The variety of crabs on the weekends and now the Southern King Crab are in!! Prime Rib and the Creme Brûlée! And great servers like Andrew and Beth! Best buffet in town, worth the price.

I would of rated a lot better. But I had heard they had a really good buffet. But boy was I fooled. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $37 a person. First off they didn't tell us until after we paid that they are no longer serving crab legs. The steak was dry and tough. The chicken was burnt and very dry. The brisket was a little tough but good flavor. The shrimp, general tsos chicken, ham, mash potatoes and mac and cheese were all pretty good. Staff was friendly. Definitely won't return for that price. I've had much better buffets at other casinos for a lot cheaper.

Taste like they wereVery disappointing for the price. Arrived three at 12:45pm on Sunday brunch. Paid $19.99 for each of us. The meats were very dry. The seafood didn't taste fresh. The pho used spinach instead of basil leaves. I felt like it was a more expensive old country buffet and didn't taste very good. The service wasn't very good either. Nor very friendly or smiling service. I took a picture of a shrimp that was on the ground when we arrived and 25-30 minutes later it was still there. The plates weren't removed that quickly and nor was our water chips refilled. I definitely won't be back and won't recommend you go there. You're better off going somewhere else.

The price was a bit high, but I understand that aspect. My husband and I are here and the customer service was great. The atmosphere was great but if you don't really like seafood or crawfish especially it might not be a place for you.

Excellent buffet. the price is over $20, but it has had things you can't get elsewhere. sometimes they even had French fruit tartletts but last time they didn't. I too love the crab. the buffet has an Asian and Mexican section too. The view of the ships going by really makes it. I wish they would allow small vessels to dock outside without staying overnight in the cajun tradition.

Le Beaucoup Buffet used to be our favorite place to go for seafood buffet. They were once a first class restaurant with first class service. But, sigh, that has all changed. While they once had Blue, Dungeness, King, and Snow Crabs, along with Rock Crab claws. This last time, they only had Rock Crab claws. While they once had a variety of prepared Shrimp, this time they only had tiny boiled shrimp and popcorn sized fried shrimp. What a waste. They really have gone to the dogs. And I haven't even started talking about how their service has gone to toilet. Too bad I can't give them zero stars.

This is a really good buffet. They have different highlighted foods every night like steak nights and seafood nights, plus so many options. It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love some of the Cajun specialty foods and their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had. Some nights the wait to get in can be a bit long.

I've heard raving reviews about the food. I would never go again during lunch. EVERYTHING was disgusting, boiled crabs had no flavor and were over cooked. Kept hearing they were going to turn over the food never happened. No one in our party went back for seconds.

This is a really nice buffet. I went around brunch time and couldn't believe that they make fresh Pho! I also had fried chicken and waffles, fresh fruit, grilled shrimp and potstickers. There was so much more that I wanted to try, but I was too full.

The variety and the quality has been cut in half and the price almost doubled since 2010. Last time we went the only thing worth eating was 3 steak strips out of the 7 I had put on my plate. Everything else i attempted to try was horrible. Back in 2009 i would have given it 5 stars. Friday nights at dinner there was a line to the elevator last few months fridays have been a half full house with no line. 2009 price $27 per adult 2019 price $44 per adult

Was the worst experience i have had at this restraunt. I didnt mind paying the $120 price for 3 at the buffet but i expect the service and food to be of the same quality. The grill cook for the fish simply ignored me twice that i went up to the line. He looked at me but never asked me what i wanted then simply went back into the kitchen and disappeared. I asked for the moist side of the prime rib and so did my wife both cuts we got at seperate times were very dry and tough. The crab well good luck getting any out of it . Definitely cooked to long. I have eaten here every time we come and for the most it was pretty good. There are a lot better choices within the area ( my 2 cents)

This definitely is not worth $38 a person my husband and I will never go back to this restaurant. The food was not good. We tried everything There and was not happy. We Would’ve been happier with Ryan’s. Also They dont have crab legs and won’t until maybe next year, we were told.

The waitress we had was good keep the drinks filled and or used plates off the table. The service for the food sucked. Nothing keeper replinished except for the crabs and crawfish. The dessert section not keep up. They only had 1 lady behind the counter. This is the first time I been here that it was so bad. Even on Thanksgiving it was not this bad. A lot of guys in suits not doing nothing but walking around. I know they are supervisor but if your shorthanded they need to help.

Good selection of items and the food quality match with the price tag. Side note: I was surprised by how good their Chinese food section was. The one star off was because of disliking the overly salted crabs. Did a good job cooking it don’t know why the resultant has to put so much salt with the crab. Other than that, I am really happy for checking this place out while stoping by Lake Charles.

Cashier was rude! She rolled her eyes when I asked for military discount. I showed proof but come on show some respect for a veteran. Cashier said don't forget to add tip. I told her we tip in cash. Our waitress was overall rude! She never came back to check on us. The manager even walked by and chatted with a table. Never checked in on any other tables. Disappointed with mgmt. Wait staff might be use to people automatically rolling in tip when paying. On bright side food was pretty good!

Don't expect to get comped a free buffet unless they send you one in the mail. I don't think the lunch and dinner buffet is worth the price, but the breakfast one is. They will make you omelettes, waffles, pancakes, and French toast. The fried biscuits are awesome. I usually can't eat lunch after I eat breakfast here because I'm so full. When I am in Lake Charles, I always eat at the Buffet. I always enjoy the different selection of foods that are available. I like to eat at the Brunch because I can enjoy breakfast or lunch at the same time. Their coffee is excellent. The service is second to none.

I didn't mind paying $37 per person when they had king crab. It was really worth it to me. I would go twice a month to gamble and eat there for about 2 years now. After this weekend I will never return again. The food quality is horrible. They no longer have king crab any crab for that matter. I wasn't told until after I paid. I spent $37 on a dry steak and noodles. I was so disappointed. I will be looking for another place to go from now on. I won't be gambling at Laberge either.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. For the last 5 years we have come here with our family for Christmas dinner and this year the price had went up to almost $40.00 per person, the Alaskan King Crab was removed from the buffet and the snow crab and dungenous crab seemed to be either over cooked or left setting in water a long time. The claws had a rubber consistency and the meat inside were more like paste. The prime rib was dry, the dirty rice and the brisket were the best things we found on the buffet. The deserts had not even thawed out yet. For what we spent ($172.00 for 4 people)for the meal and then the fuel to drive here we could have went to Golden Corral and had the same dinner for a lot less. We will be looking for a new place to have our family Christmas dinner from now on.

Have had nothing but great experiences here. Food is always delicious, restaurant is always clean as well. Tonight we had an especially great experience because we had the best server we have had at not only this restaurant, but at any restaurant in all of Lake Charles in atleast 6+ months. Blake was amazing and so attentive, he kept us with extra drinks & checked on us frequently. We will be asking for him from now on.

This is usually one of my highlights of coming to Lake Charles but no more. When I questioned the amount I was charged with the veterans discount the young girl at the cash register was so rude and dismissive I could hardly believe it. She had absolutely no interpersonal skills and seemed troubled that I was speaking to her. The last time I came here the veteran discount was for the whole party of three and this time with the same party of three they only gave me the discount as the veteran while I had to pay full price for the other two.That makes a huge difference so make sure you know what discount you are actually getting when you go because apparently it changes. I even spoke to the manager who was nice, but all he could offer was some take home desserts that we never got. Our server was incredibly sweet with a great attitude and smiling the whole time, but the young girl up front should be taught some customer service skills or be fired. I did notice someone else on here mentioning the same thing about someone at the cash registers too. Dear Lauberge, My family stop by to eat around 7PM. Came from Houston. The food quality isn't good. There were short staff working at the buffet area. The servers didnt look friendly and was slacking off/lazy to clean our table. I have to ive a hand signal so they can come to my table to pick up the plates. I have to move the plates to the other table sometimes because lack of staffs. The food was horrible. The seasoning wasn't great. Seafood is bad. You charge us 29.95 a person. My family and I will never ever stop at your place again. I will past it on about this. So whenever they stop by Lake Charles. They wont stop by at your buffet to eat. Because it is horrible!

Came for the buffet of snow & king crab on Dec. 30th but the grilled shrimp was the best, followed by the medium rare prime rib. Our waiter Alex was very attentive to our party of five. Had a great meal and dining experience.

This buffet has become greedy and expensive. This is one of the main attractions of L’Auberge before because of their crabs and seafood. We come here and lose money in the casino and the only consolation we have is that they have a nice buffet. But now, we are discouraged to come and play because there’s no more buffet to attract us to. More expensive and less items . You now have to pay extra for the crabs! Ridiculous! Vegas has way better seafood buffets for LESS! Come on L’Auberge, don’t be so greedy and give your customers something to look forward to, anyway we always come here and shell out money in your casino!

Service was excellente!!! But that's all I can say about this place. Only few items I can pick out that's not disappointed. I guess over the years quality of food didn't improve but went opposite way. Items I did like: the deserts section. Vietnamese pho was pretty good this time. Last time the soup was bland the noodle was just wrong, don't even know how to describe it. Gumbo was very good, sauces was nice, fruit salad was decent, I was just happy at the last minute of my early dinner the stone crab and blue crab was out. Apparently they changed the menu the last minute. Coz they told me there's no any crab today, lol. Prime rib pretty consistent. I can still find things here to eat. But it's just not that impressive and fulfilling.

6/30/18 Drove for over an hour, past Cashata Casino in Kinder on to Lauberge in Lake Charles for seafood buffet only to find out they NO LONGER SERVE SEAFOOD & price is even higher. NO MORE KING CRAB, DUNGEONESS CRAB, SNOW CRAB, CRAWFISH, etc. We've been dining at Lauberge since it opened; our 1st trip there was $17 a person but that was a Grand Opening price. We pent $155 for 4 people tonight; the food & selection was not that great. Needless to say we will not be making that trip again.

Quite a good selection of food and definitely way better in quality/ taste/service than your average buffet. It has a wide selection of desserts. Pho & pasta stations are available. Seafood and other meat (frog legs!)selections are acceptable. I didn't see crawfish on my visit. There are nachos bar, gumbo, chowder, bean ham soup. I love the artichokes salad! A great place if you can eat numerous plates of seafood for the price
