It's ok. We eat here every now and then because it's the only option and that's about the only reason. The chicken (whatever kind you get) is tiny and 90% breading 10% chicken (you'll see what I mean). If you want it spicy you have to tell them because even though it says spicy on the menu it won't come that way. The decor is very old and needs updated. It is however clean as they clean all the time. The service is good they are always very friendly.

They have a decent sushi buffet, small Mongolian grill, reasonable staff, and a wide variety of Chinese food for a lunch price of under 10 bucks. If you are looking for more than that in a Chinese buffet then lower your standards. Best Chinese buffet in the area in my opinion.

This is my second favorite Chinese restaurant and the closest one to me. We have gone here multiple times and the food is always good, it usually starts to get packed towards the evening. And don't tell anybody but it's nice and quiet during the afternoon. For some of the staff English not their first language but doesn't that mean it's a good authentic Chinese restaurant. All the times I've been there the services has been really good even during the busy times and it's got that family run atmosphere.

I'm not sure where the other reviewers ate at. I think they are mistaken this dive for Panda Express. This place is a breeding ground for food poisoning!! I unfortunately got sick from eating at this restaurant!! If you do go to this place, look around before eating!! The place is filthy!! The food was barely warm. The "sushi bar" and "Grill area" looked like a war zone!! I am also reporting them to the health department. I have eaten in many different Chinese restaurants all over the country, this is the worst by far!!

This establishments owner/manager is very rude with a cocky attitude he is very disrespectful and among other things he's prejudice. My lid on a to go tray was slightly open on one side, he told me I was trying to feed 20 people at my house on him. Then he told me I was greedy and therefore he was going to be greedy and charge me double which I was gonna pay $20 for 1 buffet tray. Hey he showed me his sign about trays not completely closed and how greedy I am so I'd pay double. I left there never to return. It's bad when you order buffet to go he makes it his business to watch what and how much you put in your tray. This outraged me. That's not good business. I have been patronizing this facility for over 3 years. I'm done with Panda Restaurant.

If I could rate 0 stars I absolutely would. Came around lunch time (3:00pm) food was absolutely NOT fresh. Didn’t even finish one plate. Tried to talk to the manager and let him know and he argued with my friend and I and told us if we didn’t like it we could go to Lake Charles bc they have different management. If every in Alexandria I don’t recommend you eat here. (12/12/18)

First I ask for no red hot peppers but still get red ppers. The oder was so salty i tried to eat but was impossible. Than I go to pay for my order it should have been $22 . She OVER CHARGED me an ADDITIONAL $8 ON MY BILL. I asked her and she said oh oh ok I got it. SHE KNEW SHE OVER CHARGED ME ON PURPOSE !!! THATS CALLED STEALING . I asked her to let me see the bill and she wouldn't, my guess it only said $22. And she was caught stealing . Her I cant speak English right only go,s so far. If you cant count or speak English hire someone that does.

I go here when I'm in town because it's one of the few places familiar with in Alexandria. The place is relatively clean, the menu is basic for a Chinese restaurant. They have decent variety and the food taste okay depending on what time you go, food is fresher during lunch.

Went into panda around 9:00pm (close at 10:30pm) and they told us while we were fixing our plates that we should of come earlier that they are pretty much closed for the night, so that's why they barely had any food out, and still charged full price.

Easily one of the best of its type in town, this restaurant has a good variety & the food is delicious. It is not a large buffet - only 5 food bars from which to choose your meal, a pick-your-own hibachi, & a sushi bar - but the quality of food makes up for that. If you're looking for sushi to be the star of your meal, you'll want to try one of the other specialty restaurants. However, Panda's sushi is a nice addition. Most of the time, the restaurant is very clean. Over the 15+ years I have frequented this place, I have found the restrooms in disarray only a few times. Usually, mentioning it to any of the workers fixes the issue very quickly. We most often have great service. Every now & then we will meet a new worker (the new ones usually really struggle with English) & while the experience might be a little difficult, it isn't bad. For example, the new girl last night brought unsweet when I ordered sweet tea. All other drink orders at our table were correct. She brought a sweet tea for me when I asked. Minor inconvenience & in no way detrimental to our dining experience. If you're looking for glamour, go elsewhere. If you want GOOD FOOD, this is your place.

Panda Restaurant is a perfect place to get chinese fare. The place was very clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The buffet was delicious and we'll supplied. The food was actually hot, they kept the steam going as opposed to other restaurants that allow food to cool down. The restrooms were clean. They have handicapped parking and entry accessable and ample parking for all. I never felt rushed to leave either. If your ever in Alexandria La. and want good Chinese buffet give them a try.

Hands down the worst Chinese I have ever had in my entire life, tastes awful , raw uncooked garlic cloves! I literally had broccoli in a stew of MSG's funny really as I highlighted little to none broccoli Twice. My husband who had some meat dish and who is not a picky eater left his! So in the end we made eggs on toast ! Their produce and sauces are Unhealthy, unwashed ingredients. Eaters , be warned !

Panda is a wonderful Chinese Restaurant. The family who owns it really care about providing excellent service to their customers. The ingredients are always fresh, and the staff is friendly. If you want extra spice, just ask. Hands down, they have the best Spring Rolls in the region. I always leave full and happy, so what more could you want? The service is fast, the restaurant is clean, and the food is exceptional.

so I went here today bc I was wanting some fried rice ..
