Delicious homemade everything. Smoked ham is not to be missed, and the chipped beef sandwich on a homemade roll is the perfect lunch. The sauce is more Carolina-esque in style. A bit more vinegar than brown sugar, and it's delicious! Sausage only available Saturday and Sunday.

Grayson's is a great little place to eat at If you want barbeque and don't want to grill. They have the best smoked hams this side of the river and at Thanksgiving and Christmas time you can pre order a ham or turkey. Yummy

Saw the reviews so thought we’d try it. The experience was NOT good. If you want good ribs here is NOT the place. Ribs horribly tough and dry. Didn’t eat them. Or any of the other food either! Grrrrr!!!! Way over priced for the quality. Go to Bossier at Bodacious!

Don't let the outside of this restaurant detour you from stopping in. I stopped here based upon a friend saying, "they have the best BBQ. . ." Folks, I can not argue about that. Bought a pound of ribs and should have bought three. OUTSTANDING BBQ and albeit it is a bit of distance from me, I will be going back! Worth the drive! Great customer service. . .

I used to come here as a child with my parents throughout my growing up years. We were in the area,today and I got to bring my husband and my own grown children. How,wonderful to walk through the door and feel all those memories rushing backafter seeing not much had changed. The bbq is still some of the best I ever had. The ribs were melt in your mouth goodness. The ham was smoky goodness and the beef still as yummy as ever. Don't forget to pick up dessert on your way out the door. The cookies are delicious and unique. I have never had any made like them anywhere else. I got chocolate and sure wished they weren't out of iced gingerbread. Thank you Graysons for all the memories and for the amazing meal today!

People were very polite but the food simple isn't good. The barbecue sauce has the weird taste of cheap sweet spaghetti sauce mixed with a weak version of a standard barbecue sauce (it didn't have that nice vinegary taste). I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was overcooked and dry. No fountain drinks so they sell you bottles or cans, which isn't a deal-breaker but the food is hard to get through. The "cookies" are weird in consistency and taste. I will not eat here again. The waitress was very friendly, but otherwise this restaurant has no redeeming qualities. People say it is the best restaurant around but as far as I can tell it's just the only one.

Simple MEAT PLACE. Forgot the building and skip the restroom... The sides are nothing special but I will say. I've eaten here my whole life. Everytime my father worked in the area he brought us Grayson's and now every time I'm working around Montgomery, Campti, Natchitoches or passing through on 71 I will stop. The CHIPPED with home made bun an RC Cola and regular potato chip is my deal... Most of the time I will bring back quart home. I really like there ribs too but as I said the Chipped is a combination of all the meats in a stew pot on the stove simmering all day.....yummmmm Haven't been... Gotta go. And remember the building is tired, old, dark and dingy... Bit the service is friendly and it's ALL ABOUT THE MEAT.

After retiring from the Navy, Mr. Grayson started his BBQ place a little ways up the road from where it is now. My Dad and I would stop by to pick up some of his delicious BBQ on our way back from fishing. That was more than 60 years ago. Now in the fifth generation, the Grayson family still makes the best BBQ that i know. My family loves BBQ, and so we've tried it from Houston to San Antonio to Dallas, through Arkansas, Mississippi and into Tennessee. I still love their's the best! Maybe part of that love comes from the memories of eating there with my parents, wife, children, and grandchildren. I was thrilled to have recently taken one of our great grandchildren there. So, we've been with them for 5 generations too. Long ago, my parents started the tradition of getting one of their delicious smoked hams for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I still make the three hour drive each year maintaining that tradition, and also picking up some of their "frog rolls" and special cookies. I will continue to do so as long as God allows - with Graysons help keeping wonderful memories alive, and enjoying great food.
