It's a great place to go and catch the Saints game. Cheap drinks and free food.

went their with friends to watch the saints play two weeks ago and had a super time. They had lots of TV's, free gumbo which was very good. The bartender was very friendly and good at what he did. The only complaint is they ran out of Midnight Moonshine. Going back this Sunday to watch the game again and hope the have the Midnight Moonshine blueberry in stock.

Decent, low-key vibe. Efficient bartenders, serving affordable beverages. Festooned with 60's bridge 70's tsotskis and the right amount of dust. Outfitted with a quiet courtyard and exterior benches for street seating.

I am always at J&J's when I am in town. The atmosphere can't be beat. Everyone is so friendly and you are guaranteed to have a good time. You never know what is cooking on a Sunday during football season either but you do know it is going to be good. It is a little off the beaten path but so worth the time to visit.

My husband and I live a few blocks away, but we dont get out very often. We were expecting to have a couple drinks and go home. BUT, we ended up meeting Liz, Bella, and Eric and having a great time chatting, drinking, and laughing! The atmosphere at J&Js is nothing short of community-like, and the drinks are cheap! We will definitely be back soon!!!!!

Dive joint in the bywater with a nice mix of hipsters, punk rockers, older neighborhood folk and the like. Makes for a nice little pub crawl to go here, Vaughns, bjs, and redux. Bonus points for a cool courtyard.

Never ever go in here with a credit card. I was charged for my drinks, about 30.00 and that's cool. Got another charge for 80.00. I tell all my friends to stay clear.

I come here every night just tonight i decided to come in the evening and i got 2 sangria’s total was 9$ which i gave her a 10$ bill she put the dollar on the counter and the rude lady behind the bar instantly caught a attitude cause i pad get with the change from the 10$ As if i wasn’t t gonna tip her i instantly don’t wanna be here but I’m here and this will be my last time here u can’t judge if someone off what they order or how they look to see if they gonna tip u i tip every bartender here they know me sorry but i won’t be here again due to her rudeness and she’s telling another customer
