lunch is from 11am-1:00pm. Therefore, we don't have time to order, eat and return to work on time. They need to open at 10:30a instead of 11a. Orders can be made ahead of time and picked up at 11a or earlier.

they were once very good, good food, great service, j price. the last couple of times we visited, things seemed to slip a bit. I honestly don't like to complain because I know how inhard it is to to be consistent, it's a battle daily. Tonight's visit kinda screwed the pooch. I was visibility upset, when I said something about my meal to my server, she didn't even try a little bit to correct the issue. When I paid the bill as I was leaving, she asked if I was happy with everything, when I remarked that I wasn't, her reply was that I should ask for something different next time. I calmly remarked "that there would not be a next time". If we had not been there dozens of times in the past, it would be different. I knew what I was ordering based on past experience, what was delivered to my table was not what I usually get. I immediately let her know the problem and I didn't eat my meal other than sample in case it was to my liking, it was not. I gave no humbug, other than my previous remark. I paid my check and left. I'm not certain what is happening, the owner and staff are possibly over worked. idk I do know that the owner used to come around and check on the tables and ask if everything is ok, she has not done that in a while. Had she given the appearance of caring, as she used to, she could have saved a customer. Nough said

Good food (watch your tongue - it comes out HOT!). Excellent service (there was only 3 other people, and two waitresses). My only major complaint was an odd odor in the restaurant (could not place it, but I had the feeling that if I took the food to go, it would have tasted better).

This was the first time eating in and I really enjoyed it. The servers were nice and the food was fresh and hot. I absolutely loved the crab ragoons! I also tried a drink called, Mai Tai for the first time and it was really good. The setting was nice as well. I will definitely revisit soon.

Owners are fantastic people, super friendly. The waitress we had was horrible. Barely took our order, never checked.back to ask if we needed drinks or napkins or anything at all. Threw 2 fortune cookies on our table and never even looked at us much less ask of we needed something. Hot and Sour soup not good, rice not good, but the honey chicken was really good. I feel bad for the owners because they are trying really hard. Seemed to be very busy though so maybe it was just me. Won't go back though.

We eat here a few times a year. 7 of us....they may not be the best place in the world but, they make up for it in how hospitable the owner and staff are when you visit. Dont think im saying the food is bad because it's pretty good actually. We eat for under 60 bucks (10 dollar tip included) and always have leftovers. The owner usually comes and has little extra snack for the kids and the kids get super excited over the little extras! They make you feel good when you're there!

I called ahead to place my order and she hung up on me so I'm like wow they must be busy. I get there and only two tables were seated with people. I get my food and it's pulled apart chicken strips with sweet and sour sauce pour on top . My chicken lo mein had 1 piece of a vegetable and was kinda greasy. But it wasn't horrible. So I gave it a ok but I wouldn't recommend it to my family.
