Nice atmosphere, cool smooth jazz sets the tone,had the fried oysters,and the quesadilla with the chicken,they were great,so we were so excited that the entrees would be exceptional.we ordered simple med rare ribeye's and fried shrimp wow we got med well steaks that were paper thin shrimp breaded fried to death and still had shells on them the server lied twice,(the price,and going to get condiments)they were out of things like milk,cocktail sauce.completely unconcerned that there were problems with the meal I sent mine back with more than half left on the plate never even inquired if i had a problem with the food Waite staff has a definite attitude what you get on your plate is what you get no replacement no recook,to quote"that is sad for you"this was by far the worst dinning experience ever only cost $104.00 maybe a year ago the place had a chef that cared now they just have a cook that doesn't Maybe people in New Orleans have no idea what fine dinning and good food is.the claim is this is a Sexy Sophisticated establishment I think not bad food out of condiments this is a sign of a business going under soon the food will be rancid and kill.DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

Ive been to a few clubs before and i can honestly say that dish is the best club ive been to in a long while. The food downstairs was amazing and the club upstairs was a completely different experience. The music was great and the service was awesome. Id definitely recommend this place to everyone its that kind of environment.

Advertises as a 25+ spot on the radio station but after visiting on a Sat night I think the oldest person in the building was 25! Was also told dress to impress. No men but myself dressed impressively. I will say the bar staff was polite and skilled. Very, very disappointed!

I'm kind of surprised by all of the positive reviews that mention the service. I've been to this restaurant four times and I've had poor service each time. A couple of those times from the manager herself! This place has really good food. The catfish is to die for and the shrimp and grits are awesome. I kept going back thinking that the service has to get better. Unfortunately the owners of this restaurant didn't think beyond making the place look pretty and having good food. That isn't all that a restaurant is. A restaurant that is trying to elevate itself to be called fine dining needs to properly train its staff. There is a lack of attentiveness from all levels. I'm not sure if half the employees are family and are just helping out or what. The owners would do really well to take some time evaluating the staff's education on fine dining. Maybe even take them on a "field trip" to some of the other nice restaurants in town so maybe they have an example to follow. It really is a shame that the service is so poor (I don't even think that some of the "lower" chain restaurants would have service this poor) because really it could be a great restaurant. The prices seem high for what you get but they aren't out of line when you compare it to a Ralph's on the Park or Cafe Adelaide. And the quality of the food is in line with those restaurants. But the poor service makes this place a dud. I've given this place more than enough chances unfortunately as I would love to see a fancy restaurant in nola east make it; but alas, in a city with lots of good food AND great service I can't keep trying for a restaurant that won't try for me.

Well.....disappointing. Firstly, the Sunday brunch is just a breakfast buffet, no set menu. The service was weird, with the server grabbing my coffee cup from the top, where one drinks and hovering over us at the end when we paid. The breakfast offerings were lame and borderline cafeteria-esque. Poorly scrambled eggs, store bought breakfast links and the like. There was no "jazz brunch" as listed but just loud contemporary gospel playing over the speakers. To top it all off the buffet was $18! Lame.
