Food and atmosphere is awesome. Just have one problem with the way employees are treated by management. My wife was a employee and had gotten hit by a truck crossing the road and was in ICU, So I made sure to inform some one in management.it took her about 2 and a half months to recover.we made sure to inform management during this time on how my wife's recovery was going.well she finally got her return to work with light duty's paperwork she was so excited, well she informed management and got nothing but the run around. We did everything to keep management informed and started hearing from friends and employees that my wife" was not to be rehired". Now I've read the employee handbook from front to back and there is nothing in there that says my wife is not eligible to return to work,we kept management informed the whole time she was in recovery. Please contact me if you were actually the real owners of Outlaws that reply back to these reviews.

My initial rating was inaccurate, possibly the actions of my cell being in my back pocket. A man from the south that doesn't like Outlaw's Barbeque is either unfortunate or simply can't be trusted. In all fairness and honesty, my thoughts of Outlaw's is quite superior. My wife and I go anytime, I can find extra $$, the BBQ is stellar, we enjoy the sides just as much, if not more. Hats off to the cooks, they keep some good ones, without those guys, don't know if I'd feel the same way :)

If I can give this place a negative rating I would. I have never been to a bbq place ask to sample the moist brisket and and they hand Me a sample that look chewed up and spit out((yes it was chopped beef but I didn't ask to sample that). The black meat cutter named Tim was VERY RUDE about the situation didn't want to fix the issue until things started getting heated. This left a very bad taste in my mouth to were they will never get my business.

I've been before and it was excellent; this visit was poor.. hoping it was just a bad night; The 1st time I went, they were SUPER helpful in helping me decide, much like a place that would rattle off specials of the day etc.. this visit, the lady that took our order simply stared at me with a look of impatience; the chicken was dry and the dirty rice seemed to be scrapped from the bottom of the pan; I'm not giving up, like I said, I've had previous visits that were outstanding.

My wife and I ordered 2 chopped bakers with beef and 2 Qurly Q’s. When we got to the window to pay the girl at the drive through handed us our food and my wife checked it to make sure that everything was in there and no it wasn’t we only had 1 chopped baker and our fries but was missing one of our chopped bakers when we told the girl she said that we only ordered one very rudely. I understand if she didn’t hear me say 2 chopped bakers but at least be nice about it. So she went on to say that she didn’t ring up the second chopped baker so we will have to pay for it which was fine but then she went on and rudely closed the window and then got my card for payment and gave us our other baked potato when we got home as I was eating my baked potatoe I realized that it was hard in some areas and tasted kind of rotten or something and my wife also tasted it and said the same thing. My wife told me to call them and let them know. I can’t help but wonder if my potato was messed up on purpose since they had to fix a extra one because the girl didn’t hear me order 2 chopped bakers and had a attitude. When I called y’all and asked to speak to the manager I told him what happened while I had him on speaker so that my wife can also hear he asked if I wanted it replaced and I said no not today so after that he became rude with me. And said well what did you order and I told him a chopped baker with beef and he said ok bring your receipt and we will replace it he never apologized and also hung up on me. I won’t be visiting Oatlaws anytime soon 2 rude workers in one day is unacceptable. I rather take my business else where. Me and my wife hasn’t been in 11 months and we decided to give them a try today and yet we regret our decision and wish we would have ate somewheres else today.

The food is always decent. Only a few times its inconsistent but I can say the service is sometimes a bit inconsistent as well. The girls at the drive thru were a bit moody a few times with one incident where a girl closed the window right in my face after she handed me my food before I could say thank you or have a good day. The food is good though and I'd say order just about anything.

This place was extremely busy when I showed up. I have no clue why all my food was cold. Therefore, I turned around and went back to the drive thru to tell the employees. They seemed surprised or thought that I was being difficult. I can grill better at home. Their expensive and lack seasoning. The food was cold and bland. I must have visited on a bad day. They should work on their quality control. I don't waste my hard earned money. I wouldn't go back.

I love Outlaws burgers but every time I go after hours the fries are cold and I mean EVERY TIME! Those lamps DO NOT keep fries hot. I get a great burger with lukewarm to cold fries.

Outlaws got my order wrong on a side order of baked potato I ordered on June 17 2019. I live 50 miles away so I didn’t notice as it was already in a sack ready to go. I called this morning to talk to the manager just to say that the order on the potato was wrong and please talk to the girl (whose name starts with a T) taking the order to listen carefully to the customer. I specifically ordered a PLAIN baked potato with butter and got a loaded sweet potato. We threw it away because my husband has health issues and can’t eat it. The woman was very rude to me and did not want to listen to my complaint at all. She asked so what do you want me to do about it? She said there were too many working up there that can mess up an order and she has no control over it. I said to just make sure this girl ( I told her the name of the one who waited on me) listens to what the customer wants, ask the customer questions to clarify what they want and get the order right. On my ticket she was the one who typed in sweet potato! The manager didn’t want to acknowledge she did anything wrong, but there was clearly not “baked potato on the ticket! I couldn’t believe the manager hung up on me!!! I was not yelling or making it impossible to have a conversation about it at all. I taught school for 32 years and I know how to talk decently about a problem. I thought well maybe it was a bad connection so I tried to call her back but I guess she took the phone off the hook, making it impossible to finish our conversation. So here I am to tell the owner maybe he/she needs to talk to this manager about customer service politeness and HOW to deal with a customer with a complaint. If you treat your customers this way then there will be people going somewhere else, like me!!

Great place to stop if you're on the road. It was our first time here, as we were driving from NOLA to Dallas. Got the outlaw Special and the baked potato with shredded beef inside, it was a lot of food. Good service, brisket was lean just the way I like it. The manager let us try some of the sides we were unifamiliar with, he was so nice.

Went to take my mom out to eat and waited 15 minutes for bar service. After being run around 3 different people an older woman said she found a manager that could do it... AFTER my food was already on the table. 10/10 will not return. The customer service has really gone down hill. Why offer alcohol if you won't serve it to paying customers?

Half rack ribs plate, awesome. The meat was so tinder, and the potato salad and baked beans are delicious. I had to come home and get a piece of bread, but other than that, the meal was fantastic. The drive-thru service was pretty fast.

The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star was the fact that the meat portions were very small. I got the 2 meat combo with chopped pork and sausage. The pork may have been 1/2 cup and 1/2 of that was fat. Great, prompt service and restaurant was very clean and also easy to get too off I49.

Excellent BBQ restaurant. I'm particularly fond of the chopped beef sandwich, with a side of potato salad. The place itself has a western but not overly "cowboy" atmosphere. Wood wood wood! Permeated by the excellent smell of delicious cooking meat. Highly recommended.

I will note that there was a really long line for the drive thru. Maybe that resulted in our warm food and the wait too. Would definitely come back and try it again.

Food prices have increased while portions have shrank. Drive-thru menu is confusing in that side salad is listed directly under the options for Brisket salad (spring mix $7.99 Iceburg $7.49 side salad $4.49) making it seem like you can get a smaller portion of the brisket salad for $4.49 which is not the case. Ordered spicy bbq sauce with my order and had to ask for it again after checking to see that it wasn't with my food (not a big deal by itself but the girl at the window got rather huffy when I asked for it again). The meat is delicious but I don't see myself coming back. Most restaurants in this town suffer from poor customer service and I'm sorry to say Outlaw's is no longer an exception.

A baked potatoe casserole should not be just a mashed up baked potatoe and nothing on it. I asked for butter and sour cream and was charged 39 cents a piece. The issue isnt the money, its the principle.

Their "Chopped Baker" potato has the best of everything, chopped brisket, cheese, bacon, sour cream, green onions, bacon bits and butter!!!! It usually can be shared by 2 people in my opinion. Had the Outlaw special of brisket, ribs and sausage last night with baked beans and coleslaw. Mmmmm mmm! Don't forget some sauce!

My family and I love Outlaws! We typically eat at the one in Pineville, but we tried this one after the remodel. Looked great inside but we noticed that the chopped baker potato was noticeably smaller than what we're used in Pineville and the ordering process was not as fluid as we're used to (in terms of the cashier walking us through combos and other details of our order).

Seems fairly new, it was good. Had the 2 meal BBQ plate. With Ribs and Brisket, both were good. Had a good smokey flavor added some of the additional sauces. I really liked the spicy BBQ sauce had a little tangy taste to it. I also had sides, which was Mac & Cheese and Potato Casserole. Both were delicious the Mac & Cheese had meat inside couldn't determine what it was maybe ham, but it was good. Also Potato Casserole was awesome. It is a little high on price, it is a A La Carte style. Still recommend giving this place a try.

We went through the drive-thru at The Outlaws in Alexandria Louisiana today. We got 2 sliced beef sandwiches today One was fine but the other one was nothing but 4 big hunks of fat. We went back through the drive-through and ask to talk to the manager. When we got to the window she didn't want to get the manager but I insisted. When the manager came out and I showed her the four big hunks of fat she said that is customary. We don't cut the fat off anymore. Well it's not satisfactory with me so I insisted on my money back on one sandwich and she reluctantly gave it back to me but she was not real friendly. This was the Outlaws store in Alexandria. We usually drive to Pineville even though we live in Alexandria because the food is always better in Pineville. The only reason we stopped by the Alexandria store today was because we was in a hurry but we won't be in that bigger hurry anymore.

Ordered a cupcake for dessert ( thru Waitr so i couldnt see what i was buying). At one time they were serving from "Little Cakes with Big Attitude." Don't know what happened because what I received was NOT. It was a small cupcake that i could have baked myself and was almost 4 dollars. TERRIBLE!! Have been coming here since I was a kid and the service over the last few years has been on the steady decline!! Drive-thru seems to get it right but don’t waste your time in the dining room. Twice I have not gotten my order so I’m done. This place is the most underrated restaurant in the CENLA area and has the best BBQ I have ever had (sorry grandma). I really loved the attitude of the workers especially from this single boy. I never got his name but all I remember was his big smile and ginger hair. He helped me decide the perfect meal to eat and turns out it tasted better than it sounded. We then talked for a while and turns out he was also a two time employee of the month which then inspired me to get a job. Would extremely recommend this place to anyone who likes good food good times and good people.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTravels. Alexandria Louisiana. We drove over to Outlaws BBQ after our miscue at Eddies. I had the Outlaw plate with sliced brisket, sausage and ribs. Diane had a chopped beef sandwich and we ordered a onion loaf. I was not happy about having to come back this way after the other fiasco so I was ready to tear this review up if they weren't as advertised. We were not disappointed. Everything had a good smoked flavor that present but not taking away from the flavors of the meats. The brisket was tender even though we were at the end of the day. The ribs likewise were tender and the seasoning they used was different and really good. The sausage was a stand out for me. Unique flavor and once again tender. They have three house sauces, original, sweet and spicy. The original was my favorite and Diane had a hard time deciding between the sweet and original. The spicy had just a little bit more vinegar than I like but was still enjoyable. The onion straws were thin and crispy, the coleslaw was a little dry for me but fresh. We asked that they fry the okra extra and they did making it crunchy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice atmosphere and they even have a neat hand washing station in the dining room. Overall two thumbs up. Recommended!
