Best hamburgers around & they have a great selection from veggie burgers to Turkey burgers you name it. Their sweet potato fries are sone of the best I've had. Their appetizers are very good too, we love the fried mushrooms! Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of TVs if you want to watch a game. Great patio area. Definitely reccomend!

Clean, pleasant. TVs and sound were not obnoxious. So atmosphere was good. It took a while for our waitress to realize we had been seated, but when she did she was very attentive and on point. Food was great. Fries are the bomb. Burger just right. I had the Patty Melt, Sauteed onions were just right. Cost for 3 burgers a couple of drinks and beers was 45. You can't beat that.

Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are clean. We don't go often but it is really a great place to go by yourself or with family. Not a quiet date place really but a great social environment.

I always have a great experience here. The staff is so friendly and the servers are so helpful and accommodating! The food is always hot coming out and has great taste. Their burgers are delicious. Their food portions are very large and the prices are just right. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice and very well decorated. They have covered patio outdoor seating and also a few uncovered tables on the opposite end with more outdoor seating. In the winter time they have heaters and during the summer they have misters to keep you cool. If you are looking for a good restaurant to take your family. This is definitely the place! Y’all are doing a great job. A very special thank you to our server Victoria, we had a party of 9 and you did an amazing job and you were so helpful. We are very grateful for your hard work and hospitality. Thank you!

Food was top notch! I had a burger, and it was quality beef, and not dry and hard, the bun was sweet and fresh, and they did not skimp on toppings. Service was a 10, and our waitress Lauren was very knowledgeable about menu items, and made suggestions accordingly. I think that the prices are good, and that is a plus. I eat out nearly every day, so this place will be on my list of places to frequent.

The prices are amazing for the amount of food. $10 for a burger is average, but the SIZE of the party is what makes it so good. It isn't a thin Patty, but it's got some girth. I had the pizza burger with a side of beer battered fries and the Mugshot. I wasn't expecting such a tall drink (I'm bad with numbers so even though it says how many ounces, I was surprised). And the fries? Probably the best fries I've had this side of the Mississippi River!

10/6/19 - We made a return trip after speaking with Sean, and I can honestly say that we had an AWESOME experience. Our Server, Tina took amazing care of us, was on point, and the food this time was fantastic, even though they had 2 cooks call out that day and Sean was working in the back himself! If you go, ask if Tina is working, you will be GLAD you did. Thank you to Sean and Tina for showing us that there are restaurants that really DO care about their Customers. 9/3/19- PLEASE NOTE: The Owner reached out and I had a very nice conversation with him. He will investigate to see what happened with our visit, and invited us to visit again for a better experience. I truly appreciate that, and we will make a point to stop back in. (Will let everyone know how it goes when that happens) Wasn't really busy, but the service was slow, food took quite awhile to arrive, fries were soggy and lukewarm at best. I asked for my burger medium and it was well done and dried out while the burger someone else ordered was all but raw, while the 3rd member of our party had a perfect burger. The buns were under baked, so they were soggy, which was a shame. All in all, "ok" but I don't see me coming back any time soon.

Overall my experience was awesome! Food was great and our waitress Bree varnado was even better.. When I arrived with someone that was handicap which made it very difficult for me to exit my vehicle to go in to pick up our food Bree was more than happy to bring it out to us! First time there. I ordered a blue cheese burger w/bacon. The fries are great! Their signature bun is fresh baked sourdough but I don't like that so they do offer wheat or gluten free options. I ordered wheat and it was also fresh baked so the bottom part was crumbly and split in half. HOWEVER, it was wonderful and I can always use a knife and fork! Great prices, generous portions, friendly servers! Will definitely return!

Restaurant was super clean. The server was great, but the food was not. Burgers seem to be frozen patties with ZERO flavor/seasoning. The chips and salsa...well the salsa is definitely store bought picante sauce. The fried mushrooms aren't bad, and the fries are good. overall, I was not impressed at all. Wouldn't go back myself but it could be a good place for teens to get a cheap meal!

Mugshots is a fun, family restaurant with delicious burgers! The portions are large and not your average fast food fare. There are other selections to choose from, from seafood, nachos, and even burgers with patties stacked sky high it seems, but I can only review the bacon cheese burger with american cheese and a side of their thick cut fries. It was cooked just right, hot and delicious! My husband has also eaten at other Mugshot locations when out of down and says this one is the best! The staff is friendly and service is fast! Mugshots in Covington has one of the best burgers in our area.

I visited this Mugshots on a Saturday evening and even though every other restaurant seemed to be packed they weren't. I thought it would be nice and quiet but the reality wasn't close. The staff were all very young and seemed distracted for the limited amount of customers they were servicing; and the hostess seated everyone who came in right next to each other so I had to hear some woman on her speakerphone the whole time. The food was just ok. The burger is still a good burger, and I enjoyed it, but the fries are not as good as they used to be. My experience with this place made it seem like they are on their way to closing their doors.

Yummy food! You can find comfort food here, amazing beer and a challenge. The Mugshot challenge is not for the faint of heart. Most don't finish it. I didn't even finish it the first time and still haven't . If you think you can do it then best of luck! The staff is amazing and nice. Always showing football games. Food was great. We all had fantastic burgers. The men had "The Patio", one of us had the "Naked Turkey", (no bun)... I had the "Savelll" Enjoyed lunch after church with our sweetest friends. Loved the food and the fellowship. My only problem... Well not really a problem... We had the Cha Cha Chips with spinach and artichoke dip. It had no flavor. None. Chips nor the dip. Other than that no complaints.

Best burgers in town, but the service consistently stinks... today, after being seated promptly, I was left on “simmer” for 15 minutes before they came to take a drink order... 15 minutes later, I got my water and placed my order... food deliver was slow but ok after that, but this is why my family won’t come here... you are 45 minutes in before getting your food at a no-frills restaurant. The service has been like this for a few years... I keep making solo runs hoping it will be better, but consistently come up empty... maybe next time I’ll just try take-out or a delivery service - it seems like those orders move quickly... great food, but lousy service... hopefully one day it’ll be fixed.

The burger was a little dry. Also there was some confusion about the "no onions" I requested, but our server, Hannah resolved it quicky. She was friendly and efficient and didn't hover, I appreciate that. The place has a relaxed casual atmosphere, lots of exposed brick work, faux rusted tin, industrial lighting, a hippster vibe. A lot of tv's around the room and the walls are covered with pictures of employees holding up Mugshots tshirts from all over. That's kind of fun. Mugshots offers a wide variety of menu items but really it's all about the burger for me. This burger was just ok, nothing special about it. Maybe next time we'll just do drinks and apps.

We eat a Mugshots on occasion. I usually get one of their burgers which are always good. This time I got the grilled Mahi Mahi with vegetables. It was wonderful. The fish was perfectly done and had a light sauce drizzled over it. The vegetables were also grilled to perfection. My husband got the hamburger with blu cheese. He was happy that they cooked it exactly as he requested (hard and dry). Both of us enjoyed our meal.

*EDIT* I want to thank the owner for responding to the problems I listed in my post. I was pleased to know that the problems were being addressed and measures taken to correct them. First time I’ve been in about a year. Placed looked run down. The booth we sat at had tape on the seat and very little padding. It was about 90 and humid Louisiana weather, but was warm inside the restaurant, I asked the server if they could turn AC down and was told she would ask him (manager) but he probably wouldn’t. It got a little cooler during the 40 minute wait for 2 burgers, which were fair at best. I ordered no onions then scraped them off after first bite. Server asked if I wanted to send it back but I we were out of time and I was ready to find a cooler spot. Can’t say I won’t go back but will not be my first burger stop in Covington. The Hattiesburg location is better!! #SMTTT

I got the chicken burger that had pineapple, bacon, and bbq. Flavor was great, but somehow it was dry and juicy at the same time. I've had better and I've had worse. Overall, not bad. I decided to give this a second chance and was thoroughly disappointed. Food was cold multiple times. Orders were wrong. What we got was decent, but after not being thrilled the first time, I doubt I will be back. UPDATE: I took the manager up on his offer for one more try, and I definitely have an improved view of this place. I have since been back more than once.

Service was fast and friendly. Had the beer battered onion rings with comeback sauce which was very good. Wish I had gotten a larger order. Also got the Pat O burger. 1/2 lb beefy goodness. Juicy beef not overcooked, cheddar and Swiss cheese, I added bacon and fully dressed. I couldn't finish even half of the burger. The bun was slightly sweet and light. Overall the meal was very good. Price was good for the high quality of the meal. 10/10 will go back again.

Update to initial review: I revisited this establishment only to be greatly disappointed and completely put off by the food and the owners overall lack of interest in making good on the promise of a better dining experience. I took my family to dine on a late Saturday night and the restaurant seemed to be operating pretty good, there were only two other tables besides ours and one was actually leaving. We ordered the same things we had at our last visit but the food turned out to be inedible. So yes chicken wings were still very good but the chicken fried steak was beyond disgusting. The first time we ordered it was like butter, and seasoned well. This time I guess they ran out of the meat because they substituted a hard, over fried, dripping in oil burger patty instead. We couldn't even cut into it. The server was extremely nice and we didn't want to make him feel like it was his fault, and decided to just take it to go to feed to our pigs. Upon opening the take out box the next morning we removed the breading which was falling apart anyway. It was then that we noticed we had been served left over burgers instead of the steak we paid for. I was really angry at this point and attempted to reach out to the owner by email but I never got a response. I then thought to reach out via the google review page and was told by the owner that they use burger patties for the chicken fried steak. He completely ignored the fact that I had ordered this exact same thing previously and it was not a burger with grill marks on it. He also said that they are training new kitchen staff and these things will happen. I'm sorry, but that's not my problem. I paid over $100 for that meal plus a very nice tip. It should have been freaking delicious and prepared perfectly. No substitutions should have been made by the kitchen and we should have been told they ran out of a particular item so we could order something else. I was not offered a refund or any type of replacement meal on a future visit. Which is totally ok now, because there is no way I would ever return to eat there. I don't trust how they prepare food and there are plenty of other local restaurants doing right by their customers. Honey chicken wings are the best I ever had. The rest of the food is kind of ok. Atmosphere is comfortable and servers are very attentive. Will eat here again.
