I have one complaint red beans the smoke sausage is too salty beans are good the meat smoke sausage too salty. Try and get a better brand of smoke sausage.

Good value and food. They overcame a slow and weak start after I sat forever at my table for one. But once I got some service, everything was fast and delicious. The seafood platter was large, hot and perfectly fried. The side potato salad was ok. At under $20, the seafood platter was a great value, and with a couple of beers, the total was right at $30.

It seems like a lot of locals were there at the bar the night we went. They all knew each other and the bar tender only confirmed what they were going to drink before getting it. The food was very good our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely go there again when in the area. Stopped here for first time. Nice restaurant atmosphere on inside. Attractive bar. Had a seafood gumbo and it was a good gumbo. Had the seafood platter. It was fine. Very extensive menu.

Food was great. Music was greatest hits of the 70s and it was too loud. I counted 6 tv's. Only 3 sporting events being aired.

Went to dinner with friends at my neighborhood restaurant. This is one of my favorite places in Kenner. We enjoyed the food and the menu has many selections for you to choose. Friendly staff !! It seems like a lot of locals were there at the bar the night we went. They all knew each other and the bar tender only confirmed what they were going to drink before getting it. The food was very good our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely go there again when in the area.

Ordered the three fried crab cakes with the fried shrimp on top. The whole flavor profile and presentation is wrong in this dish. The crab cakes did not benefit from being fried to something resembling a black donut looking thingy with a fried shrimp on top! They were actually fairly tasty after I cut them in two and scraped the inside out. The fried outer crust changes the taste for the worse. The shrimps were sad and in search of tartar sauce ... Grill or bake them for heaven's sake, and serve it with a tasty fresh sauce on the side.

Great food and even better service. Our waitress Liz was super and make our dining experience much more fun and enjoyable. They had a beautiful patio that was pet friendly which we appreciate because we travel with our pup often. Kudos to Mr Ed's!! We visit kenner every year and have a new place to ad to our favs list. Food took forever. Very bland flavor. No where near as good as the Metairie local. Waitress did not check on us. Did not ask if we needed more drinks. Other tables got there food before us and we were seated before them. Wait staff very poor.

I go here for the comfort food. My favorite is the Butter Beans with fried pork chop. The beans are seasoned perfectly and there's a generous helping of sausage and pickled pork.

Mr Ed's in Kenner is probably the best one of the locations. The staff is great and willing to offer changes to the menu to meet your taste. I am gluten free and they go out of their way to provide me with a meal that you usually can't find in a fried seafood restaurant. Good food all around, and our family enjoyed the Turtle Soup & the Trout is also very good!

We went to Mr. Ed's last evening and, I must say, it was an excellent experience. Gary was our server and he was pleasant. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and rattled off the daily specials without a hitch. All of our courses came out in a timely manner and our glasses never reached the point of empty. When we got to the dessert course, I got a bananas foster pie. It was so good that I would go back just for that. Overall, a 5 star experience in my book!

I enjoyed the food they're tremendously. this is the first time I have tried this location and was satisfied with the service and overall quality of the food. The lunch specials were a little pricey, but it was tasty. if you're looking for a place to have a nice meal and not feel rushed, you should try this restaurant. If you're just looking for good quality food at a reasonable price you may want to try one of the other local restaurants.
