The service and food is always great each time I come here. I pick this place whenever I want a home cooked-like meal but don't feel like cooking/eating at home. No frills but that's my favorite part. This place is a must if you love Korean food!

I recognized less than half of the menu - just the ramen, bibimbap, and bulgogi - which actually made me really excited. I really liked most of the food, and the few things I didn't like I could tell were due to my personal preference rather than their cooking technique/recipe. I was also introduced to cinnamon drink here, which I liked so much that I plan to try to replicate it at home.

I loved this place! Zero ambiance, but who cares. Get the Dolsot Bibambap. It may be the only place in the city serving it. Also, order the Cinnamon Punch. I'm going to try to make it myself. Soooo yummy!!! Can't wait to go back.

Nola Korea is a little Korean restaurant that recently opened. I've had my share of disappointments for Korean food in NOLA and decided to give this place a try. We went here as a group of 6 on a Friday night and was seated right away...there werent a lit of customers. For appetizers we ordered the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimchi pancakes, and the spicy fried chicken. All of them were delicious. I really enjoyed the crispy kimchi pancakes. The spicy rice cakes however were a little undercooked, as the texture was not soft... We also got the bibimbap which came with some gochujang/chilli paste. It was not the best...I felt like it was lacking in flavor and the chili paste was very sweet instead of spicy. Overall my experience here wasn't too bad, the worker was very nice, just the flavor of the food could've been better.

Food is good but pricy. A dish called Raman noodle is a disaster. The 50 cent Raman noodle pack with chicken became $7.99 dish with no Korean touch. Never try that dish.

Tasty, authentic AND inexpensive Korean food! In fact the best I have had in New Orleans. Skip the other big Korean food establishments in town and give this little gem a try! Even their banchan (free small dishes) are phenomenal!

A nice small place owned by the Korean couple serving good food! Was hoping to order jjajangmyun but they don't have it on menu. The yang yeom chicken is good! Ordered the teok galbi, a lil salty but eating it with kimchi was delicious. Couldn't order too much but will come back to try others!

This place is amazing! I love it! The food was magical. There are no other words capable to describe my experience here. The Beef Galbi was amazing; the Tofu Jigae was so flavorful it tastes amazing. As an Asian (not Korean), I am very satisfied. A side note, the owner was really nice.

This venue seems to change names and Cuisines on a regular basis. It previously was called JH Cafe and served relatively okay Asian food. This new incarnation serves Korean food, and it's what you would expect. The ingredients are good and the dishes are good quality, and the prices are about right. Service is not quite as attentive as it should be which is surprising given how small the place is.

Havent had alot if korean food in the past, but this place is BOMB! Ive had 3 different entrees and they have all been amazing. Great service too. You wont be disappointed!
