REVIEWS OF Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar & Bistro IN Louisiana

Chris R

Simply Amazing, we were recommended to go her by another couple and I was thoroughly impressed. Very classy place with music a lot of great wine and very laid back. I had Seafood Gumbo Crab cakes and my Wife had the Mussels everything was delectable and the presentation immaculate.

Amar Dhadli

Main part of dish was "good" but supporting stuff, such as veg, potatoes etc was very bad . The lamb dish was a confusion. The lamb itself was nicely cooked, but herb encrusted?? No way. Not impressed at all. Had much better food and service elsewhere.

james marx

Ask for sunshine shes got all your favorite spirts and craft designed cocktails .

Nancy Coll

Great find just off Bourbon Street. Nice menu selection of appetizers and entrees. We had the shrimp and scallops special, rack of lamb and steak au poivre. All delicious including the goat cheese cheesecake and vanilla bread pudding.

Chris Anderson

Oh my! A fantastic little bistro! Their signature bacon appetizer is great. Best steak I've had in the FQ. Huge wine selection as well. Great outdoor courtyard.

Colleen Wallace

Great location. Sat in the courtyard for dinner. Food was pretty good; split the barbecue shrimp and Oysters Orleans which were tasty, as was the salad but the mushroom soup was very thin and tepid. LOVED the homemade Key lime pie - best I've had in several years. The waiter was attentive but the food service person slopped the soup out of the bowl as it was served, then just dropped the soup spoon on the table. I'd go there again, but I'll skip the soup.

Joel Azopardi

Amazing spot for a quiet glass of wine, off the main strip. The staff here are very friendly and know their wines. Courtyard out back is a beautiful spot to sit and eat. The best part - Bacon Bar snacks!

Madeleine Kattan

Super romantic dinner date on the patio! We had the crab cakes, mussels, and ahi tuna. The tuna was delicious and the wasabi aioli was a really nice touch. Our service was great. My one complaint would be that the food was served a bit too fast. We would be eating one dish and when we barely started it the next one would come out and would be cold by the time we would get to it so it felt a bit rushed but the food was yummy!

Ryan Leonard

Amazing food and service! Would definitely recommend!!!

Charlie Corpening

Best gumbo hands down. Steak is good too!

David Roman

Seemed like kind of a hole in the wall, just off Bourbon Street (Was also Sunday night). Good selection of wine. They gave complimentary Bacon (very tasty) , which should be a thing everywhere! Bartender was a super nice guy. Offered great service.

Siddhesh Deshpande

Kinda expensive as the portion size is pretty less.

Elizabeth Ferguson

Ate in the courtyard, which was lovely. The lamb was done right and the wines were fabulous. I had a great glass of port with dessert. Relied on the server's recommendations for wine selection and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was fantastic. Will definitely return.

CoffeeCreole

The atmosphere was everything. Quiet but not boring?! Ha! Anyways...The Food was delicious. I had the lamb and the suggested red wine “Velvet Devil”. Our host, Robert, was super nice and assisted us with all needed. William, though, did ask us,if everything went well after we paid with our added tip, maybe I’m overthinking but I kind of felt like he was saying we didn’t tip enough.

I suppose it's fine if you like pricey food with tastes that don't make sense. I ordered the scallops with rice. Never again. The rice was sweet and juicy because they put some sort of blueberry reduction mop water all over it. The bbq shrimp was so obviously pre frozen..the sauce they drowned that in couldn't mask the lack of effort unfortunately. The waitress was nice enough and the free warm french bread was the best part. But the butter was sweet and lackluster as well. Wasn't a great first night dining experience..I prayed the rest of new Orleans wasn't like this. Go to FRENCH TOAST!

Dayna Ryan

Not very impressed with the service at this restaurant. Went in to meet my family (a 10 top), could not stay as we had just driven for 6 hours with 2 toddlers. Asked if I could order something to go, waitress said yes, but ordering at the bar would be quicker. Went to the bar and bartender stated that they did not take to go orders at the restaurant. I said the waitress told me to order at the bar it would be faster. He made a show like he would check with the chef and the chef said no. Not sure what is different from preparing food to serve in the restaurant versus food to go. Could have just made me a regular plate and I could have boxed it myself. Guess they don't need business or good customer opinions. The rest of the family had already ordered or we would have all just walked out. So much for good old south Louisiana hospitality.

Michaelene Klotz

Loved this place. Food was awesome and the courtyard was quaint. Staff very friendly. Loved the bacon happy hour! Our friend really appreciated the wine selection. Take a moment off Bourbon St for some calm and delicious foods.

Henry Katz

Fantastic intimate dining in the courtyard. Very good value. Ordered warm Brie and Mussels for appetizers. Loved it. Very reasonable price for drinks (for the quality of the restaurant)

Christopher DeGance

Nice atmosphere, but service was a little slow. Food is good

shelby nunya

Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had the warm Brie, rack of lamb (incredible) with truffle mashed potatoes and the double cut pork chop with pancetta and sweet potato hash. Service was fantastic too, we were greeted by a very nice woman who sat us quickly and our server Kelly was so sweet! Our entrees were brought out so quickly yet were so fresh. Highly recommend!!!

Chris Perry

Great service and amazing food. Had the duck salad with blue cheese, balsamic vinegar and blue berries which surprisingly went very well together. Also had scallops and beef medallions which were great.

Sarah E

Bartender was great, he had awesome recommendations and knew a ton about the liquor.

Peggy Small

Hidden gem of a courtyard. Food fantastic and bread pudding to die for! A must visit in the quarter

Kimberly Powell

Bacon served at happy hour. Service is wonderful. Food is also amazing. Lamb chops were good. Had the scallops, which were also good. We stop in here every time we are in town. Outside seating, inside is small butt cozy, and they also have a small courtyard in the back. Small menu, but nice variety.

Johana Santiago

The food in this place was amazing. Best lamb i have ever had. The service was also great.

Darrian Young

Wonderful spot for dinner. Outdoor patio, excellent food, and no-rush, friendly service. Perfect place for a nice night out.

Mike Holland

Nice place...right off Bourbon St.

Scott Blahnik

The three wines ... nice

Christine Warrington

Awesome place we happened upon. Excellent food and wines. Courtyard.

Patrick Cunningham

Outstanding food & service. We went twice this past weekend on a suggestion from a friend. Gumbo, mussels, beef medallions and crab-cakes both times. Excellent! And the bread w/ vanilla butter is to die for.

Jim Bell

Great food, gumbo, shrimp, rice. Quaint, cozy, historic bar and grille. Locals love it. That's why I went. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable staff. GREAT wine selection. A little off the beaten path, quieter area. Can't recommend enough!

Jenni Lambert

Great atmosphere, great service, and yummy food. We really enjoyed the wine flights as well. Bacon happy hour is fun touch.

Brenda Tayim

The food was incredible! Highly recommend the escargot and the mushroom du vin.

Austyn Cousins

Incredibly rude hostess, but very nice atmosphere.

J Man

I am a celiac and visited this restaurant because of its variety of gluten free options. When we were seated I informed our waiter of my allergy and he told me to order meals with the small asterisk because they are gluten free. Let me start off by saying the selection is awesome and there are gluten free options in every category. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and asked the waiter to make sure the French bread is on the side. When the BBQ shrimp arrived the bowl was filled with tasty shrimp and FRENCH BREAD. I informed the waiter that they accidentally put bread in my shrimp and his response was "are you so allergic that you can't eat it?" I felt like I was being asked to take a light poisoning. I took the precaution of photographing my order prior to sending it back. Our main courses arrived a few minutes later and the waiter asked if I still wanted my BBQ shrimp. I said yes and they brought it right out. Trouble is they pulled the bread out and sent me the same shrimp. I told the waiter I didn't want it and explained that it was the same order and it would be poison for me. He then said they made it fresh for me and that it was a newly prepared order. I then showed him the photographs and he took it back. I then went to the bathroom and my waiter walked in. We both felt a little awkward due to the attempted poisoning. It really must have bothered my waiter because he used the urinal and walked straight out without washing his hands!!! Little did I know but gluten was the least of my worries as urine was also on the menu. My double cut pork chop was delicious and well prepared. The fish Amandine was also amazing and the wine was amazing. With some gluten sensitivity training and some basic hygiene training this place will be a TEN but until the staff has a sign reminding them to wash hands before returning to work we are all at risk.

Godfrey Brooke

Great stuffed flounder. The bread pudding was much better than any I have had before. Great atmosphere with lots of giant plants and cool air.

Anthony Stanley

The food was very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. We went twice and got the patio once. The second time they would not seat us outside as it was raining a little. Stayed inside and it was good. Happy hour was advertised as reduced drink prices and free bacon. It was a nice draw to get us in the door. They were very skimpy on the bacon and only brought us (4 people) six thin strips of bacon. They brought no more. If you are going and hoping for more bacon to munch on, maybe bring your own.

Marley Rose

Loved the server I had Jason was super cool

Dolores Diaz

I walked in and sat at the bar. When they asked if I wanted a food menu I said only a drink for now. Gradually the nice vibe won me over. I ordered catch of the day. I got to talking to someone and we had a great time. Then another person came in and she was interesting too. Good place.

Will Matthews

Gotta love wine with a side of bacon! Mixed drinks could have used some more originality. But other then that it was a great experience.

William Wible

Great food and ambiance

Steve McCaa

Just half a block off Bourbon street this little gem manages to avoid the tourist trap feel of its surroundings. Great wine selection, with a full bar too. Great food. French style but some down home goodness. Deserts were awesome as well. Wine flight specials 4-6 or after 10. No reservation available, except for large parties. But off season there isn’t usually a wait. Highly recommended.

Krysta Schrader

The ambiance at our garden table was lovely, like a little oasis. Our server Bill suggested the best options. Everything we had was incredible. Top notch food, service, and atmosphere. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Would highly recommend. Met the owners who were at the bar on our way out and they were very nice as well. Thanks!!

Andy Deane

Great place off the beaten path.

Mark Graham

Awesome courtyard, great wine selection and cheese plates, good food in the heart of the French Quarter.

Jean-Philippe Fichere

Great place, great food, wine list is the best around this place so far. Great atmosphere, friendly service. Sure spot!

Greg Johnson

Absolutely lovely place, our server Kelly was wonderful, and the food perfection!

Kaliecia Sparkles

Food was great. Service was great. As always.

Robert Legarreta

Had dinner and cocktails with 3 other friends, dinner was great.

Janie Blaize

Absolute MUST when in New Orleans. Happy hour to die for with that basket of bacon to nibble on ❤️

Jeni Mahon

Service, food and ambiance...all fantastic! Highly recommended. Rack of lamb melts in your mouth, Lobster was huge and cooked perfectly. Completely stuffed, we still had ti have the pecan pie...Best we've ever had, rich, but not iver the top sweet, delicious! Enjoy

Kristian Rude-Hansen

Cozy and nice restaurant! Amazing food and a great bar. Quiet and less touristy than other places in the French Quarter.

Jeswin Joseph

Interesting place with great food!

Ector Garcia

Love Love this place. It is a little off the beaten path and is a great alternative to Burbon Street. The food is excellent but the Drinks and Bacon Happy Hour is the reason to go. Bacon Bacon and more Bacon

Wesley Thompson

Literally the best food I've ever had. I'd say it's even reasonably priced for the quality. My wife enjoyed it so much we ate there 3 times over our 5 day trip. They maintained a level of consistency you don't always see at a restaurant. The lamb is absolutely amazing, tender and without the gameyness that often comes with lamb.

Andrew Sepulveda

Wonderful waitress. The courtyard was magical.

David Highley

Good food and service. We all enjoyed our dinners.

Sharon Replogle

Great food and wine flights, loved it!

Mike Kain

A must visit in nola.great wine choices, awesome dinners in the courtyard.great bartender's and last but not least, bacon at the bar for free??

Liz Turpin

Great atmosphere. Delicious wine and food.

Peter Garrison

Happy Hour in NOLA is perfect time to visit the Grapevine. They have "wine flights" You pick the type, Pino, Chardonay, etc and you get 3 glasses all high end.. and are served a basket of bacon to cleanse the palate..Yummy with other Happy Hour concoctions also. We also returned for dinner, enjoying their "small Plates" perfect for a ladies night..reasonably priced

Janet Davis

Such a lovely restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great service. I highly recommend.

Shane C

Lovely setting, charming, helpful and knowledgeable staff coupled with delightful good and drink. What's not to love?

Troy Gainey

steven yeh

Great food with lots of gluten free options!

Frank R.

Great New Orleans vibe. Great food. Met the owner Pam who came to introduce herself and bought us dessert. Great last meal in New Orleans.

Emma noble

Loved this place! Upscale, but homey and cozy. The bartender Sunshine was amazing and how can you beat strips of bacon fora snack during their bacon happy hour?!

Eliot kamenitz

Great food in this dark cozy rich in atmosphere restaurant and bar. Love the double cut pork chops. Favorite with locals. The night I was there some jazz players stopped in for dinner at the bar and one gave a short impromptu concert on the piano

Karl Letsche

BBQ Shrimp was superb. Try it out.

Sergio Guerra

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. Definitely coming back!

Elené Swanepoel

The food is absolutely delicious! Their pork chops was perfectly grilled en their fillet steak melted in your mouth! Would definitely recommend this place !

Barry Whitten

The food is amazing! Best Rack of Lamb ever!

Brian Mason

Been here before. Bacon alone makes me want to return. But it's a good vibe, great wine menu, and fun staff that makes it popular.

Steven Alcala

Came here for an early dinner. Had a seat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender Mark who was extremely friendly. During happy hour they serve bacon which is pretty cool. Great wine list. Although I did not have an entree the small plate I had (Angus Bites) was delicious and well presented. Will definitely come back again.

Kelly Below

Delicious food, great back courtyard area with lovely heaters for the cool night

William Culbertson

Excellent staff and food, will return

Laura Ladner

I love this place! If you want a classic New Orleans environment without all of the drunk tourists, this is the perfect place. Amazing food menu of fresh ingredients and an even better wine menu!! I will come back every time I visit NOLA.

Don Petrrson

Excellent food. Great service. Quiet enough to talk. Great experience

dcstreet vendor

Great food great service. Try the bbq shrimp and compliment the chef!

Juliet Keating

Wonderful happy hour. We sat in the patio area where they had cooling fans and lots of shade. The shrimp remoulade was amazing and a large portion. Will return.

Emily Murdaugh

Absolutely wonderful! Just what we were looking for! The baked bree with candied walnut glaze was my favorite!

Martin Thomas

Great food, great service.... possibly one of our new favorites! Best piece of red meat I have ever had in my life and I am almost 67 years old ! The mussels we're excellent as well!

Carl Cervone

Nice spot, feels like a refuge from the craziness of the French Quarter. There’s a patio in the front, more seats indoors and at the bar, and a nice garden in the back. Service was excellent despite the place being quite full. We ordered the warm Brie with pecans and honey, the mussels in saffron broth, and the baked oysters. They were served with warm, fresh baguettes with butter. Everything was tasty. Would definitely come back here again for more comfort food. Price is right too.

Brittanie Colden

Orleans Grapevine has a nice atmosphere and great service! We went on a Saturday during Happy Hour. My friend and I had to wait for a few minutes to be greeted but were taken to a table right away and told about the specials. I believe they told us that they didn’t serve the full menu until around 6pm but that we were able to get drinks and appetizers. A huge plus for me is that they serve free bacon during happy hour. Who does that?!? They also serve warm baguettes with a spicy butter for the table to share. We both enjoyed the Pecans Praline drink. It was very sweet and something that I’d never tried before. I will absolutely stop by this gem the next time I’m in New Orleans.

Milan Luna

Great food, atmosphere, & service... The goat cheese cake, is off the chain; i think it ruined any other cheesecake for life!....Soo richly perfect! Happy Birthing Day to ME!

Shreya Shanbhag

Tried eating at such a setting for the first time. Ambience resembled more like a sports bar but the food sounded and looked very high-end. Good portions and new and funky tasting foods. Ordered pan-seared scallops wrapped with applewood bacon on top of mushroom wild rice in a blackberry reduction. Also had a bread pudding for dessert which turned out to be too much for 2 people to share. Would love to eat here again.

Stephy Borden

Went with bf. It was so cute. The wine selection is good but not amazing. Our server was really nice. I love the bacon instead of bread basket!

Errol Oguzhan

Found this place while planning our trip to New Orleans. My wife and I love wine and when I saw their bacon happy hour every day I was set on trying it out. The cocktails were great as well as the service. The food is very good and of course the bacon.

George Faccenda

Amazing time we dined at the "Special Table" for a 7 course meal big thanks to Kelly Our server and Mark the General Manager for an great Anniversary dinner

Danielle R

Delicious food and drinks, phenomenal service and tons of gluten free options. Our server Johnny was very attentive and had great recommendations. We will be back!

Brandon Quzack

They have a bacon happy hour where you get a side of bacon with each cocktail that you order.

Nathan Grove

This was a true gem. We hadn't planned on going to a wine bar on our trip, but we saw this place in passing and just had to check it out. Tucked away, in a cute little courtyard, romantically lit, you can't help but grab a glass of wine a snack with your loved ones. The service is perfect, and their offerings are completely unique. I had never tried frog legs before now, and I'm so glad I tried them here.

Isabel Eriksson

The vegetarian options were terrible. Just a huge plate of random vegetables without any seasoning or sauce.

Thommy Panic

This was the highlight of our trip. Incredible staff made us feel right at home. A large selection of brilliant cocktails paired with the best meal we had the entire trip. The outdoor patio was really comfortable. Love this place.

max Trash

Great patio very peaceful (i'm putting a star on it), but service and food were a total disaster, for a quite high price. Had a fish and a steak, were not seasoning, oily, uncooked for the meat, overcooked for the fish... Very bad experience. waiters looked quite unhappy and not helpful at all. After having paid an over 100$ bill (diner for 2 of us, sharing an appetizer and without any desert), i went immediately eat somewhere else a random streetfood kebab on Bourbon street wich was much better. What a shame... if you are searching for good food at reasonable price, run away !

Kelly Firkus

Amazing. Great atmosphere. Food and wine were one of the best meals I've ever had.

Christine Richardson

OMG. Can't wait to go back. Took home bottles of hot sauce made there. Key lime pie is to die for. Our server and I'm so sorry can't remember her name right now was awesome.

Nicholas Cornell

Honestly, one of the best dining experiences I've had! Amazing food, great drinks, and a very friendly staff. The food here is a little pricey, but in my opinion its totally worth it. Make sure to go during happy hour, and try a few different wine choices!

Timothy Holland

I walked in and sat at the bar. When they asked if I wanted a food menu I said only a drink for now. Gradually the nice vibe won me over. I ordered catch of the day. I got to talking to someone and we had a great time. Then another person came in and she was interesting too. Good place.

Greg Evans

I wanted to like it. All staff were very polite and the establishment was very nice. Outdoor seating looked really cute. Sadly I did not enjoy my dinner. At $28 for a chicken dish I had higher expectations. Both my chicken and potatoes were a bit dry.

Kirk Dougherty

While in the Quarter celebrating my birthday, I came here on the recommendation of a security guard at a nearby bar. It was delightful. Not only did my waiter Dickie take excellent care of me, but Johnny the manager kindly came over to my table for a chat. Of course, the meal was excellent and followed by a delicious birthday dessert. I'll be back.

Bill Me

Nice selection of wine. We enjoyed a salad and cheese board. The cheese board had a nice selection of cheeses with some nice supporting characters like apple slices, strawberries and grapes. Please give me a like if you find this review helpful.

Stephen Hynds

Great atmosphere. The staff was very nice. They had a large selection of wine and the Maine lobster tail and steak was perfect

Steven Stone II

We had the shrimp appetizer, followed by the tenderloin and lamb chops. Everything was excellent, service was exceptional, and the atmosphere out back was great. I would highly suggest this to anyone traveling to new orleans. Also, the creme brulee was perfect to top the whole thing off.

Lauren Manera

Could have been better if player piano volume could have been lowered. Too much food that was just okay. Nice server, prices decent. Courtyard out back and a few tables out front. Front tables became smoking area. Yuck.

Sandy Sandberg

Total tourist trap, and in a place known for its food I have a hard time believing this is one of the best. The restaurant is very small and yet still mostly empty, despite lines out the door at nearby restaurants. The waitress was very pleasant and service was fine, but the food was very mediocre. The best thing I ate was the complimentary bread.

Bob Murrell

Bacon happy hour - they just hand you baskets of bacon

Megan

Service was lacking. Fish was not seasoned at all. Chicken was over cooked. At least the ingredients were fresh and it's a nice atmosphere. Overall, highly disappointed with our experience and there are many other much better options to choose from in the French quarter. Disappointed we wasted a meal here and our money.

Kathleen Gusloff

Amazing food.. gluten free options delicious... If you can sit outside do it very quaint. I had catch of the day and it was one of the best fish dishes I have had. It was grouper topped with lump crab and claw crab. So Yummy.. Highly recommend

Brian Hofer

I had the Crawfish and crab cakes. Great service, tasty food and a fun vibe.

Santiago Robles

Excellent and intimate place, great drinks and the attention of the staff (specially Emma) was amazing they made room for us and we had a great time.

Jeanie Linder

We went to Grapevine last night while in town for a cruise. We met the Wonderful owners at the door. We were seated and served by Carrie. Everyone in our party had an amazing food. Carrie was attentive to our needs and offered great suggestions. I'm sure this will be our finest meal of the week!

Aden Smith

Food was average. Service was terrible. Restaurant was not busy. We didn’t request anything off menu. All food fir each guest per course was not delivered together.

Roberto Castaneda

Quaint little restaurant with friendly service. We only had appetizers. The crab cakes are the bomb. We could have eaten them all night long. The cheese board was also outstanding. A little disappointing, were the scallops. They were wrapped in bacon which took away from the delicate flavor of the scallops, also a little over cooked. I would go back.

Kie Sanders

The food the staff and the ambiance was great! I would visit again.

Jamey Graham-Emmert

Everything was amazing. They let our small, well behaved pup join us in the courtyard. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was divine. My hubby and I each ordered wine flights and we shared the baked brie, Angus medallions, as well as the mushroom de vin. Thanks for a great time, Grapevine!

Chris Felder

Great spot for a late night meal or glass of wine. Service is always spot on; food always fresh and good.

Jamie Lowe

Went on a Friday night for dinner and was seated in 10 minutes which I spent at the cigar shop next door. Got in and was greeted by polite hostess and great waiter Johnny. Had decent oysters but not bad. The filet was great. Chicken was great. The bread pudding was maybe the best I've ever had. Fresh table pressed coffee was awesome. Service was quick and efficient.I don't think anything could be better for the price. Will go back.

Drew Griffin

Only stayed two days in New Orleans and the Grapevine Wine Bar & Bistro was across the street from the Bourbon Orleans Hotel where my family and I were staying. Obviously, we checked to see if the reviews were good. After all, if you have a bad meal in New Orleans - it's your own dang fault. I decided to have a salad, appetizer and a dessert. The Duck Breast Salad was perfectly prepared and really tasty. I was hoping it would be a good pairing with the Pinot Noir flight of wines that my wife ordered. And it was. The appetizer I went with was the New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp. Again, I was really blown away with the flavors and the bread served for dipping and to cut the acidity of the barbeque sauce was really good. I have to say the highlight of the meal was the French Vanilla & White Chocolate Bread Pudding. I kid you not, this might be one of the best desserts I have had in years. Going to Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar & Bistro made the rest of the places in the French Quarter a tough comparison.

Daniel Jay

I have been to this restaurant at least 10 times over the past 4 years. Food is great. There is a problem with the service the last few trips. I let it go because it could have been a bad day. Now, it is a pattern. Was there a change in …

N Shuford

I always love ending my night at this quaint restaurant. They have happy hour twice a day. The vest one is from 10pm-Midnight. Why? BACON! They give you bacon during happy hour! The food is good, the desserts are great, and the bar drinks are consistent. They have a patio if you like dining outside and there are fans to cool things a bit. The wine selection is good (not fancy, ok) they offer flights.

Greg Fortmayer

It was a good atmosphere and good food just a little pricey

Morgan Atchison

I went to this place three years ago and came back this past month. Considering we are a very foodie family it takes a lot for me to visit the same place twice.... Sold.

Pennn Fazzz

Food and wine were top notch. Variety of cuisine from steak, seafood, salad, sandwich, gumbo. Even the bread was amazing. The top contender of the French Quarter restaurant scene. This is a place you must eat while in NOLA. For the ideal experience, ask to be seated in the courtyard, even if you have to wait to be seated, i promise you wont regret it

Rodrigo Nunes

Excellent food. Good wine menu

Ellen R

All we wanted was a light evening snack. We had the cheese board and the baked brie. It was perfect! We were seated on the patio where there was heated seating. The ambience was beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sara Cooper

Everything was fantastic. They serve warm french bread with butter. Sit in the courtyard!

Melissa Kolowitz

Perfect! Rack of lamb was amazing and the pecan pie was out of the world! The service was fantastic, thanks Charlotte. Definitely recommend.

Stoney Hamc

Excellent in everyway

Aaron Jones

Had a Caeser Salad and the pan seared sea scallops. Both were excellent. No beers on tap, only bottled.

Jeffrey McEuen

Good wine choices. Great food.

Mary Grout

Great food, service, atmosphere and wine! Quaint courtyard to have dinner. Bartenders very friendly and service was great! Highly recommend! A little peaceful oasis amid the craziness of Bourbon St.

Christian Holden

Dessert was excellent, atmosphere was nice, and the scallops I had were really good. They also give free bacon during happy hour, which is awesome.

marco rietveld

Excellent creol food, nice location, friendly staff and great winelist. Just make sure, when you're not in a hurry, not to order everything right away. Because the kitchen is SUPERFAST!!!! Overall a great restaurant

Ana Heraud

2 days and it felt like home!!! Loved the staff!

Patricia Manning

Extensive wine selection, great food and friendly staff. Bacon happy hour at 4 and 10 everyday!

Stephen Brewster

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTravels. First trip to the French Quarter and looking forward to great food. Having looked at reviews of several places we chose here because of the menu. Sitting outside in the courtyard, we were looking forward to a great experience. Our server seemed to be the only person there that was disinterested in being at work or answering menu questions. Everyone else seemed to be friendly. They brought out bread and butter to start which was fresh and hot. While neither of us are raw oyster eaters I have found fried oysters good on occasion but Diane never has been a fan so for some reason we ordered the Oysters Orleans, oyster cooked with asiago cheese and bacon. Feeling adventurous I guess. What a great choice. We wished we had ordered a full order instead of half. Diane then had the scallops small plate with mushroom wild rice and blackberry brandy reduction. The scallops were few but very good but the rice had a bit to much reduction sauce and was to runny. I had the Gulf Fish almandine made with drum. It just didn't work. The vegies were good but the fish was bland and the almandine sauce was just butter and almonds. Far from the quality I paid for. Half good half disappointing. I wanted to like it but I would definitely try someplace new next time.
